~A week later~

Panic ran through Gilthunder's every nerve as he, Howzer, Griamore, and the three princesses ran to the medical wing, hiding in a room with a lady laying down in a bed. She appeared to be unconscious, when in reality, she was almost awake. The atmosphere surrounding Liones castle was thick with murderous intent and a malevolent aura that grew more and more sinister by the second. The reason? Vampires were approaching the castle, hoping to take the lives and blood of the humans in the castle. The six children hid behind the bed that the lady was in, while Veronica comforted Elizabeth about the broken ankle that she was nursing. "We have to go back for father, he and uncle Zaratras are probably in danger out there, and the medical wing has double bolted doors. They would be safe here with us." the dark haired brunette said, tears rolling down his cheeks as he cried. "Quit being such a baby, Griamore, you always overreact to things like this." she scolded, both she and the other five children blissfully unaware of the awakened woman eavesdropping mere inches away from them. "Besides, I'm sure that Sir Zaratras and Sir Dreyfus will be alright, especially with Sir Meliodas and the Seven Deadly Sins helping them as well." Margaret reassured, causing the others to be put slightly at ease, only for that ease to turn to horror as Arcadia spoke. "So, he's still alive then. Tell me, dear child, what is going on outside? It seems that I have just woken up from that rather long nap that I just had." she said, her voice still soft and low from lack of use. The brown eyed girl peeked over the edge of the bed, only to be met with two blue eyes staring back at her. "Well, um-" "The vampire clan is gonna eat us!" Griamore wailed, earning himself a slap upside the head from Howzer. "No they're not you idiot, quit whining." the blonde said. Arcadia spied her bag and her clothes neatly folded on the desk near the door, and managed to catch Elizabeth's gaze. She pointed to the outfit and asked her to bring it over. Elizabeth's eyes lit up, and she gladly went over and got the garments before giving them to the female. Before they could blink, Arcadia had used her speed to get dressed before they saw anything that she didn't want them to see. She then transformed into a prairie cat, telling Margaret to unbolt the door. "Is it a push door?" the female asked, causing the lavender haired princess to nod softly. She smiled, and burst through the door with the children on her back. "Tell me where to go to get to the throne room. That's a safe place in a castle." she commanded. Gilthunder spoke. "Take a left now, and then a right and another right, and you should see two large blue doors with the moon etched onto them." Gilthunder called, causing the female to nod before following the directions and getting to a set of double doors. She then transformed back and then called out to the guards. "Hey, let us in! I have six kids out here with me!" she called, but it was of no use. "Don't lie, vampire! We know you're alone!" the Holy Knight on the other side of the door shouted. "Alright, fine then, could one of you help me here?" she asked, causing Elizabeth to speak. "Father, it's me, Elizabeth. Margaret and Veronica are out here with me, as well as Sir Gilthunder, Sir Howzer, and Sir Griamore. That voice was the voice of-" she was cut off by a man with long silver hair opening the door and hugging the girl tightly. Meanwhile, Arcadia's eyes were wide with surprise. Another one? That makes it 107 now. She thought to herself, sighing quietly before turning to leave and help the fighting outside. However, Elizabeth caught her arm, begging her not to leave. Arcadia placed her hands on the silver haired girl's shoulders, bringing her close as she spoke. "How about this instead? I pinky promise that I'll come back to you alive, ok?" she asked, holding out her pinky. Elizabeth gladly shook it after taking it, smiling as the woman hugged her tightly and then got up, running to get to wherever she could help. "Please save my and Griamore's fathers, and also Hendrickson!" Gilthunder shouted after her. She told him she would, before grabbing a sword from the armory and running as fast as she could to get to where she felt the presence of three humans, all of which seemed to be in immense danger and distress.
