"PIT! I DON'T THINK NOW IS THE TIME TO BE FASHIONABLE"

Y/N banged on the angel's door, "But I need to get ready!" came the protest from the other side. Y/n rolled her eyes in annoyance "Well, I'm still in my pyjamas!" she said looking down at her black rompers.

Pit's bedroom door burst open, almost slapping Y/N in the face. "I'm ready!" Pit said, balling his fists, a determined look on his face "Now where's Hade-"

"HELLO, Pitty-pat!"

Pit screamed and grabbed Y/N, but then quickly covered it up with a cough. The two turned around and saw two pitch-black eyes peering at them through the window. Y/N's heart started beating faster, Hades was just outside Palutena's temple, watching them.

 Hades grinned "I'd say you two made a good couple," he continued "But it's too bad you won't live another day."

Pit and Y/N shout at him at the same time. "WE ARE NOT A COUPLE!!" Y/N yelled at him "YES WE ARE!" Pit glared at the god of death. As if on cue, both Hades and Y/N stared at the angel, surprised by his response. 

Pit cleared his throat to hide the blush slowly creeping up his cheeks "What are you doing here, Hades?" he said, his voice firm despite his embarrassing moment a few seconds before. Hades tapped his fingers, causing the whole temple to shake slightly.

Y/N shielded her eyes from the plaster falling from the ceiling, Hades drawled "Oh... I don't know." he said in an exaggerated voice "Maybe here to bring my servant back?" he pointed a lazy finger towards Y/N "Oh yeah- And to take over the world!" he added.

Y/N groaned "Jeez, Hades! Take a freaking hint!" she put her hands on her hips "I don't want to go back! So you can go back inside that hell hole that you just crawled out of!" she threw him a defiant look 

"I did not just fight a freaking snake-lion-goat monster and hit my friend on the head with a stick to escape jail just to let you come and take me back again!" Y/N said, shuddering at the vivid memory of the chimera.

"Too bad, reaper!" Hades said, purposely using her nickname. As he said this, an evil grin spread across his fave and he reached a giant hand through the marble pillars, towards Y/N. Before Y/N had time to run, Pit grabbed her firmly by the wrist and pulled her towards him, breaking into a run.

"Why can't he just go home?!" Pit wailed, the many doors of the castle passing quickly through the corners of his eyes. Y/N wasn't even listening because she had just realised something terrible.

The oar was still in her room.

"Pit, I forgot the oar!" She yelled at him, Pit glanced at her for a split second "We can't go back now, you'll get caught!" he said in between pants "We'll have to go back for it later!" Y/N was tempted to disagree, but she knew he was right. 

'Where is freaking Palutena when you need her?!' Y/N screamed in her head. She turned to look back down the hallway, Hades wasn't there. Y/N had read enough horror stories to know that this was not a good sign.

As if on cue, Hades's hand burst through the wall in front of them, from the right side. This caused the temple to shake once again, as if it were being shaken from the roots. Pit held onto Y/N to make sure she didn't fall, but Pit himself slipped on some stray plaster and fell. Hades took this chance to try and grab at the pair.

"Y/N GO!" Pit pushed her away from him "LADY PALUTENA WILL SAVE ME!" He yelled, still retaining his loyalty for his precious goddess. 

Y/N considered turning to run, what would she do if she ever got caught again? Y/N kicked herself for even thinking such a thing. As if she'd let Pit play the hero once again.

"Shut up, cupid!" she said instead and turned to Hades "Hey! Frat boy! Come and get me if you can!" she taunted him, waving her hands in the air. Pit and Hades looked at her incredulously. Hades glared at her "Frat boy?! Really, Y/N?" he said, though he wouldn't admit it, it had really struck a nerve.

Hades reached out from the other side with his left hand, Pit realising Y/N's plan stood up, quietly. The temple rumbled once again, groaning under the weight of the impact. This time, Pit held onto the wall for support, he had finally learned something.

Now they were cornered, Y/N realised with a chill. Hades smirked "Curiosity killed the cat." Y/N rolled her eyes "But you can't grab us either." she pointed out. Hades raised a brow "Can't I?" he said with a grin and a third hand snaked its way in front of the pillars.

Y/N quickly looked around, wondering how to escape this situation. Pit finally used his last braincells and pointed behind her "A door!" he yelled, and just as Hades's third hand came crashing in, Pit had yanked the door open and dragged Y/N inside with him.

Hades's hand caused the ceiling to cave in, blocking the door and the window. Y/N covered her ears, trying to shut out the crumbling of marble and plaster. Once it had stopped, she hesitantly removed her hands, Pit smiled at her "I think it's over," he said softly.

A chandelier dropped to the ground right next to them.

Y/N chuckled, jump scared by what had just transpired "Is it?" she said sarcastically. Pit, because of his loving nature, decided to ignore this remark. He looked around "I think we're trapped." he he rubbed his arm.

Y/N glared at him "No, we're running free through a meadow!" she snapped at him. Pit recoiled "You look tense." he said cautiously. Y/N gritted her teeth "Do I?" 

Pit put a hand on her shoulder "We'll get through this together! Don't worry, Pittoo, Lady Palutena and I are here to help you!"

Y/N gestured to the pile of rubble sarcastically "Can the power of friendship get us through concrete?"
