Summary: 

Xenia is a guest at her Aunty Monique's house. She has been ever since her mother, father and little brother died. The way she pays her Aunty for staying there is to do chores. Wiping, washing, cleaning. The works. You must be thinking, this is awfully a lot like Cinderella, am I right? Well, think again.

Xenia might have two cousins, Liesel and Patricia, but they both have different views on her. Liesel thinks that Xenia is a tool to be used and Patricia thinks the complete opposite.

And one day, Xenia is surprised by the chime of a doorbell.

Xenia raced down the stairs and towards the door. She put her hand up against the door, trying the catch her breath. When she had, she swung open the door to see a dark haired and green eyed boy standing in the doorway, smiling at her cheerfully. "Hi, Xenia."

"Hey Josh." she smiled back.

Josh is one of the popular guys in school who have the girls swooning all over him in the corridors before and after class.

"What's up?" Xenia asked, trying to act casual.

"I was, uh, wondering if you, Pat and Liesel would come to my, uh, birthday party this weekend?"

What do you know? The girls are going to a party.

But there's another catch.

No one in Xenia's household-save Pat-knows about the 'Unknown-Guy' Xenia talks to online. They arrange, much to Xenia's dismay, to meet up at the party.

Patricia comes up with a plan for Xenia to follow if she decides to flake out not go through with the meeting up. Xenia agrees and it seems like the whole entire world starts talking about the party for the upcoming weekend.
