Dr. Chrome paced around the room with a stormy look in his eyes. He wanted to butcher his sister's ex-husband. It had been a month since 47's disappearance and he could not do anything about it. He wished that his son would have approached him once after coming back from Romania but it was as if his son was avoiding him. He was frustrated and out of the blue his son is captured by this useless piece of filth.

Oh how he wanted to just throttle his neck.

Just then his phone rang and he checked the caller ID and found it to be a private number. He quickly picked it up thinking it was his bastard of a brother-in-law. But his face contorted to that of confusion when he knew it was not the one he had expected.

Wolve lay in his bed staring at the ceiling. He was caught in bed with another woman yesterday by Christy. He knew he would be caught some day and he wanted it. But things weren't going the way he had planned. He had expected her to fight him, kick him and slap him. But her face was monotonous. Just like a robot. She had ignored his deed without much heed. She only asked the woman he was with to leave, politely. He first thought it was the calm before the storm. But the storm never seemed to arrive because she quietly headed to the bedroom to change her clothes and came out and as usual headed to the kitchen.

Did she really not care about what had transpired half an hour ago? Did she really not give shit about him?

She came back and asked him what he wanted to eat with a small smile on her face and that broke his heart.

He got up from the bed and headed towards her. She was in the kitchen preparing some thing when he caught hold of her upper arm and swirled her around to face him. She looked at him with confusion clouding her eyes.

"Don't you think we should talk?" He asked his voice raising with each word.

"Talk about what?" She asked knowing what it was.

"You know what it is." He yelled at her.

She stared at him with confusion clouding her eyes. Why was he so angry? Didn't she do the right thing by not saying anything?

"Oh gosh! You b***h, you were supposed to be angry. But you don't seem to care. Bloody robot! You don't have any feelings." Wolve yelled at her. She did not say anything because she knew how he was. But the next statement tore her even more.

"This is why I will consider you only as a wh**e!"

She looked up at him and a tear slipped from her eye. Wolve stood shocked. He definitely never considered her one. In fact, she was his beloved. He felt so horrible. His mandible remained in its depressed position. He never thought he would say this to her. Now how would he explain how much he loves her?

"Are you sure I am the one with no feelings?" She asked in her monotonous voice. Her face was devoid of expression. No wonder she was a robot.

Wolve fell on his knees hugging her legs weeping at his mistake. Her question wasn't something normal. It was deep. She didn't want to hurt him by scolding him. She trusted him with all her heart.

And he had the balls to break the same heart which he had nurtured.

She stood there without showing an inch of movement. She felt her innocence rip like shreds of paper. Was love really this painful? Was this the payback of what she had done to the dreaded agent who was in love with her?

She knew she had committed the biggest mistake but she did not know how to recuperate. Then she saw her gun on the kitchen counter. She kicked Wolve and walked towards the kitchen counter grabbing the gun and pointing it at Wolve. Wolve did not say anything because he wanted to end all this. He wanted to end the pain he had given to her and if she would be happy by killing him then so be it.

A gunshot echoed in the room.

And it was not Wolve who had taken the bullet. Rather it was the person holding the gun.

Wolve yelled at the sight. She had killed herself.

47 jerked on the wooden chair he was sat. He felt as if a chunk of his heart had been ripped. The same stone cold heart which had warmed up to someone.

Was it by any chance his father?

No way. He would never let anything happen to Dr. Chrome. He could hear a huge commotion outside.

Suddenly a man came in and removed the shackles from his leg.

"I was sent by the Agency to save you. I have been here for a day waiting for this moment to help you escape." He spoke in a hushed tone.

"What moment?" 47 asked staring at the man.

"The death of Wolverine and his girlfriend."
