Not many realize that we share this world with creatures of legend.

A long time ago, there used to be many animals that were unlike their neighbors. They were different because they possessed powers. Some could fly without wings, others were huge and could move mountains. A few could control things such as fire or water or even the wind. Some could summon storms or move things with their mind. According to the humans, they were called mythical creatures.

Sadly, everything eventually comes to an end. Such was the case of the mythical creatures. Many species were wiped out to the point of extinction. Others nearly suffered the same fate. The survivors then went into hiding in various biomes. The humans never saw them again and what was once reality became myth.

This does not mean that mythical creatures disappeared altogether. They simply are hiding from the humans. To the animals though, they were very much alive and well and regarded as royalty, or even gods. See, when they dispersed all those years ago, the mythical creatures went to different biomes and became a protector of all who lived there. They were not going to sit back and let anything bad happen to another living creature ever again.

And to this very day, far away from the prying eyes of humans, they continue to protect those who are under their care, including their loved ones...
