Kaito (POV)
Tayuya plays her flute again but the creatures don't move at all.
Shikamaru- Don't even try. They're bound to my Shadow Possession Jutsu. There's one rule of Shougi that I always enjoyed the most. Whenever you capture one of your enemy's pieces you can turn around and use it as your own. From here on, we attack. I'll use your own three pieces and Kaito will use his sword and we will hunt you down. What do you have to say about that?
She just smirks.
Kaito- Shouldn't you be a little bit more worried pinky?
Shikamaru- Right? I mean she could at least pull a knife out or something.
Tayuya- This flute is my only weapon. I told you both that not one person has survived hearing this flute idiots.
Kaito- Not backing down are? I really do like that in a woman.
Shikamaru, myself and the three creatures leap to Tayuya.
Tayuya- Dispel!
The creatures poof away in white smoke. I go through the smoke and do a downward slash to Tayuya. She cartwheels to the left to avoid it. She comes to kick me but I stop it with the flat of my blade. She uses my blade as a stepping stone and front flip heel kicks me on the top of my head. She follows up with a right hook to my cheek and I get sent back to shikamaru.
Tayuya- What was all that talk about using my own pieces against me and hunting me down?
Shikamaru- Awh man.
Tayuya- It's my move now you rats! Huh?!
She can't move and I get a grin on my face.
Shikamaru- Shadow Possession Jutsu is a success.
Tayuya- But how?
Kaito- Always have a contingency plan. You were too distracted with yours truly that you didn't see Shikamaru's Jutsu coming. Sucks to suck.
Tayuya- You bastards.
Kaito- Uh huh. Sure.
The curse mark lines on her start to cover more of her body. Her skin turns grey and her hair gets longer. Her beanie comes off as horns come out of her head.

Shikamaru- What's this? She changed.
Tayuya- Up until this point, you guys thought pretty sharp as fighters. But from here on, things won't we going your way.
She begins to move on her own despite being captured in the Shadow Possession Jutsu.
Kaito *mind*- No way. Just what is this girl?
And what is this overwhelming chakra coming from her? Shikamaru's Jutsu isn't going to hold out.
Shikamaru- I'm using my other Jutsu. Ninja Art: Shadow Strangle Jutsu.
Shadow hands begin to travel up Tayuya's body.
Tayuya- I am not letting you two beat me.
She muscles her flute to her mouth and begins to play. Suddenly the world withers away and is replaced by a desolate red barren wasteland.
Chains wrap around my arms and legs and I'm brought down to my knees. The chains lift my arms up until I'm T posing.
Kaito *mind*- I can't move. What's happening?
I look to my left arm to see my skin melting off my bone. I can't help but let out a scream.
Tayuya (POV)
I watch as they both scream as they are trapped in my Genjutsu.
Tayuya- Tell me, how does it feel to be trapped like rats?
I leap over to the this two and grab Kaito's sword. I edge it close to his neck.
Tayuya *mind*- As much as I don't want to, I have too. But is this really the right thing to do?  Do I really want to risk the mission so that he may live? Do I like this guy?
I'm suddenly brouhaha out of my thoughts as kaito shoots you from his position and headbutts me in the jaw. I stagger but he grabs my arm and tosse me to Shikamaru who nails me with a gut punch.
Tayuya- Wait but how did you?
I look to Shikamaru's hand to see he broke his finger with his shadow.

Kaito- As for me, I just bit my lip.
Tayuya- You used pain to get out of my Genjutsu? You were just pretending!
His shadow hands begin to choke me.
Shikamaru- With the Shadow Strangle Jutsu, the closer I am to my opponent, the stronger my hold on that person will be.
Tayuya- Damn it. I got careless and came too close.
Shikamaru- No that's not what did it. It was actually something that you said earlier. About how your only weapon was the flute. Don't you remember?
Kaito- Oh damn. We caught you slipping. Tsk tsk tsk. In the words of my friend Itsuki, checkmate.
