It took about 2 months for the family to completely settle and grow accustomed to each other, and that included the necessary legal work to adopt the child, naming her, and getting her comfortable enough around each of them to speak freely and understand she was their daughter now. Her new name was Valor King, which was the name given to her by Bravery, at the insistence of Mirror and Raven. Mirror had gotten to name Raven and she had always planned for Bravery to name their second child if they ever had one. Then Raven was extremely serious on the point that her last name had to be King because she already had her mom's last name.

Because of that Bravery had made a list of names and gave them to their new daughter and she ended up liking Valor the most. So now their little family was complete.

To their parent's surprise, Raven adjusted really well to having Valor as a sister. The only thing she was upset about was learning that Valor was technically her older sister, but she got over it quickly and still took on a big sister role by guiding the unfamiliar girl everywhere.

The next thing that the parents were worried about was sending Valor to school.

"Because you're actually older than Raven you would be placed in the grade above her sweetie." Mirror was trying her best to explain to her now oldest daughter what would be happening from now on. It wasn't going very well, especially since Valor wouldn't let go of Raven from a tight hug and wouldn't respond to her anymore.

Bravery had told her about how fun school could be earlier, and at first she was interested, but as soon as she realized she wouldn't be with either them or Raven she was completely against it.

While this was happening, Raven was lightly patting her older sister's back and looked to be thinking.

"Mommy?"

"Yes birdie?" Mirror sighed seeing as though she wasn't getting through to the 6 year old at all.

"What if she did stay in my class? If Papa writes a special note then I know they'll agree!" She grinned at her parents happily and they both made eye contact.

There were multiple times when Raven needed something at or for school Bravery would write a letter explaining the situation and then they would agree because it was a request from the Good King himself. Most of the staff were aware that Raven lived with him, even if they weren't aware of why. Most people think it's because 'The Good King was kind enough to even take in the daughter of The Evil Queen while she's missing.' So to Raven it probably looked like his notes made anything happen.

"That's not a bad idea..." Bravery mumbled and Mirror nodded in agreement.

"Okay. Valor, if you can be in Raven's class with her would you be willing to give school a chance?" Mirror asked carefully, and finally her daughter pulled back slightly to actually look at her. She still looked worried and Mirror could see how afraid the small girl actually was about being separated from them.

"You won't leave me alone r-right?" As the girl adjusted she started speaking more and she picked up new words faster than expected, but whenever she got nervous or worried she would still stutter over her words a bit. Honestly Mirror found it adorable, especially since Raven never had a stuttering phase, she had seemed to catch onto words much faster than either of her parents had expected.

"If course not little one!" Bravery stepped up from beside Mirror and without any hesitation he scooped up the small girl into his arms and gave her a hug of his own. She let out a surprised squeal but once she realized she was being hugged she easily hugged him back.

"We're not going anywhere! You'll be with Raven during the day, and you'll meet so many new people, and make some friends, and then, every day, you'll come right back here and we'll be waiting for you." Valor pulled back to look at his face, but once she decided that he was being completely sincere she nodded and then hugged him again making him laugh loudly and deeply, which of course made Raven start to giggle too.

"Papa! Me too!" She clung to his leg, and the old man didn't hesitate to scoop up his other daughter just as easily. "Both of my little girls are amazing! Remember, mommy and I will always be here for you okay? Always."

Both of them nodded in agreement to his words. It was obvious though that Valor would take them to heart.

Mirror looked at her family fondly. Bravery always knew what to say when it came to comfort and affection, it's one of the things she loved about him. And seeing how caring he was for their kids just made her love him even more. She stepped closer to the small group, "Can I hold one of our girls? Or do they only want their father today?"

She watched as Valor buried her face into her father's neck, and when Raven saw that she easily twisted and reached her arms out for her mother, "I'll give you a hug mommy!" Mirror chuckled and took her youngest into her arms for a tight hug.

"Thank you little one."
