From here, this is where we start the first episode of the Lion Guard Season 3! You're probably thinking, this is gonna be a normal journey to the Tree of Life, and you're right, or are you? I guess you're gonna have to find out for yourselves. Also, since all of you know the songs on the Lion Guard, there'll be no need for me to label the songs and where it came from, LOL. And this is gonna be a four part story, isn't that exciting? I hope you enjoy this chapter.

It was sunset and Jasiri led Timothy, Lucy and Samuel to Pride Rock. When they got there, they saw a bunch of Pride Landers and they were training to fight. "You weren't kidding about what you said earlier." Samuel said to Jasiri, who turned her head to look at him and his friends. "Yeah, I really hope we defeat Scar's army, and Scar himself." Jasiri said with a frown as she turned her head to look at the training animals. "As long as we stick together, we can accomplish anything." Timothy said with a smile while looking at Lucy, who smiled back and nodded in agreement.

Jasiri was surprised after what Timothy said, "When did you become so wise?" Jasiri asked, looking at Timothy with a smirk, who smirked back and lifted his left shirt sleeve that revealed the Mark of the Guard which surprised Jasiri even more. "Kion made me the Wisest." Timothy replied, "Speaking of Kion, where is he, and the rest of the Guard?" Timothy asked while looking around. "They're in the Lair taking a breather, after gathering all of these animals." Jasiri replied than yawned, "And speaking of which, I should head back to my clan and get some rest myself." Jasiri said as started walking towards the Outlands, "I'm pretty sure you can find your way okay, later." Jasiri said as she ran off to the Outlands. "Well, let's go meet some old friends." Timothy said as he, Lucy and Samuel kept walking towards the Lion Guard Lair.

In the Lion Guard Lair, all of the Lion Guard were resting inside. Kion was resting on a rock formation which resembled Pride Rock, Fuli laid on a rock away from the pool, Bunga laid on a rock near the pool, Beshte laid in the pool and Ono laid in his nest near Rafiki's paintings. Kion got up from his spot and started to head outside, "Where are you going?" Bunga asked while looking at his Lion friend. "I'm going to inform my Dad that we got everyone who's willing to fight." Kion replied, not noticing someone approaching the Lair. "You sure you got everyone?" Someone asked. The Lion Guard looked at the entrance and saw it was their Human friend Timothy who spoke! "TIMOTHY!" Kion and the Guard said in excitement.

Everyone immediately got up from their spot and rushed towards their Human friend and stopped in front of him but Bunga jumped right on him which caused them to fall to the ground. "Good to see all of you too." Timothy said with a chuckle as Bunga got off of him so he can get up. "Also, you guys remember my two friends Lucy and Samuel?" Timothy asked while Lucy and Samuel stood next to their friend. "Of course." Kion replied, "We never forget our friends." Beshte added with a smile. "Anyway, Jasiri told us what's going to happen, so is it okay if we help?" Timothy asked while looking at the Guard. "Yeah, that'll be great." Kion replied with a smile, "We need all the help we can get." Ono added while flying over them.

"Anyway, I need to go inform my Dad that we have everyone." Kion said as he walked passed his friends, "The rest of you check on the herds and see if they're ready for battle." Kion ordered while turning his head back to look at his friends. Everyone agreed with him with a nod and went off to do their parts.

While the Lion Guard and Timothy and his friends checked on the herds, Kion went to the edge of Pride Rock to meet his father, King Simba. While standing on the edge, Hadithi the Eagle showed up with the Gorilla Warrior Shujaa. When Zazu saw this, he reported it to the King and his son. "That's everyone." Kion said with a smile. "Indeed." Zazu agreed, "The Lion Guard has gathered all the other herds." Zazu added. "Excellent." Simba said than looked at his son. "Kion, I want you to lead the attack first thing tomorrow morning." Simba told Kion than looked back at his reporter. "Zazu, tell everyone to get some rest. We'll need them at their best in the morning." Simba ordered.

"Yes, sire." Zazu replied with a bow than flew off. After Zazu flew off, Simba looked at the herds in front of Pride Rock, "With this many animals here, I'm sure Scar will know we're coming." Simba said anxiously. "Yeah, you're probably right about that." Kion replied while looking down, which Simba noticed. "Are you okay, son?" Simba asked while looking at his son. "Everyone knows the plan against the Outlanders, I just wish we knew how to defeat Scar himself." Kion replied with an anxious look across his muzzle. "Don't worry Kion, I know that you and the Lion Guard will succeed." Simba reassured, "I wouldn't ask you to do this if I wasn't certain." Simba added while rubbing his son's mane. "Thanks Dad." Kion said smiling at his father, who smiled back. "Now go on, don't forget you'll need some rest too." Simba said. "Okay." Kion replied as he went down Pride Rock.

While walking down Pride Rock, he wondered if he and the Pride Landers or if Scar and his army will win the battle the next day. Kion soon thought this night would possibly be his last night. While thinking those thoughts, a soft piano melody filled the air.

Kion: So this is my last night, for the biggest day of my life.

Can one more big fight put an end to all this strife?

Will we finally end this war?

Who can know for sure?

Fuli: There goes our worried friend,

Taking time to think on his own.

Timothy: When he must defend,

No he won't be alone.

Fuli and Timothy: We'll be there by his side,

Go with him stride for stride.

Fuli, Timothy, Bunga and Beshte: So bring it on tomorrow,

When the Pride Lands unite.

We're going into battle,

Bunga: With bravery.

Beshte: And might.

Fuli, Timothy, Bunga and Beshte: We'll always do what's right,

And we'll stand as one and fight,

With the end almost in sight,

On the last night.

Samuel: Everything looks safe and sound, but we want to be sure.

Lucy: One more flight around will help reassure.

Ono: The skies all seem clear,

No sign of danger here.

Kion: Yeah, I know everything's in place,

Still those doubts make my thoughts race.

Need someone to put my mind at rest,

Before I take this final test.

Everyone: So bring it on tomorrow (Fuli: Oh-oh-oh),

When the Pride Lands unite. (Fuli: Pride Lands unite)

We're going into battle,

With bravery and might. (Lucy: Bravery and might)

We'll always do what's right, (Fuli: Always do what's right)

And we'll stand as one and fight, (Lucy: Stand as one and fight)

With the end almost in sight...

Kion and Timothy: On the last night.

Kion, his Lion Guard, Timothy and his friends all looked at each other than went off into different directions.

...

It was completely night time and Kion was all by himself while walking on the grass and looking up at the clouds. "Grandfather Mufasa?" Kion called and after he did, Mufasa's spirit was shown in the clouds. "YES KION, I AM HERE." Mufasa replied smiling down at his grandson. "Dad wants me to lead the Pride Landers into the Outlands tomorrow, to fight Scar." Kion explained with a doubtful look across his muzzle. "AND THIS WORRIES YOU?" Mufasa asked. "Yeah, I mean... we still don't know how to beat Scar." Kion replied while looking down at the ground, "I don't even know if he can be beaten." Kion added while looking back up at his deceased grandfather.

"ALL EVIL CAN BE DEFEATED." Mufasa said while still looking down at his grandson. "Even when it's a Lion made of fire?" Kion asked with a curious look across his muzzle. "I BELIEVE YOU CAN DO ANYTHING KION." Mufasa said, "JUST STAY TRUE TO WHO YOU ARE INSIDE, AND REMEBER... YOU CAN'T FIGHT FIRE WITH FIRE." Mufasa advised before disappearing. "Can't fight fire with fire?" Kion repeated what his deceased grandfather said as it echoed in his mind.

Kion was walking back to Pride Rock, thinking about what Mufasa just said to him. "KION!" Ono shouted while flying towards him. "Ono! What is it?!" Kion asked. "I've just spotted Janja and his Hyenas!" Ono replied what he saw. "It looks like they're headed for Pride Rock!" Ono added with a worried look across his beak. "What?!" Kion asked matching Ono's expression. "Get the rest of the Guard, including Timothy." Kion ordered with a confident look across his muzzle. "Affirmative." Ono replied as he flew off to find the rest of the Guard and Timothy.

Later on, the Guard assembled, including Timothy except Lucy and Samuel, and encountered Janja and his Hyenas as they were about to head into the Lion Guard Lair. "Hold it right there Janja!" Kion called as he and his friends stood face to face with Janja and his Hyenas. "Janja! the Lion Guard!" Chungu cried while looking at his boss. "Yeah, I see 'em furbrain." Janja replied with an evil smirk, "But they can't stop us from getting into their Lair. Come on!" Janja ordered as he and his Hyenas entered the Lion Guard Lair.

"They're headed for the Lair." Bunga called out. "Why would they do that?" Fuli asked while looking at her friends. "Probably one of Scar's plans." Timothy suggested as he put his right hand on his chin. "Maybe you're right Timothy." Kion said as he looked at Timothy than the rest of his friends. "Come on!" Kion said as he and the Guard rushed into the Lair to kick Janja and his Hyenas out. What they didn't know was Kiburi and his float of Crocodiles came out of the tall grass and placed some sticks at the entrance of the Lair. "Come on, we need enough to take out the Lion Guard, the royal family and Janja's Hyenas." Kiburi said while looking at his Crocodile float with an evil grin.

Next time on The Golden Guardian 4: Timothy, Lucy and Samuel have been reunited with Kion and the Lion Guard since the last time they met. Now, they're about to embark on a big battle against Scar and his army, but he decided to strike first. What is Scar's plan this time? Will Kion be able to defeat Scar? What will happen after this battle against Scar and his army is done? Find out in the next installment of The Golden Guardian 4.
