Im in a room , waiting for this so called ' important man' . I'm seated in front a desk , facing an empty chair . Suddenly, a door beside the chair open's , revealing a middle aged man , his hair grey with bags under his eyes , as if he haven't slept in days .

" Hi Beth , I am Kevin Anderson , chancellor of this amazing and successful building! ," He says , trying to sound cheerful.

" Nice to meet you ," i say politely .

" Okay , lets get to business," He says," Do you miss your parents? ," He asks with no sympathy in his voice. 

The smile on my face instantly drops . Whats wrong with this man? Why would he ask such a mean question? Of course I missed my parents!

I just stared at him.

   " Well i miss mine ," He says ," and i remember them very clearly , My mom was a very kind ,caring and a loving mother and my dad was strong and responsible , He was the best dad ever!

" Once ," He continues as if i wasn't even there ,"I couldn't sleep, so my mom gave me a worm hug and sang me a song , so I could fall a sl-

"So," i cut him of," Yeah i remember my parents , why are u telling me this ? so i feel bad?," I yelled .

" Yes! ," he says ," Yes Beth, that is exactly what im trying to do, so you know how important it is for you to agree....

" Agree? ," I ask," Agree to what."

" Im making you an offer Beth," He smiled , in a very creepy way ,"An  offer to work with us , be apart of W.I.C.K.E.D, be one of us, someone important . Beth , we could make history together and cure the flare!. So what do you say?

" Okay ," I say , being sick of kept in the dark ," What do you want me to do? 

" Not today , today get some good night sleep ," He says ," I want you fresh and awake tomorrow!.

I walk out of his office and go straight to bed. The boys will have to wait.................
