In every battle there is a ruler who could be King, Queen or nobles and soldiers. But in all battles there is a vast majority of people who will never have any part or profit in it while some are  even unaware of the impending battle. These  group of people are called the commoners. One such person was Annapurna Durga Prasad Maheswari who always is a mere bystander and as her name suggests her identity is also associated with her husband.
She respects her husband which has bound her and tied her hands to take any step against her husband.

But today, she has no choice she wants to bring her eldest son and today she almost fought against her husband and cried to bring her son.
While her husband today looked like a lost man as if in a trance told her there is  a feeling that every thing is not what it seems. But when  she insisted on bringing Sanskar he has no choice to bring him. Annapurna was glad Sanskar  doesn't seem to lose much weight though he seemed to be tanned a little but Annapurna was sure if Sanskar stayed indoor then he will start glowing like before. Most importantly he also  has recognized them when they went to take him but what pained the mother in her the most was the torn clothes, dark circles under his eyes and his eyes showed deep hurt and remorse and when Annapurna asked Sanskar " How are you , beta?"

Sanskar said " As you have done to me  , nobody loves me."
It was painful for a mother to hear such a word as a son can forget about love but how a mother can forget the love she felt.

So, he was brought home and seeing him looking at the house melancholic way brought so many memories. As if like a swirl of wind everything  came rushing in.

Sanskar- " Ma , I am so happy I am in love "  As Sanskar swirled Annapurna their sweet laugh echoed across the  hall.

Annapurna - " Did you told anyone else about it. Just be a little tight lipped about it"

Sanskar - "of course I told my .. . Why??"

Annapurna - " Don't tell it to anyone till I talk to your bade Papa"

Sanskar - " But Ma what is wrong with  her she is beautiful and educated "

Annapurna " Everything doesn't start with beauty or education. There is something else which is needed too ."

That was last time he had seen Sanskar so happy and overwhelmed. After that as if this house become a corpse nobody laughed till laksh met with another Bengali girl. Somewhere, she feared that history is going to repeat itself.

Annapurna wanted to take Sanskar out and also change the sourness which have swept in their relationship.

Annapurna - " Sanskar , My son let's go out for some time."

At that time she saw hurt as well hidden anger in the eyes and it reminded her of the little Sanskar she used to love and adore. She was overwhelmed with many emotions but an thought crossed her mind just for a second but she rubbished it as overthinking .

Everything was going smoothly as she thought but she never knew it was just the calm before the storm.
