Steve's POV:

I can't help but stare longingly at the now wilting flowers in the vase set on my kitchen island in Stark Tower.

I know she brought them. No one else said they did. In fact they didn't even acknowledge their existence.

It's been 2 weeks since the incident. And nothing.

Not a single trace of her on any system in the world.

Everyone is handling themselves like nothing happened. Like she doesnt exist. But I can't get her out of my mind. No matter how hard I try. She's always there, as if she's watching me from the other side of a two way mirror.

Sighing, I turn and begin to head towards the elevator when I see Bucky heading down the stairwell. Dressed as civilian-like as possible.

Why?

I use my stealth to remain as quiet as possible, following him until he stops 4 floors down.

It's... Wanda?

I watch Bucky linger around the stairwell doorway to when moments later she slips through the doors, also dressed as civilian-like as possible.

"Did anyone see you?" Bucky questions in whisper, but loud enough for me to hear from my crouched position.

"No. You?"

"I don't think so no." He replies hushed. "Are you ready?"

"Yeah. Hopefully this should be the last time we have to do this. I hate keeping it a secret from the others." Wanda whispers in return.

"I know. I don't like it either but right now it's easier this way." Bucky remarks sadly. "Let's go". And within seconds they disappear, heading down the rest of the stairwell.

What. Just. Happened.

Are Bucky and Wanda.... no. Bucky would have told me, wouldn't he?

Something's going on. Now what I think about it they've been looking pretty close these past 2 weeks, even having their own secluded conversations at Tony's dinners.

I need to tell the others. So I run back upstairs to my floor and call on Jarvis to arrange an Avengers meeting on the main floor, urgently.

Tony's POV

"So let me get this straight. You're saying that Bucky and Wanda are having a fling and non of us knew about it?"

"No that's not what I mean" Steve tries to reason.

"Well I mean... they have been getting pretty close lately.." Clint trails off suggestively.

"It's not possible. They can't be. I know everything going on in the tower, Jarvis keeps tabs" Everyone's eyes dart towards me. Oops.

Suddenly I feel Nat breathe down my neck before saying "we will deal with you later" before moving away "the priority at hand is why Bucky and Wanda keep disappearing and what they're up to. I hate to even suggest it but we can't have them deviating"

Deviating. Such a harsh word. What if.. if they're trying to get her back? It makes sense, Wanda is probably the only person who can reverse what they've done to her. Her powers are almost identical.

"I think I know what they're doing." Everyone looks at me silently waiting.

"They're gonna bring her back"
