(Katie's POV)

I looked out the window and saw (Y/N) jump up into the air, escaping my field of vision. I turned around and walked upstairs. I made it to my room and opened the door. I took off my backpack, putting it next to my bed and laying down on my bed. I looked up at the ceiling.

Katie: Why didn't I ask him?

I slapped myself on the head. I heard a knocking on my door and it opened, revealing my big sister.

Alexis: Heya little sis. How was your day at school?

Katie: It was fine.

Alexis: Did you get the courage to ask (Y/N) out?

Katie: No...

Alexis walked up to my bed and sat down next to me.

Alexis: Why not? I remember you telling me over the summer that you would ask him out when school started again.

Katie: I was... But a new girl showed up and ruined it.

Alexis: Oh. I see. What happened?

Katie: She had a sparring match with (Y/N) and is all over him after that.

Alexis: Let me guess, her breasts are bigger than yours, right?

I felt my face fire up. Alexis giggled at me and patted me on the head.

Alexis: You were always the self conscious type.

Katie: A-Alexis!

Alexis: I'm joking. Don't worry. Stop making that face of yours red.

I sat up and moved her hand away from my head. Alexis sighed and looked at me.

Alexis: Listen little sis. It doesn't matter if you have a big chest or anything like that. It's about what's inside of you.

She poked on my chest, where my heart is.

Alexis: (Y/N) is a nice guy. I'm sure he doesn't matter about stuff like big breasts.

Katie: I guess you're right.

Alexis: You better ask him out soon, or someone else will take him. And with him being a cutie, it won't be long. Who knows, if he's free when he graduates, I might try shooting my shot.~

Alexis gave me a playful smile. I felt my face get even hotter and I started to hit her on her arm.

Katie: Get out of my room!

Alexis leaned forward and kissed me on the forehead.

Alexis: I want you to promise me something.

Katie: What is it?

Alexis: Ask (Y/N) out tomorrow after school.

Katie: What if he says no?

Alexis: It's better to ask and know the answer than not asking and wondering for the rest of your life.

I thought about what she said. If I don't ask (Y/N) out, then I'll regret it for the rest of my life. I gave my big sister a nod.

Katie: I promise.

Alexis: That's great to hear. Just make sure to keep your promise.

Katie: I will. Now please get out.

Alexis: Aw. You don't want to hang out with big sis anymore?

She got up from my bed and left my room, closing the door behind her. I reached down to my backpack and opened it, grabbing my homework.

Katie: I'll finish this first, then I'll worry about how I'll talk to (Y/N).

(The Next Day)

I heard the final bell ring, meaning school is over. I got up from my desk and left the classroom. I went to my locker and got my backpack out of it. I walked outside and waited for (Y/N). After some waiting, I saw (Y/N) walk outside.

Katie: (Y/N)!

I got his attention and ran up to him.

(Y/N): Hey Katie. Do you need me to take you home?

Katie: No...

How am I going to word this?

Katie: Are you... Doing anything today?

(Y/N): Not really. Why? Do you want to hang out?

Wait what?! I'm supposed to ask that! I felt my face turn red. I looked away from (Y/N).

Katie: I mean... Only if you want to.

(Y/N): Yeah, sure.

He said yes? He said yes! I felt a sudden burst of adrenaline go through my body in excitement. I took a deep breath to calm myself down and got the courage to look at (Y/N).

Katie: We can go and get a drink at the new cafe that opened up recently.

(Y/N): That sounds good. I've been meaning to check that place out.

Katie: Great! Let's get going!

(Ten Minutes Later)

Me and (Y/N) made it to the new cafe and we sat down at one of the outside tables.

(Y/N): This place is nice.

Katie: It is.

I looked at (Y/N) and he's looking around. I did a fake cough and got his attention.

Katie: (Y/N). I wanted to talk to you about something.

(Y/N): Really? What is it?

Katie: I was wondering if you wanted to start da-

I got interrupted by a nearby explosion. I looked back and saw smoke coming from a huge hole in a nearby bank.

Criminal: Hahahahaha! My Power of Explosions is the best! I can get away with anything!

I saw him holding a bag of cash. An explosion came from his hand, making a car come flying towards me. I closed my eyes and put my arms up. I heard the car hit something, but I didn't feel any pain. I slowly opened my eyes and saw (Y/N) in front of me, holding the car with one hand. (Y/N) looked back at me.

(Y/N): Are you hurt?

Katie: N-No.

I felt my heart start to race. (Y/N) gently put the car down. (Y/N) turned to look at the criminal. The criminal looked scared and started to run as fast as possible.

(Y/N): 3... 2... 1...

After he counted down to one, I saw the criminal get slammed into the ground. I saw (Y/N)'s mom, Super, standing on top of him.

Super: I thought you said you could get away with anything. Or was that a lie?

Criminal: Don't think you've won yet!

Super punched him on the head, knocking him out.

Super: There. Now I won.

Everyone nearby started to cheer for Super.

Citizen 1: That was amazing! I didn't even see Super show up!

Citizen 2: Apparently one time, she was training against someone who can see everything and not even he could see her move!

Citizen 1: Seriously?! No wonder she's the best! She can do the impossible!

Super started to wave at the people. The cops showed up and took the criminal away.

Super: I'm off to help more people in need! Don't try to cause any trouble, or you'll end up like that criminal!

Super jumped into the air, going to help someone else in the city.

(Y/N): Didn't expect that.

(Y/N) sat back down and looked at me.

(Y/N): So what did you want to talk about?

I got snapped out of my thoughts and looked at (Y/N) in the eyes.

Katie: O-Oh. Right. I was just wondering if you wanted to be boyfriend and girlfriend?

(Y/N) looked at me and smiled. He chuckled to himself.

Katie: What's so funny?!

(Y/N): I was just wondering when you would ask me.

Katie: Wait. You knew about my feelings for you?!

(Y/N): I mean, you don't really make it subtle.

I felt my face heat up like crazy. It's probably as red as a tomato. (Y/N) leaned over the table and gave me a quick kiss.

(Y/N): Does that answer your question?

I just nod my head. I can't think of anything to say. I tried to say something, but I'm just a stuttering mess. (Y/N) smiled and covered my mouth with his hand.

(Y/N): Stop being cute.
