Khizar's POV.

We all were seated silently waiting for the doctor to come out and tell us about Hafsa's condition. None of us was saying or asking something. We were silent on our places but with many thoughts running on our minds.

I was quite, disturbed,tangled with the incidents that took place in my life all of sudden one by one. I never knew nor even thought that some girl will do this for me. To take her life for me.

"How's my sister now?" I came out of my thoughts as I heard Rehan's voice.

"She's fine now. After two days,she came to her conscious. But she's out of danger. There will be weakness because of blood loss but she's fine now. You can meet her." Said the Doctor and went away while Khala with Rehan and Haya entered the ward but I keep seated there thinking what to do.

"Hey." I looked up on the voice and saw Harib standing.

"Hi." I said standing up.

"How's she now?" He asked and I just gave a nod in answer.

I was not understanding what to say. How to say anything about the girl who tried to die because of me. Because of my love that she didn't want to live.

"Don't think too much." I looked up on the voice of Harib and nodded while he just sighed.

"Everything will be okay." His words didn't work today.

I was not feeling good. I was feeling guilty. I was stuck,tangled, distracted, confused, worried.

"Bhai." I looked at Rehan who just came out of the room.

"We should take aapi home now?" He asked and I nodded.

"I'm just going to do paper work. Harib could you please call a taxi." I said to Harib who gave a nod while I went to reception for the discharge formalities.

Its had been two days that she was in the hospital and I was not getting courage to see her or talk to her. Somewhere, I was considering myself responsible for her this condition. As the paper work was done,I walked back toward the room absentminded, lost in my own thoughts.

"Taxi is here." Harib came before I could reach the room.

"Okay." I said and took a deep breath and entered the ward.

My eyes went to her who was looking so pale laying on the bed.

"Khala Taxi is here." I said looking at khala and again my eyes went to to her who was not looking at me.

"We are coming." I heard khala's reply and nodded.

Turning back,I roamed in the corridor while running my fingers in my hair frustratedly.

"You okay?" Asked Harib but I was not in the condition to answer him.

"I'll tell you later." I said and walked out without waiting for them all.

"Ya Allah help me." I whispered looking at the sky.

"Khizar." I turned on the voice and saw Harib coming with Rehan and Haya.

Khala and Hafsa were behind them. She looked at me once and then looked away like she was angry with me. They all settled down in the taxi while I took my bike to ride to home.

"Why are you looking so worried?" Asked Harib.

"I'm so confused and somewhere I'm feeling guilty." I said looking at the road on which I was riding my bike.

"Don't think too much. Meet me at cafe. We'll talk okay." He said and I nodded.

Dropping him near his home,I rode to home. Hafsa was taken to her room. Khala went to take some rest while I went to my room to relax my tangled mind and heart. Throwing my Mobile on bed,I went to washroom to wash my face. As I entered, I saw new washed towel was hanging there with new face wash soap.

"Khala." The love for Khala increased in my heart more that how much she took care of me.

I decided to have a shower. I took a long shower to relax my mind where the complex situation and incidents were going on making my thoughts more tangle. Wearing my trouser,I stepped out of the washroom with the towel drying my hair but stopped when I saw a cup placed on the side table of my bed. I went closer and saw green tea was filled in the cup. Touching the cup,I felt it hot that meant someone just placed it for me.

Taking my shirt out of the wardrobe I stepped out of the room,wearing my shirt in the way to see the person.

"What happened Khizar?" I stopped on the stairs when khala asked.

"Khala that green tea...that..." I was not understanding what to ask.

"I placed it there. You were showering so I just placed it there for you. Why? What happened?" Asked Khala and I was lost in my thoughts.

But khala went to have rest right!??

I thought again but didn't say anything.

"Nothing just..I'll take some rest." I said and she nodded.

I walked back to my room and sat on my bed while taking the cup of green tea. Sipping the green tea, I was still thinking about the incidents that happened to me. The shadow girl, Hafsa,suicide attempt and now this green tea. I was not understanding what to do and what not.

"I have to stop thinking for now." Saying,I lay back as my head start paining as hell.

"Khizar." As I was about to lay down, I heard someone calling me.

"Yes." Turning my head toward her who was standing at the entrance of my room,I said.

"Come." I said as I stepped down from bed and straighten my shirt.

"Sorry to disturb you." She said politely.

"That's okay." I said looking at her once and then looked down like she was looking.

"We forgot to bring Hafsa's medicines. Could you bring them!?" She asked and I looked up at her who was looking at me.

"Haya you should just have to say not to request for any work. I'll bring it." I said taking the prescription from her but I return the money she was holding.

"No need of money. I'll bring the medicines." I said and she nodded.

"You okay?" On her sudden question,I looked at her.

"Yes why!?" I asked as my heart beat for a second strangely.

"No your eyes are so red so that's why I asked." She answered and looked down.

"Actually I'm having a strong headache. That's why." I answered and she nodded.

"Oh take rest then. I'll be going now." She said stepping back and then went out of the room closing the door and I sat down on bed.

"Sleep Khizar." Sighing,I placed the prescription aside and lay back while covering myself with blanket.

Closing my eyes,I tried to forget everything and found some peace for my mind and heart.

Hafsa's POV.

"How are you now?" Asked Sonia from other side and I turned to left side.

"How I'm!? Good." I said closing my eyes.

"How was the drama then? Any progress?" She asked and my eyes opened up.

"Not now but I know I'll get the good result. Just wait and I can see him running toward me." I said with a smile.

"Just to get him how much blood I lost. Two bottles of blood." I said looking at my wrist.

"Oh but it will be worth when you'll get Khizar." Said Sonia and I nodded with a smile.

"Just wait Sonia. I can see him getting crazy for me." I said and laughed.

"I'm waiting for the time when he'll be asking that will you marry me Hafsa!" I said while trued to hide my laughter.

"He'll ask soon." Said Sonia with a laugh from other side.

"He have to. I did all this only to get him. Now I won't let anyone cone between us. I'll snatch him." I said and smiled on the plan I had made.

"Best of luck." Said Sonia.

"Thank you. Bye talk to you later." I said and cut the call while laying straight on bed.

"Khizar hurry up. Come to me." I said with a smile and laughed to myself.

Khizar's POV.

Waking up from my sleep,I felt so fresh and relax. My all nerve were calm and I was not feeling any pain in my head. I looked at the clock to check the time. Just two hour ago, I slept but I was feeling so fresh unusually. Touching my forehead,I felt some balm on it.

"Who apply it?" I asked myself and touched my forehead.

"Did Hafsa come here when I was sleeping?" I asked again and shook my head as no.

"How can she. She's not well." I said and pushed the blanket away.

"It must be my khala. Haya may have told her about my headache and she applied balm on my forehead." I said to myself and assuring,I stepped down from bed and went to freshen up as I had to go to meet Harib who must be waiting for me in Cafe.

Changing into my other dress,I walked out of the room with my bike keys and mobile. As I stepped in hall, I saw khala with Haya and Rehan seated.

"How's Hafsa now?" I asked going closer to Khala.

"She's fine now but I have to talk to you Khizar." Khala looked at me and I could see in her eyes what she wanted to ask.

Kneeling down in front of her,I held her hands and took few seconds to say something.

"I know what you want to ask and I'll tell you everything but just give me sometime. Something I have to figure out. I'll talk to you when I'll return." I said looking at her and she nodded.

"I'll be back soon." I said kissing her hands and walked toward my bike and took it out of the house.

Today Khala didn't come to see off me like she did always. I could understand that she was worried for Hafsa. I didn't turn to see anyone but still I felt someone following me.

"My Khala." I whispered as I know only she could be the one following me to see off me under the protection of Holy Verses.

I smiled more and felt blessed to have her love that forgetting her daughter's pain, she came to see off me. But I didn't turn to see her and started my bike. I could feel the air blew on me. With a smile, I rode my bike toward cafe where Harib was waiting for me.

Parking the bike,I went inside the cafe and looked around to find him.

"Khizar." Turning on the voice, I looked at the direction where Harib was seated waving his hand to call me.

I walked to him and sat in front of him.

"So!?" He asked and I sighed without saying anything.

"Should I order coffee?" He asked and I gave a nod while placing my mobile on the table.

"Two latte please." He ordered and turned to me again.

"So what are you thinking now?" He asked and I looked at him.

"Tell me what should I think? I don't know what to do. I'm so confused." I said leaning back on the chair.

"What she said before cutting her wrist?" He asked and all that day reminded to me.

"She said she can't see me with with someone else. She can't see me marrying someone else." I said and closed my eyes for a second.

"You think she's telling a truth? I mean you think she did this because she loves you!?" He asked and I looked at him.

"She's the girl who said she loves me. She's the one who tried to die for me and more of it she's my shadow girl." I said looking at him who was listening to me.

"Yes your shadow girl!" He said but I felt he mocked the words.

"What you want to say? She's not the girl I'm considering her. I'm so much confused so please don't confused me more." I said frustrated with my own feelings.

"If you're confused then reach on a decision." He said leaning on the table while fixing his eyes on me.

"You think Hafsa is your shadow girl. She loves you even she can die for you then what's there making so confuse?" He said and I startled on his question.

"That..I..I.." I tried to figure out the answer.

"What you? First find what your heart wants. What you actually feels. Does your heart want Hafsa to be yours?" On his question, my mind stopped.

"You have to decide now that what you want. After what happened your khala would ask a lot questions and you have to answer them. So think what you want." He said and I was just stuck on his question he was asking.

"Khizar what you want?" He asked and I looked at him

"I..I..don't know. Khala wants me to marry and there's a girl who loves me and can't live without me. If I have to marry them why can't it be..!" I stopped and looked at him.

"Be?" He asked and I closed my eyes as I felt something strange happening in my heart.

"Hafsa. I'm thinking to accept her love." I said as I opened my eyes and looked at him who leaned back on the chair on my answer.

"So you have decided to marry your Shadow girl Hafsa?" He asked and I nodded as I reach on a decision.

"I can't let her cry for her whole life just because of my love. She's the first girl who said that she loves me. And want me to be her companion. Why shouldn't I do it?" I asked looking up at him.

"Okay then do it." On his words,I startled and somewhere get shocked.

He approved!?

"Really!?" I asked and saw him smiling.

"You took the decision and you yourself not sure of it to marry your shadow girl." He said and I looked away.

"My shadow girl." I said strangely.

"Yes your shadow girl who loves you so much that for you she can do anything. Anything that can bring a smile to your lips,peace to your heart, happiness in your life." He said and I looked at him shocked.

Who he was talking about?

"Who you are talking about?" I asked leaning on table while placing my elbows on it.

"Hafsa Your Shadow girl. You said na she loves you." He said and took the coffee to drink and I nodded tangled with my own thoughts.

"Khizar don't think so much. Just let it happen. Everything will take you to the right way." He said and I nodded and took the coffee to drink.

"Let's go." He said and paid the bill while we both walked out of the cafe.

"Khala wants to talk to me and I know what she want to ask." I said as I started the bike.

"Do you think Hafsa told khala about her love for you?" Harib asked and I shook my head in negative.

"I don't think so but now I have to tell everything to khala and also what I decide." I said while riding the bike toward Harib's house.

"Okay and do tell me what khala said." He said and I just remained silent.

"I'm scared what if khala took me wrong." I said stopping the bike in front of Harib's house.

"She won't. Just think about it. I told you everything will take you to true love." Harib said and I nodded.

"Okay buddy now take care and see you tomorrow." I said while hugging him and he walked to his house while I rode back to home where khala was waiting for me.

As I stepped in the house,I saw all seated in compound silently. Rehan was seated silently and today he was not watching TV. I could feel the tense atmosphere of the house. Parking the bike in,I closed the door and went to Khala who was looking at the ground mat on which she was seated. I sat in front of her and held her hands in mine.

"What is making you so worried?" I asked and khala looked up at me.

"Why did she do this?" Khala asked and I knew she was asking about Hafsa.

"And what was she doing in your room at that time?" Asked Khala and I looked down embarrassed.

"You believe me!?" I asked the question before I answer her questions.

"I trust you Khizar." Said Khala which brought a smile on my face.

"Thank you for trusting me." I said and took a deep breath before I continue.

"Hafsa came to my room that night." I started with much courage.

"Why?" Khala asked and I looked down.

"Telling me that she'll die if I marry someone else." Finally I said and looked up at her who was shocked like I was first.

"She said she loves me and if I have to marry then why can't it be her who loves me a lot and now I think..!" I paused scared of my own words I was about to say.

"What you thought?" Asked Khala curiously.

"I think she's right. If you want to see me married then why shouldn't I choose the girl who loves me and can die for me." Finally I said and was looking at her who was shocked on what I said.

"Khala I want to marry Hafsa who loves me." I said looking in her eyes where the tears brimmed up.

"Khizar." Taking my name, Khala cried and hugged me.

"Thank you son." Said Khala and I sighed in relieve as she was not angry but accepted what I said.

"Bless you son. I'm so happy with your decision." Khala said moving back and I wiped her tears.

"Don't cry." I said looking at her who smiled.

"I want to talk to Hafsa." I said and she nodded with a smile.

"Go talk to her and I'm going to bring sweets for this happy news." Khala said happily while getting up.

"Wait let me talk to her first." I said and she nodded giving me permission to see Hafsa.

I turned and walked toward her room. I was arranging the words in my mind that what I had to say. Knocking on the door,I entered the room and looked at her who was seated on bed.

"Assalam-o-alikum." I said stepping ahead.

"Walikumusalam." She said while covering her head with dupatta and I looked down.

"How are you now?" I asked taking seat on the chair in front of her.

"I'm fine now." She replied to my question and I was thinking where to start.

"Why?" I asked and looked  at her who was confused on my question.

"Why did you do this?" I asked pointing toward her cutted wrist.

"You don't know why I did this?" She asked instead of answering me.

"I want to know again." I said looking at her.

"I won't say." She replied and looked down.

I keep looking at her who was playing with her fingers. I thought for a second and nodded on my thought.

"You said you love me and want to marry me?" I asked and she nodded as an answer.

"So will you marry me Hafsa?" I asked and she looked up shocked.
