Amamda's POV

I sit in the cell, worried. The officer comes in and leans against the wall.

"Sir, you've got to let me out of here, I didn't do it!" I say.

"Sorry, miss, I can't do that," he says.

I sigh. I sit against the wall and put my head in my hands.

Fox's POV

We all go from burning hot to soaking wet. We all have burns on our legs except for the little ones. Mom and Dad walk over to us.

"What happened?" Mom asks.

I sigh. "You know Amanda's boyfriend? Yeah. He came here after their date and trapped us in the collapsing barn. Then it caught fire. And we were stuck in it. And we had to get out, so the boys punched holes in the roof. Oh, yeah, he also landed Amanda in jail," I say.

"Amanda's in jail?" They say together.

I nod. "She was framed."

"Wait. You guys were in a fire?" They say together again.

"Uh, yeah, hence the burning building," Bryan says.

They call the fire department, then take us to the main house. We all go to the living room and turn on the TV. We put aloe on our burns. The firetruck showd up, and we look out the window as they put out the fire. We all pile into the car and go get Amanda. When we get there, Dad does the talking at first.

"Our daughter was framed, by someone who also set a fire in our barn," he said, "With twelve of our fifteen children in it."

The officer shakes his head. "And how do I know this is true?"

I step forward. "This," I say, showing him my ankle and my hair and wrists. The others follow my lead.

The officer paled. "And what us this boy's name?"

I'm ready. "Alex Romson."

He makes a note and gets Amanda. She comes out and hugs us.

"He set fire to our barn," I say.

She gasps. We all go home and then out to dinner.
