The next morning, the gods and goddesses left the kids with Hecate and Hestia. They needed to think of a babysitting schedule.

After much arguing, they finally agreed on:
Monday: Apollo and Artemis
Tuesday: Hades and Demeter
Wednesday: Zeus and Ares
Thursday: Athena and Dionysus
Friday: Poseidon and Aphrodite
Saturday:Hephaestus and Hecate
Sunday: everyone would spend time with them
At night: Hestia and Hera would keep an ear open.

On Mondays, Apollo and Artemis would take them on the Sun Chariot every day. The chariot was magically enlarged to fit in two bedrooms, a bathroom and a playroom. Apollo had taught Artemis how to drive the sun chariot, so they took turns watching the kids and driving.

On Tuesdays, Hades and Demeter would take them to the Underworld to see Persephone, Demeter's garden, and watch souls get judged. If they were to busy, they would put the kids in the house they built in Elysium for babysitting. They would ask someone in Elysium to babysit, and every hour, one of them would come check on them.

On Wednesdays, Zeus and Ares would play with them in the children's palace. Sometimes they would harness up Ares' chariot and fly around the clouds.

On Thursdays, Athena and Dionysus would watch movies with them or read with them in the library.

On Fridays, Aphrodite and Poseidon would alternate between going to Poseidon's palace, and playing in the Palace.

Saturday's were probably the second favourite day for the kids. Hecate would show them magic, and Hephaestus would build them new toys.

Sunday's were the favourite days. All of their parents would play with them.

This went on until the kids were five.
At their fifth birthday party, the gods were going to give them their powers.

The gods and goddesses were extremely excited. They left the kids with Hestia and Hecate while they set up for the party. Aphrodite was decorating with Hephaestus, Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades. Demeter was baking with Dionysus and Hera. Apollo was getting the lighting and music. Athena was helping Ares wrap all the presents.

Finally they were ready. Aphrodite went to help them all get dressed, and half an hour later, twenty two five year olds came bounding down the stairs. The girls kept tripping on their long chitons. Thalia, Clarisse, and Piper were grumbling about wearing 'these long stupid things' in Thalia's words.

When they walked in, they completely forgot about the dresses. They played and danced. Leo ate way to many skittles. When things calmed down, the gods beckoned them into the throne room. "Children, today is your fifth birthday. You will be starting your studies tomorrow. Athena will be teaching you things you would learn in school, Apollo will be teaching you medicine, Ares will be teaching you weaponry, Aphrodite will teach you etiquette, and you will get a session with your parent, teaching you about your powers. We agreed to give you your powers on your fifth birthday, so we shall do that now. Please form a line." They did. Each parent found their own kid and gave them their powers. They also blessed them. Then they told them to go to bed to get ready for the next day.
