Titan's POV~

I postured up my shoulders, rolling each of them in their sockets as I let out a snort. Goliath landed on the other side of the group of thugs, teeth bared and eyes glowing.

After their initial shock, the thugs—surprisingly settled down—the leader of the group, grinned smugly, "Hey, look, it's those Gargoyle creatures. . ." He chuckled sinisterly, hoisting up a crowbar in his hand, a grin spreading across his features. I hunched my shoulders, my wings flaring as Goliath stood beside her, glancing down at her, "Remember, we do not kill humans." He said with a growl.

My shoulders slumped as I turned my head and glared at him, "Doesn't mean I can't maim them." I extended my claws, growling lowly. Goliath gave me a sidelong look, before he yelped as he was struck upside the head with a trash can lid. I stared in shock before whipping around and catching an incoming pipe wielded by one of the thugs. I bared my sharpened teeth, huffing as I postured up, spreading my wings a little bit. One of the thugs charged at me, going to strike me with a wide hay-maker punch. I stepped back, the fist passing me by. I returned it with an open palm slap, which sent the human flying into the opposite wall of the alleyway. I huffed and turned to Goliath who stood up, wiping some blood from his nose, "That hurt. . ."

"You got struck in the head with a crowbar, what did you expect?" I retorted as I picked up the last guy by the scruff of his neck and threw him out into the street.

The other thugs ran after their buddy, before all of them took off screaming and crying. I crossed my arms over my chest, unamused, "This is the evil of the city? I am not impressed."

Goliath sighed, rubbing his face where a cut was, no doubt from the same blow that gave him the bloody nose, "Most of the true danger of this city has been defeated. . . A long time ago. Xanatos was one, now he is our ally, Proteus, but he is in prison on New Olympus-"

"New Olympus?" I interrupted.

"I'll explain more later." He said as he walked closer to me, "Regardless, since the defeat of the Quarrymen, muggings and car-jackings are the worst we have to face these days, and I am grateful for it." He then looked me over, "Are you hurt?"

I shook my head, "No, merely some scrapes." I then spoke, "So, shall we head back?"

Goliath reached his hand out to me, "Indeed."

I glanced down at his hand for a brief moment, hesitating, before I reached out and let my hand slide into his, "Let's head on home, then."
