The Girl Who Knew

Prologue

My story starts here. I was born. Though my parents didn't love each other. They love me, and that's all that matters. I was supposed to be the little angel my parents had wished for, but I wasn't.

Chapter 1

My mom stared at my dad. Her eyes didn't look happy. I heard yelling and then silence. I started to cry thinking I wasn't supposed to hear what they said to each other. I was in bed crying myself to sleep. I wanted my parents to love each other. I wanted them to be together because they loved each other. Not just for loving me. I'm not the best person but I'm always given the benefit of the doubt because I'm young. I know I'm terrible at these things. I go to school, but I have no idea what happened to me that caused me to think this way, but I know It did. I went to school to avoid my parents' bickering. I have only one friend, but she's a really good friend. I tell her about what's going on at home and she really lifts my spirits. The sad thing is is that I don't think it is enough. Everyone in the school hates us and even though we are together as friends we just feel so alone.
