Aria P.O.V.

Rhyd and I are discussing the "visiting of the fiances" situation on our way to school.

"So, you said that Winston's arriving at... his grandmother's place in a few hours?" I nod. "And Callie should arrive at her parent's plat here around noon." He pulls into the parking spot. "Is he picking you up, Ari?" I freeze, paling a bit.

"He better not be." Rhyd chuckles and turns the car off. "I'll let him know not to parade down here from Buckingham, then." he says, smirking. We head inside the building to find Max, Alice, and Sam waiting for us. All three of their jaws drop as they see us. Alice runs up to me. I can see my bodyguard tense out of the corner of my eye.

"You weren't kidding, Ari!" She plays with my hair a little. "Blonde and brown! I like it!" I laugh.

"Of course I wasn't kidding!" Max smirks, watching, and Sam's mouth is still open.

"Rhyd, since when would you agree to such a girly idea?!" 

Rhyd sighs. "Since I wasn't given any other choice from Ari."

Sam laughs. "What's she gonna do? Change your hair colour yourself? If only magic existed!" Me, my brother, and our bodyguards all tense. I feel horrible about this. Rhyd shrugs it off with a weak laugh.

"You never know, Sam." Max takes the opportunity to bring up a question.

"So, Ari, Rhyd. What are we all doing for our history project after school?" Rhyd and I share looks. That was today?!

Alice's face lights up. "Can we work at your place??" Rhyd and I share pained looks. "What? I may have only been there once, but I don't see how going to your house of all places is a bad thing!" 

Sam grins. "Yeah! Let's go to your place! I've always wanted to drop by!" Before Rhyd or I can answer, he continues, "So it's settled! We'll meet you two at your house after school!"

The trio was gone in an instant.

My bodyguard appears next to me, a concerned look incredibly obvious. "I shall let your aunt and uncle know of the situation, Your Hi-erm... Miss Lestrad. Shall they prepare your rooms for them as well?" I shake my head, and he steps back into place just as Rhydian grabs my hand and pulls me into an empty classroom.

"Do you realize what's going to happen?!" I look at him questioningly as we stand in a short moment of silence in the vacant science classroom.

"Pardon?" Rhyd runs a hand through his hair and groans.

"First, they're coming over. Secondly, who else happens to be coming over as well?" I roll my eyes.

"There is not much we can do, Rhyd. We cannot get out of either." He looks surprised, and I sigh. "What?!"

"The Great, Mischievous, Magical Aria has no tricks up her sleeve??!!" I throw a mock glare at him.

"Of course I have ideas. However, so far, none of those ideas will work."

"Well, you best think of something, Ari. And soon."
