"I will get to see you, this thought only can wake me up from dead."

Much to Omkara's relief, Naynika kept a decent distance from him throughout the day. In evening, he called at the front desk of his office.

'Good evening sir, how can I help you?', the receptionist asked politely.

'Some men are called for an interview here. All those who will produce a card written 'Applicant for secretary post', send them to my cabin.'

'Okay sir.'

After one hour, some bulky men entered one by one in his cabin. He went through their CVs, and it was quite difficult to choose only one out of them.

As if God had listened to his prayer, a short man entered with a file. Gesturing him to sit, he started going through his CV, and at the recommendation part made his eyeballs pop out of their sockets. A certificate of excellence, Omkara Singh Oberoi, his signature cursive was scribbled as the proposer. He looked up at him surprised.

'Dandi, Master', the man smiled knowingly, 'I used to work for you before the accident happened'.

Omkara furrowed his eyebrows, 'Why don't you now?'

'Shivaay sir didn't need a bodyguard for you anymore, since you left your mansion in Panchghani, and he must've thought that you would live in Mumbai for the rest of time.' The man talked to him like he knew him for ages, making the air around them friendly, 'But, since you're alone again in Kolkata and looking for a secretary, I couldn't help myself from coming back for the same job under the same man'.

'You're hired. Take my card and meet me tomorrow morning in my house', but Dandi stopped his hand from forwarding his card.

'Bungalow no. 8, Shanti Neer, Newtown. Your address. I know already', Dandi smirked knowingly.

'I like you even more, let's share a hug man', Omkara hugged him, feeling the nostalgia again.

'Gauri was walking while adjusting the strap of her backpack, and what she didn't notice was two men approaching her unintentionally, whisper-talking between themselves.

She staggered back as soon as she hit something broad and, hard.

'Ouch!!', she palmed her nose. Looking up, she staggered back more.

Red as a tomato in embarrassment, she looked down at her feet, chewing her lower lip, her heart pounding in her ears as she spoke softly, 'I'm sorry Omkaraji.'

She tried to brush past him, but he barred his forearm before her. Bending at her ear he smirked, 'How do you know my name?'

Gauri mentally kicked herself. Like seriously Gauri? How come you became so dumb to call him by his old addressing?, coughing awkwardly, she fumbled, 'I.. Uh.. I guess the board at the door of your cabin is quite readable, Your highness.' Gauri prayed the floor to divide and engulf her within. I made another addressing, wow.

But a very known chuckle made her snap her head towards his companion. Fucking wow!! Dandi!! Now only this was remaining to be witnessed.. She made a poker face.

'Omkaraji.. You can call me by it! I would love to hear it from you', he breathed heat in her ear and her nerves tingled in a familiar sensation, as he tilted his head cockily, smirking.

Gauri sighed exasperatedly. Not again, I hate those smirks, she shook her head and shot Dandi a warning glare, 'Thank you Sir, but I will settle for Sir only', she darted towards the employees' lift as soon as its door opened.

Once her sweaty, irritated, yet panicked face veiled behind the steel doors of the lift, Omkara turned to Dandi, 'She is really beautiful, isn't she?'

Dandi answered back, 'Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder, master, you and I cannot find her beautiful in the same way.'

Omkara laughed heartily patting Dandi's back, 'You are the perfect one for this post Dandi, you gave the answer just as I wanted you to.'

'I know master', Dandi bowed smiling.

Omkara laid on his bed after a cold shower. He wasn't wishing though.

'Hope I don't wake up midnight', he grumbled while decreasing the temperature of ac more. The night was of a new moon and the domes of bulbs planted in the garden illuminated the misty sliding glass door of the balcony. Misty, because of the aerosols in air got dense upon the cool glass, cooled by the low temperature of the ac.

He opened his eyes and his gaze stumbled upon a pair of hazel irises looking up at him. And there was fear(?) in them.

His heartbeat paced up when he felt how close she was to his. His muscles were coiled around her ever so tightly, her small fingers wrapped around his biceps unsuccessfully, their legs entangled.

She inched her face closer, and he almost shrieked in surprise. It was the same woman he got as one of his employees!! But his heart was stung by a happy pain, when her eyes twinkled as a little girl.

Suddenly, tears spilled from her eyes, streaming down her cheeks, and her small nose turned red. He furrowed his brows, but couldn't help himself from kissing her teary eyes.

He looked at her hair, and there was a streak of blackish red in her parted hairline.

He shot up on bed. Dull rays of morning sun entered through the misty, blurry glass of the sliding door and French window. Birds' chirping entered in his ears, like a cadent cacophony. He sighed. He never slept this much peacefully. But, why did he saw her in his dream? But the dream was indeed beautiful and boosted him for the day.

He jumped out of the bed, pulled down a hoodie over his head and jogged down the garden of tall trees with his camera. Much to his amusement, many unknown species of birds flocked in and around the trees, and je clicked their pic to hearts content, until the sun was out, giving away scorching heat.

'Good morning master', Dandi joined him while jogging, 'There are less birds here than Panchghani.. But, we cannot expect even these in the city of Kolkata.'

'Yeah, actually this place is calmer than Kolkata', Omkara jogged back to his house.

Dandi nodded in agreement while jogging beside him.

'Do you remember the girl from last evening? Who collided with me?', Omkara asked while walking in.

'Yes master, why?', Dandi furrowed his brows in tension.

'I saw her in my dream. A very, very intimate dream', Omkara smiled dreamily, as if he was watching the lady again in person.

Its no surprise, Dandi thought with a poker face, After all, you spent so much intimate moments together, there is no offence if you remember those moments in your dreams.

But he said, 'I guess you like her very much, master.'

Omkara smiled back, 'Much to love her.'
