When Abigal and Kaleb were ready to go, my fake dad asked if I was sure I didn't want him to take me to the library. "I'm sure, goodbye." "Ok, bye Megan." He said and drove off. I sighed with huge relief that he was gone. I started walking to the library, but I honestly didn't know where the library was. So I decided to just keep walking in a certain direction and if I see someone, I'll ask for directions. While I was walking I remembered there was a graveyard behind our house, then I started questions myself, should I go through all this trouble in finding a library that might be far away, when what I'm looking for might be right in my backyard? Yes, I should. That graveyard was huge, it would take forever to read every name to find who I'm looking for. And maybe her grave isn't even back there. I was talking to myself in my head I almost missed a boy walking by, "Excuse me! Do you happen to know where the library is?" I asked, he looked a little startled when I last minutely asked the question. When he turned around, I noticed it wasn't just some boy. "Ethan?" I was so surprised to see him. "Hey Meg. You scared me." "What are you doing out here?" I ask, close to forgetting what I was doing. "I would ask the same thing about you, but you just yelled it at me." He laughed a little. "Yea. Sorry about that. I was in my own world." "That's alright, I just came from little miss perfects house." "You mean your girlfriends house?" "Yea, well. We broke up. I didn't like her pushing me around all the time." "Oh, sorry to hear that." But not fully sorry, I said in my head. "It's alright, and to answer your question, the library isn't far from here. Come on, I'll take you." He said waving me to come along. I thought it would be useless trying to change his mind, but frankly, I didn't want to. "Thanks." I said trying to hide my blush. "No problem. So how's life?" "Good, we'll not fully. But that's life. How's yours?" I asked him, he seemed happy. "It's great. Hey, our team at school is having a competition with the sports we are playing, it would mean a lot to me if you come.." it looked like he had trouble saying that, I could tell. "Of course." We walked silently for a few minutes, "hey, we found the library." I said, I thought he would leave, but he said after I was done with what I was doing, he wanted to walk me home. I wish my face didn't have the power to change color. I ran into the library, but started walking half way after someone told me to stop running. "Aha!" I said when I found a computer. "Shhh!" I don't know who said that, but I softly apologized and went back on the computer. I searched up Ally Bargny. Blah blah blah blah, died in 1945, I mumble to myself, blah blah blah blah, aha! "Buried in central cemetery park." I searched up a map to where that was. It was, of course, in central park. The cemetery was right next to it. "The cemetery is in the middle of town?" I whispered to myself. Luckiyl, I lived pretty close to central park, just 5 blocks away. I printed the map and walked out of the library. "Hey, you all done? I thought you would have gotten some books." "No, not in my situation." "What exactly is your situation? " I wasn't sure If i should tell him about all this stuff, i thought long and hard about it, till I was snapped back to reality. "Meg, are you there?" Ethan said waving his hand in front of my face. "Sorry, wasn't paying attention." "So are you gonna tell me what's wrong?" "I'm thinking about it.. I mean, would you even believe me? Would you stop hanging out with me?" "Meg, I'm confused. You can trust me, it can't be as silly as ghosts living or haunting the human race." Now I was positive I shouldn't tell him, but I decided to anyway.

"Wow, that is a hard to believe story." He said, still trying to put the pieces together. "I know but believe me or not, it's true. And I'm returning the girls stuff today or tomorrow." "Megan, you need help." "I knew I shouldn't have told you.." I said turning away. "I think I can walk the rest of the way, see you at school Ethan." "Ok, bye.." he was unsure of what to do, cause he stood in the same spot for a while, then started to walk in the opposite direction. One good thing happened just then, and it was that my crush for Ethan was over. I wasn't gonna change for him.
