The girl had been waiting in the cave alone.
Through the various cracks of the dark, mossy stone,
Several creepers had stealthily grown,
Just like the girl from the mountain hut.

Three days have passed since she left the house.
She hid away in the cave, her presence meek like a mouse.
She slept lightly. Even a small sound would arouse,
The sleepy girl from the mountain hut.

It was raining heavily on the fourth day.
The once blue sky was now silvery grey.
Every cloud has a silver lining, they say.
Was it the same for the girl from the mountain hut?

It soon became foggy all around.
The rolling thunder was the only sound.
She felt uneasy sitting on the cold ground.
Cold, was the girl from the mountain hut.

Soon, a figure emerged from the misty haze.
Against the lightning's fleeting blaze,
She recognized that familiar face.
"You're here," said the girl from the mountain hut.

Seth hurried over to her side.
The shivering cold figure in the dark, he eyed.
With the blankets he got, he tried
To warm up the girl from the mountain hut.

The girl reached out her hand, glowing green.
The creeping flowers which could be seen,
Soon formed at the entrance of a cave, a screen.
It was the doing of the girl from the mountain hut.

Both were tired, and it was already night.
Sharing the blankets, they came closer, and slept tight.
Just for once, no frights. Just for that one night–
Nothing disturbed him and the girl from the mountain hut.
