//Three months later..//

It was a beautiful, hot day in the Alola region as your mum was on the balcony, enjoying the heat
You and your mum has recently moved to Alola, you came from Kanto and Poof here you are, Alola is a beautiful region so you couldn't wait for what was gonna come

"Ahhh! Can't you just feel that warmth? The first day spent under Alola's sun!" Your mum said to her kanto meowth
"Meowth? Go get Y/n for me, would you?" She asked Meowth

Meowth let out a meow before running back inside the house and headed straight to your bedroom where you were having a nap

Meowth came barging into your room and looked around until they saw you laying on your bed, sleeping
Meowth ran to your bed
"MWAAAWWWRRRRRR!!!" Meowth screeched as they jumped on your bed right next to your face

"Waah!" You were quickly awoken by the sudden noise and you accidentally fell off your bed and hit the hard floor
"Ow!" You proped yourself up with your elbows and rubbed your head that you hit
"Meowth! Don't ever do that again!" You angrily scolded the cat Pokemon

After you were familiar with your surroundings, you managed to stand up by yourself without the help of meowth (-_-)
"Mrow!" Meowth meowed as you looked at them with a angry pouty face

You sighed as you looked around, about a quarter of your room was filled with moving boxes full with your belongings which reminded you, you still needed to unpack but you couldn't be bothered to because you already unpacked about half of your belongings and were in your room such as your Will U, your Pikachu doll and your book that your dad gave you

Then you finally walked out of your room as your mum came back inside
"Hey mum" you said as you yawned
"Hey. You were out like a light, weren't you? You ought to be full of energy by now!" Your mum told you
"Mum, I barely have any energy in me" you stated

"So, y/n are you pumped to meet some Alolan Pokemon?" Your mum asked
"Duh! Of course!" You said
"Same, I'm sure the Pokemon living in a place like Alola must be friendly, right?" Your mum said as you nodded

Then the doorbell ring
"Oh, that's got to be Professor Kukui, why don't you let him in, y/n" your mum said
"Alright" you said as you made your way over to the door but when you were 1 foot away from the door, professor kukui just came in, apparently he was wearing just a lab coat with no t-shirt and just shorts, that isn't safe if your a professor

"Hey there y/n!, The name's kukui, good to meet you cousin!" Professor greeted
"Hello..?" You greeted
Then your mum came
"Professor Kukui! We just arrived yesterday" your mum said

"Hey there, I just let myself in. Oh and call me, Kukui would you? Welcome to Alola" Professor greeted your mum as well
"So y/n, how about we get a move on to the next town over, cousin! Time for you to meet the Island Kahuna and get yourself a pokemon, Yeah!" Professor said

You were instantly filled with excitement
"A pokemon!? Really?" Professor nodded but you were also confused about a Island Kahuna?
"Yeah, the Kahuna who lives in Iki town is always happy to give any kid who wants to have an adventure with their first Pokemon, yeah!" Professor explained

"Do you always have to say 'yeah'?" You thought
"But don't try taking on the Kahuna yourself! The kahunas are crazy strong Pokemon trainers, they're unbeatable for folks like me and you!" Kukui said

You nodded as she started to understand a little more about Kahunas
"Okay, well I'm gonna get ready!" You quickly said as you bolted to your room, filled with excitement, as you ran into your room, you quickly dug out your bag and your hat as you put it on

You looked into the mirror and looked at your reflection, you looked pretty good if you didn't say so for yourself
"Alright, let's go" you said as you walked back out of your room

*time skip to outside your house*

As you walked outside, you can instantly feel the blazing heat of the bright sun and there was also a cooling breeze, you spotted professor Kukui further up so you ran to him
"Looking good, cousin! Alright now again welcome to alola! First, we're off to Iki town, come on it's not far if we cut up here" professor then started walking up a path as you eagerly followed him
