Itsuki (POV)
Kimimaru- You shouldn't be making brash statements like that when you can't follow through.
Naruto- Just shut up!
Naruto's clones rush in and let shurikens rain down upon Kimimaru. He simply cuts them in half out of the air.
Naruto- How did he do that?
Kimimaru- I already told you. This piece of bone is harder than steel. Maybe you would like me to demonstrate just how strong it is.
We all rush in at each other. Kimimaru cuts down naruto's clones left and right. I come in and leap into the air. I front flip and come down with a right foot stomp but he blocks it with the flat of his bone blade.
Itsuki *mind*- Damn this thing is solid.
I springboard off my sword and faze back into the sea of Naruto clones to prepare my next move.
Kaito (POV)
All three creatures come for us at once.
Shikamaru- Here they come.
The creature with the club smashes down on us but we leap away last second. The look up at us and begin to open up their stitched mouths.
Kaito- I don't like this.
Their mouths open completely and these weird things shoot out.

The come for us as we try to escape. We maneuver in the air but one of them gets Shikamaru's arm and another gets my leg and it takes a physical representation of my energy away from me. We land and shikamaru throws some shuriken at them but they go right through. I pull out a couple smoke bombs and shikamaru takes out a couple paper bombs and we set them off right before they attacked us. We managed to hide thanks to that distraction.
Kaito- Ok shikamaru. What's the plan?
Shikamaru- Physical attacks don't work. These things are more like apparitions with very little mass. They're chakra itself but with an appetite. Probably some kind of chakra that draws it form from eating mental energy. That's why they crave physical energy. It keeps them stable. If we scuffle with those things much longer, we won't be able to build up our own chakra. They're pretty dangerous. A ninja who can create special chakra like myself? She must be using some kind of obscure ninjitsu. Which means we should leave those ghost things alone and concentrate on the one controlling them. The quickest way would be to go and stop the sound of her flute. But with those things around, even with us two it's impossible to get close enough.
Kaito- Okay so what's plan B?
Shikamaru- The next best option would be to capture those three with my Shadow Possession Jutsu. But that's not gonna happen since they never attack us at the same moment. If I let even one escape, he'd get to me and that would be it and then you'd fall next. She hasn't left us any openings except for when you surprised attacked while she was focused on me. Other than that, she's been spot on on defense and offense. Heh. She must be a pretty good Shougi player. Let's see, my remaining ninja tools are twelve kunai knives, nine shuriken, thirty six feet of wire, one flash bomb and one paper bomb. You?
Kaito- I got just as much as you. Maybe a little less.
Shikamaru- Oh man. It's like playing Shougi without any bishops or rooks.
He gets in his thinking stance and begins to think.
Kaito *mind*- I hope you come up with something good or else we're done for.
After a couple minutes, he opens his eyes and has a slight grin on his face.
Shikamaru- It's time.
He begins wrapping kunai on his wire and he tells me my part of the plan.
Shikamaru- Everything is just about ready. The only thing left is to just get it over with. We've got nine moves. We've got to win by then. Game on.
He throws a kunai with a paper bomb attached to it. It hits a tree in front of her and it goes off. We proceed to move while she comes out of the smoke and lands on another tree branch. Little did she know, I threw a flash bomb attached to a kunai right above her.
Kaito- That's two.
Shikamaru throws a regular kunai at Tayuya.
Shikamaru- Three.
The blindfolded one comes in and blocks it. As expected she sends another creature towards our previous position. Once it got there, I activated the fourth move which is a kunai that gets slingshoted at Tayuya by a bendy branch. The same blindfolded creature blocks the kunai again. Shikamaru does the next four moves by sending four more kunais which are all blocked by the blindfolded one. We expose ourselves on a branch across from Tayuya. She sees us and sends all three creatures at us.
Kaito- Nine.
I throw another kunai at the string holding the flash bomber and it falls. It goes off and shikamaru begins using his Shadow Possession Jutsu.
Shikamaru- Shadow Possession Jutsu complete.
Tayuya- But how?! How were you able to predict my guys' movements? There's no way people like you two could have heard the slight differences in my musical pattern.
Kaito- We didn't. We just used it based off your fingers. Never underestimate your opponent pinky.
