"...where am I going? Well I'll tell you where I'm going. I'm going to see Sergei Black, owner of Happy Sergei's Circus of Fun!" Gidget yipped to no one in particular. She was just repeating the clue again and again, out loud so everyone could hear. Unfortunately for Tiberius, it was starting to get on his nerves. At least he had it ingrained in his head so he could ask someone for directions.

If he could find anyone.

"Sergei Black, owner of Happy Sergei's Circus of Fun! Here we come!" Gidget exclaimed loudly. Nearby birds flew away. Trying to hold back a growl, Tiberius turned towards the fluffy white dog. "Gidget, do me a solid and shut up about the circus!" he growled. The smaller animal nodded her head in understanding as she walked alongside the griffin before she started talking again, "I can't wait to see Max! It feels like an eternity Tyler."

"Oh I bet it was," Tiberius muttered sarcastically. He kept on walking. Skipping alongside him, Gidget yipped gleefully, "I knew you would agree! You and I are best friends and we know things about each other!" Rolling his eyes, the griffin murmured, "Really? Then what do you know about me?" Thinking for a moment as she studied his face, Gidget declared, "I think you're so grumpy because you don't have a girlfriend!"

"Okay, moving on to the next topic!" Tiberius shouted, flicking his tail. He walked at a faster pace but Gidget swiftly matched it as she quipped, "That just proves I'm right!" His fur and feathers bristling, the griffin spat, "No, it does not prove anything!" Sitting down, Gidget huffed and muttered, "Easy there grandpa, no need to be so angry." His talons digging into the dirt, Tiberius hissed, "My son Norman is out there somewhere in this huge world and without anyone he knows! I am miles away from home with a dog who can't even remember something a minute ago!"

"Yeah, I bet that's frustrating," Gidget commented. His tail lashing, Tiberius went on, "I only have one clue to find my son and it's completely worthless because neither you nor I know where it is and there's nobody out here who's going to help me!" Breathing hard, the griffin turned away from Gidget and sat down. A cloud of anger hung over his head metaphorically. It disappeared though when Gidget piped up, "I'm helping you."

Silence entered the arena. His ears laying flat in surprise and shame, Tiberius glanced to his right. Gidget was there, looking up at him. Patting his taloned forepaw gently, she spoke softly, "Don't worry Thomas, we'll find your son Melman." Hugging his leg, she mumbled, "I promise." Letting out a heavy sigh, Tiberius pressed his beak against her head as he murmured, "Thank you Gidget. But my son's name is Norman and mine is Tiberius."

"Oh, right," Gidget stammered, blushing in embarrassment. Hopping up to her paws, she barked, "Come on, there's bound to be someone here who knows where Sergei Black owner of Happy Sergei's Circus of Fun is. We'll find your son Elmo in no time!" Following the fluffy white dog, Tiberius corrected her again, "His name is Norman." He bumped right into Gidget, who had her ears perked. "Strange, I don't hear anything or anyone," she murmured. Listening quietly, the griffin realized she was right.

The forest had fallen eerily quiet.
