(Y/N) groans a little before she opens her eyes. "Harry, (Y/N)." She looks up and sees her friend Hermione above her. "I saw my parents." Harry said. "What?" Hermione asked. "They sent the dementors away. I saw them across the lake." Harry said, quickly, as he sits up in his bed. "Guys, they've captured Sirius. Any minute the dementors are gonna perform the Kiss." Hermione said. "They're gonna kill him?" (Y/N) asked. "No. It's worse. Much worse. They're going to suck out his soul." Hermione said and the door to the Hospital Wing opens and Dumbledore comes in. (Y/N) quickly runs over to him. "Headmaster, you've got to stop them. They've got the wrong man." She said as Harry jumps up out of his bed. "It's true. Sirius is innocent." Harry said. "It's Scabbers who did it." Ron said. "Scabbers?" Dumbledore asked baffled. "He's my rat, sir. He's not really a rat. He was a rat. He was my brother Percy's rat. But then they gave him an owl..." Ron rambles and Hermione sighs and turns to Dumbledore. "The point is, we know the truth. Please believe us." She begs. "I do, Miss Granger. But the word of four 13-year-old wizards will convince few others." He replied and walks to Ron's bed. "A child's voice, however honest and true...is meaningless to those who have forgotten how to listen." He said as he pats Ron's injured leg, making Ron whimper in pain.

"Mysterious thing, time." Dumbledore said as he walks away from Ron's bed and slowly walks towards the door. "Powerful...and when meddled with, dangerous. Sirius Black is in the topmost cell of the Dark Tower." Then he turns to Hermione. "You know the laws, Miss Granger. You must not be seen. And you would do well, I feel, to return before this last chime. If not, the consequences are too ghastly to discuss. If you succeed tonight... more than one innocent life may be spared. Three turns should do it, I think." He said to Hermione, giving her a wink then turns to the door and starts to shut the door but turns around. "Oh, and by the way. When in doubt, I find retracing my steps to be a wise place to begin. Good luck." He then shuts the door. . "What the bloody hell was that all about?" Ron asked. Hermione turns to him as she pulls on a gold chain around her neck. "Sorry, Ron, but seeing as you can't walk..." she then puts chain around her neck, (Y/N)'s, and Harry's neck. In the middle of the chain was what looked like an hourglass. Harry tried to reach out towards the hourglass 

but Hermione smacks his hand and turns the hourglass three times. Then time begins to move backwards rapidly until they were back in time. "What just happened?" Harry asked. "Where's Ron?" "7:30. Where were we at 7:30?" Hermione asked. "Going to Hagrid's." (Y/N) said. Hermione grabs their hands. "Come on. And we can't be seen." The trio run out of the Hospital Wing and out towards the courtyard and towards the bridge. "Hermione! Hermione!" Harry shouted. "Hermione, wait." Harry said and the three stop towards the end of the bridge. "Hermione, will you please tell us what it is we're doing?" Harry asked but the three stop and see themselves from the past. "You foul, loathsome, evil little cockroach!" Past Hermione shouted. "That's us." Harry said. "Hermione, no! He's not worth it." Past Ron said. "This is not normal." Harry said and Hermione shoves the two back. "Hermione, that's a Time-Turner, isn't it?" (Y/N) asked pointing at her necklace. "So that's how you've been getting to your classes." (Y/N) realized. "McGonagall gave it to me first term." She replied. (Y/N) nods. "Hold on. Are you saying we've gone back in time?" He asked. (Y/N) nods again. "Yes. Dumbledore obviously wanted us to return to this moment. Clearly, something happened he wants us to change." All three look out in time to see Hermione punch Malfoy in the face. "Good punch." (Y/N) said. "Thanks, yours wasn't bad either." Hermione told her.

"Malfoy's coming. Run." Hermione said and she pushes them to the side out of the bridge as Draco and his friends run past. "Not a word to anyone, understood? I'm gonna get that jumped-up mudblood! Mark my words." "That felt good." Past Hermione said. "Not good, brilliant." Past Ron said. (Y/N), Harry and Hermione duck as you see their past selves walk to Hagrid's Hut. (Y/N), Harry and Hermione walk next to the stone walls as they watch themselves go in Hagrid's Hut. "Look. Buckbeak's still alive." Harry said. "Of course. Remember what Dumbledore said? If we succeed, more than one innocent life could be spared." (Y/N) said and the others smile and the three begin to run down towards the Hut. When they arrived, (Y/N), Harry and Hermione hide behind the pumpkins as they look through the window of Hagrid's Hut and see (Y/N) and Hagrid standing by the window with their backs facing. They look and see at the top of the hill was Fudge, Dumbledore and the executioner coming. "Here they come. I'd better hurry." Harry mutters and he begins to walk towards Buckbeak but (Y/N) places a hand on his shoulder. "Fudge has to see Buckbeak before we steal him. Otherwise, 

he'll think Hagrid set him free." She said, and Harry goes back down as she sees Hagrid giving Ron his pet rat back. "That's Pettigrew." Harry growled. (Y/N) and Hermione grab his shoulder. "Harry, you can't." Harry turns to Hermione. "He betrayed my parents. You don't expect me to sit here." And he tries to get up but (Y/N) grabs his arm and pulls him down. "Yes, and you must!" She said and the three sit down. "Harry, you're in Hagrid's hut now. If you go bursting in, you'll think you've gone mad. Awful things happen to wizards who meddle with time. We can't be seen." Hermione said and she turns and looks out towards the hill. "Fudge is coming." She said as Fudge and the crew were approaching. She looks at the Hut. "And we aren't leaving? Why aren't we leaving?" (Y/N) asked. She sees some green stones on top of some pumpkins. She picks up one and throws it across the grounds into the Hut. Harry puts a hand on the back of his head. "Ow. That hurt." "Sorry." Hermione said as the three watch their past selves coming out the back while Dumbledore, Fudge and the executioner come in. "We're coming out the back door. Go!" Hermione said and the three run to the forest as they see the four of them run behind the pumpkins. (Y/N) moves a branch out of the way. "Is that really what my hair looks like from the back?" She asked and a branch breaks and they hide just as past (Y/N) turns around. ""What?" Past Harry asked. "I thought I just saw....nevermind." Past (Y/N) said. "Let's go." Past Ron and the four run up the hill. (Y/N), Harry and Hermione run behind the pumpkins as they see themselves run up the hill. "Okay, go, Harry. Go!" (Y/N) urged and Harry stands up and walks across the garden. Harry pulls on the chain but Buckbeak doesn't move. Harry keeps pulling but Buckbeak stays put.

"Come on, Buckbeak. Come on." Harry urges. (Y/N) looks around and sees a few dead ferrets hanging on a post. She runs to them and drops them over her shoulder and runs to Buckbeak. She holds out a carcass of the ferret, Buckbeak looks up at her. "Come on, Buckbeak. Come and get the nice dead ferret. Come on. It's here. Come on, Beaky." She said as Buckbeak gets up and follows her. Then Dumbledore, Hagrid, Fudge and the executioner come outside but with their backs facing them. "Here we are, minister. Follow me. Now, look there." "Where?" "Look beyond the rocks." "What am I supposed to see?" "Professor Dippet had that ling planted when he was headmaster." (Y/N) waves the dead ferret in front of Buckbeak as the two lead him into the forest, Hermione following. The three hide behind some trees as they see the men turn around and look in the garden. "But where is it? I saw the beast, just now. Not a moment ago!" Fudge exclaimed. "How extraordinary." Dumbledore said. "Come now, Dumbledore. Someone's obviously released him." Fudge shouted. "Hagrid? I don't think the minister's suggesting you had anything to do with this. How could you? You've been with us all the time." Dumbledore states and Hagrid nods at this. "Right." He replied and Fudge sighs. 

"We must search the grounds." He said. "Well, search the skies, if you must, minister. Meanwhile, I'd like a nice cup of tea or a large brandy. Oh, executioner, your services are no longer required. Thank you." Dumbledore said and he goes into the Hut while the executioner walks up to one of the pumpkins, raises his axe and slices it in half. (Y/N), Harry and Hermione walk into the forest and stop at a spot and place the dead ferrets down on the ground for Buckbeak to eat while the three walk to one side of the forest goes to the Whomping Willow. "Now what?" Harry asked.
"We save Sirius." Hermione replied. "How?" (Y/N) asked. "No idea." She said just as they approaching an opening to the forest and saw the Whomping Willow. "Look. It's Lupin." Hermione said and Lupin was walking up to the Willow. The tree starts to move but Lupin points his wand at the tree and said. "Immobulus!" And he walks right into the secret passage. Seconds later, another figure comes up to the tree. "And Snape's coming." (Y/N) said as they watch Snape walk in. "And now we wait." Harry said. (Y/N) nods. "And now we wait." Hermione said. The three sit and watch the Willow, waiting for their Past selves to come back. After a few minutes pass and a lot of bats fly over. They duck and look out towards the forest and see Buckbeak, catching the bats and eating them. "At least someone's enjoying himself." Hermione said, looking pointedly at Buckbeak. (Y/N) chuckles. "Yeah." There was a few more moments of silence. "Hermione? (Y/N)?" Harry asked.

"Yeah?" They asked together. "Before, down by the lake, when (Y/N) and I were with Sirius... I did see someone. That someone made the dementors go away. With two Patronus's." Harry replied. "I saw two figures on the other side of the lake too." (Y/N) said. "I heard Snape telling Dumbledore. According to him...only really powerful wizards could have conjured it." Hermione said. "It was my parents. My parents conjured the Patronus's." Harry said. (Y/N) looks at Harry. "Harry, but your parents are..." "Dead. I know. I'm just telling you what I saw." Harry said as he looks at the ground. "Here we come." Hermione informs. The three stand as their past selves walk out of the Willow and see past Harry walk to Sirius. "You see Sirius talking to me there? He's asking me to come live with him." Harry said. "That's great." Hermione said. "When we free him, I'll never have to go back to the Dursleys'. It'll just be me and him. We could live in the country...someplace you can see the sky. He'll like that after all those years in Azkaban." 

Harry said. Suddenly Lupin turns into a wererwolf and Sirius was trying to stop him. Then Lupin and Sirius run off and take their fight somewhere else and past Harry and (Y/N) running after them. "Let's go." (Y/N)) said as they follow Lupin, Sirius, (Y/N) and Harry. Past Harry throws a rock at Lupin, who stops and turns to Harry. (Y/N) raises her hands over her mouth and let out a howl. Hermione quickly tries to stop her. "(Y/N), what are you doing?" She scolds. "Saving Harry's life." She replied as she howls again. Lupin stops and stares towards her and starts to run toward them. "Thanks." Harry said. "Great. Now he's coming for us." Hermione said. "Yeah, I didn't think about that. Run!" (Y/N) said and the three run into the forest and behind a huge tree. Lupin looks around the forest. Hermione in front of you and Harry behind as they slinked around the tree but Lupin walks to another side and sees the three. Lupin snarls and starts to run at them and Harry puts a protective arms around (Y/N)'s shoulders along with Hermione and Buckbeak runs and attacks Lupin, causing him to run off. She takes a deep breathes. "That was so scary." (Y/N) whispered into his shoulder. "Poor Professor Lupin's having a really tough night." Harry said.

The three look and see a group of Dementors going to the lake. "Sirius." Harry stares then he grabs (Y/N)'s hand. "Come on!" The three run to the lake and see (Y/N), Harry and Sirius getting attacked. "This is horrible." Hermione said. "Don't worry. My parents will come." Harry said. "They'll conjure the patronus." The three watch as the past Harry and (Y/N) get attacked.  "Any minute now. Right there. You'll see." Harry as he points at the boulder. "Harry, listen to me. No one's coming." Hermione said. "Don't worry, they will. They will come." Harry said. "You're dying... all three of you." Hermione said. (Y/N) walks out on the boulder and raised her wand, Harry quickly copying her actions. "EXPECTO PATRONUM!!" They shout. Two big bright white light come from the wands. (Y/N) saw into a stag and a (F/A) as the patronus' attacks the dementors. Their patronus fade away. Soon after, (Y/N), Harry and Hermione ride on Buckbeak as the three fly over Hogwarts. "You were right, Hermione. It wasn't my parents I saw earlier. It was us! I saw (Y/N) and I conjuring the Patronus's before. I knew we could do it this time because... well, we've already done it. Does that make sense?" Harry asked. "No." Hermione shouts. "But I don't like flying...!" Hermione shouts and she screams. The three make it to the tower where Sirius is being held and they run in front of the cell. (Y/N) raises her wand. "Bombarda!" And the cell burst open and Sirius walks out. Then all four ride on Buckbeak and fly around Hogwarts before landing in the courtyard. "I'll be forever grateful for this... 

to all three of you." Sirius said. "I want to go with you." Harry said. Sirius places his hands on Harry shoulder and leads him over to a bench. "One day, perhaps. For some time, my life will be too unpredictable. And besides... you're meant to be here." He replied. "But you're innocent." Harry said. "And you know it. And for now, that will do. I expect you're tired of hearing this... but you look so like your father. Except your eyes. You have..." "My mother's eyes." Harry said. Sirius smiles as he looks at Harry. "It's cruel that I spent so much time with James and Lily, and you so little. But know this: The ones that love us never really leave us. And you can always find them...in here." Sirius points to his heart. Harry smiles and walks to (Y/N) and Hermione as Sirius jumps on Buckbeak. He looks at (Y/N). "You really are the brightest witch of your age." She smiles and Sirius looks over at you and said. Buckbeak runs and then flies into the sky. At that moment you hear the bell from the clock tower ring and Hermione's eyes widened. "We have to go." She said as she grabs their hands and the three run to the castle and up the stairs and make it to the door of the Hospital Wing and see Dumbledore closing the door. "Well?" He asked. "He's free. We did it." (Y/N) said. "Did what? Good night." Dumbledore said as he smiles and waves. (Y/N), Harry and Hermione look at each then run to the door. (Y/N) and Hermione open the door as past her, Harry and Hermiome disappear. Ron looks at the door. "How did you get there? I was talking to you there. And now you're there." He said. "What's he talking about, guys?" Hermione asked. "I don't know." Harry said. "Honestly, Ron. How can somebody be in two places at once?" (Y/N) asked. The three laugh.

It was almost the End of Term and (Y/N) and Harry decided to visit Lupin. The two walk in the classroom and in his office. (Y/N) was about to knock. "Hello, Harry and (Y/N)." The two jump and turn to him. "I saw you two coming." He replied to your confused look and points at the map. "I've looked worse, believe me." He said. Harry looks around and noticed his suitcase out and had his clothes inside. "You've been sacked." He states and Lupin lets out a small laugh. "No. No. I resigned, actually." "Resigned? Why?" (Y/N) asked. "Well, it seems that somebody let slip the nature of my condition." Lupin replied. "This time tomorrow, the owls will start arriving and parents will not want...well, someone like me teaching their children." He said, shrugging. "But Dumbledore..." Harry begins to argue but Lupin raises his hand and said. "He has already risked enough on my behalf. Besides, people like me are...Well, let's just say that I'm used to it by now." Lupin closes his suitcase and puts it on top of his trunk. Then he looks a Harry's sad faces. "Why do you look so miserable, Harry?" Lupin asked. "None of it made any difference." Harry sighs and you nod in agreement. "Pettigrew escaped." He added. "Didn't make any difference? It made all the difference in the world. You uncovered the truth. You saved an innocent man from a terrible fate. It made a great deal of difference. If I am proud of anything...

it is of how much you two have learned this year. Now, since I am no longer your teacher...I feel no guilt whatsoever about giving this back to you. So now I'll say goodbye to you. I feel sure we'll meet again sometime. Until then... mischief managed." Lupin said and he waves his wand at the map and all the drawings and words on the map disappear and it folds back up. He grabs his trunk and suitcase and they watch him walk out. Some time later, (Y/N) and Harry walk into the Great Hall. "Stand back, I said! Or I'll take it upstairs if you don't settle." Ron shouts at a group of Gryffindors. Neville sees (Y/N) and Harry and runs to them. "(Y/N). Wherever did you get it?" Then Seamus runs to Neville's side. "Can I have a go, (Y/N)? After you, of course." The two look at him. "What are you talking about?" Harry asked. Then they walk to Ron, who had a crutch for his injured leg. "Quiet. Let the girl through." Ron ordered then he looks at (Y/N). "I didn't mean to open it, (Y/N). It was badly wrapped. They made me do it." He points at Fred and George. "Did not." They said, in unison, and they unwrapped the parcel to reveal a brand new broom. "That's a Firebolt!" Harry said as her eyes widened. "For me? But who sent it?" She asked. "No one knows." Seamus said as Hermione walks up to her. "This came with it." And she holds up a gray and white feather. (Y/N) and Harry look at it and realized it was Buckbeak's feather. (Y/N) grabs the broom and runs outside, all the Gryffindors following. All of them run into the courtyard and (Y/N) mounts the broom but before she takes off she looks at Harry. "Get on, Harry." She said. He looks at her in surprise. "For real?" She nods and he takes the space behind and wraps his arms around her waist and the two fly into the sky quickly. The two friends scream as they fly around the castle.
