"Well if it isn't the fat freak!" Tevana yelled at our faces. We just shrank back as the other kids began to laugh. It was normal for this to happen but in front of everyone! It was surprising to see that soon... The kids stopped laughing. I looked at my friend. She had gasped in horror. What was she so afraid of? I looked down at my feet to see the fire. A fire had mysteriously started in the school. Everyone was silent and about a second later people were screaming. I heard nothing. I didn't move and I just stared at the fire. It went out.

"What the heck just happened?" My friend asked. What replaced the fire was a tiny puddle of water. The kids backed away and the silence was broken with the cruelest of laughter.

"Just to show your even more of a freak! WITCH!" Tevana yelled in my face. The other kids started laughing. Leah my friend was backing away.

"Leah?" I asked her. "I didn't do this I promise please..." Luckily because of our friendship, she didn't run away. She stayed and hugged me.

"I'm sorry I accused you of anything! I'm so sorry!" She said. Leah cried into my shoulder.

"I'm just scared that's all." She stood up and smiled. "I'm not scared now! WITCH!"

My head felt dizzy. How could she say those things! I woke up in a white room. "Where am I?" I asked. I was greeted by Leah's face which was filled with worry.

"You're in the health office," Leah said looking at the nurse for confirming me to leave. The nurse nodded and we went on our way.

I looked at Leah and asked. "So um. What happened?" She stopped walking and looked at me. Her face filled with worry.

"I heard you murmur. You said that I shouldn't worry about you. You then passed out. I brought you to the health office." She started.

"You called me a witch," I said. I couldn't believe it! Why would my friend after saying she didn't think I was a witch call me a witch! It was after I wished that she shouldn't worry about me. What if I was a witch! No! Witches aren't real. I sighed and went throughout the rest of the day.

My Mom was waiting for me when school ended. She had always been a bit quirky, but here she looked worried. "What's up mom?" I asked.

"We'll talk about it when we get back home ok?" She was a stage magician. I never knew any of her tricks. I hoped I could do one someday.
