Mimi and Shruti were walking down the street, which had old dull painted vintage looking houses on its both sides, the road was absolutely empty and only the faint footsteps of the girls could be heard. The sun was still up hiding behind the dark gray clouds. Though the wind was blowing a bit too heavy that day, there were no signs of rain.

Shruti's phone buzzed and she looked over her phone's screen, "Hey, my mum said my bus is delayed by an hour."

"Oh, then come over to my house, since it's more safe to wait for your bus in my place then waiting in that scary rusty bus stop. My uncle will drop you off in the bus stop afterwards." Mimi said, licking her popsicle that was still half left.

"Which uncle?"

"The third one."

"Seriously, how many uncles do you really have? Also, please don't mind my words but that ice cream seller looks more like your grandpa then your uncle!" Shruti said with an annoyed tone. Figuring out Mimi's family was still a huge task for Shruti and she still had a lot to know about the huge family tree of the Roys. "You always confuse me with your uncles and aunts."

Mimi furrowed her brows as she shook her head, "Ah, your brain really works so slow, how many times do I have to tell you that my father were three brothers and sisters and that ice cream vendor is the eldest of them all while my father is the youngest of all of them that's why it's obvious that he would be old now. He's probably more than fifteen years older than my father alone."

"Oh, right... " Shruti pursed her lips realizing how much idiotic she sounded before, "You all live together in a joint family, right?"

"Yeah, all my aunts have been married but all my uncles, and their wifes and children live together with us. It's really very cool, we live in a huge mansio—" Mimi stopped mid way, her smile disappearing, as a faint whistle blew across the street giving shivers down Shruti's neck, they both recognized the sound and looked up to their left, an old building stood in that direction, the building had a money plant grow all over it like a veil, the house looked dead, on top of it, in the balcony a middle aged man was standing leaning his weight against the wall and his hands criss-crossed together, his hollow eyes had deep dark circles around it and his eye sockets were red probably due to some drug that he was in taking, there were slight facial hair over his cheeks and it looked like many days has passed since he has last taken a bath.

"Oh, Mimi, the way you suck on that popsicle turns me on so much, why don't you come someday and suck my popsicle just the way you're sucking that one, mine is bigger and more juicier, I bet you'll love the taste of it more than the one you're licking now." The man said, his red eyes scanning the bodies of the girls with a sadistic grin.

"What the fuck, this fucking bastard again." Shruti mumbled under her breath as she curled her hand into a fist with rage.

Mimi took a step ahead keeping Shruti behind her as she clenching her jaw gave the man a direct eye contact and the man felt as if she was looking in her soul, he lightly gasped and Mimi said, "Sure Bhimu, the idea of deep frying your penis and sprinkling it with salt and pepper makes my mouth watery too. It makes me so hungry that I feel like biting it off your hip right now and eat it raw. I bet your blood will be sweet like berries too." Mimi said, gulping the saliva that formed in her mouth and wiped her mouth. Bhimu's grin widened, "I'm always ready, come any day and I will serve it to you right away."

Shruti was witnessing all this with a scared look. She couldn't believe Mimi could be so bold but the expression on Mimi's face was so desperate as if she meant it. She wasn't too surprised by the weird comments of Mimi tho. She was just like her uncle, indeed.

"What the fuck Mimi, you're making my stomach turn upside down, if you don't stop now then I won't be able to eat dinner tonight." Shruti held Mimi's hand and dragged her away. Mimi still didn't break her eye contact with Bhimu. While he stared at her like a dog in heat, there was a different emotion in Mimi's eyes for a split second before she looked away and disappeared in the corner of the street with Shruti.

'And I thought that just her uncle was weird!'  Shruti thought with a mental facepalm.
