They arrived at the park, Dean stationing  his motor bike by a tree. Giant landed next to the tree and let  down Deidre, Hogarth, and Rover. Annie's hair was messed up from the wind and still had her arms wrapped around Dean, dazed. "Had fun, Dear?", Dean asked the stunned woman.

"Oh, that was quite a ride, Dean."
"I know. Your hair's done nicely, though."
Annie smirked while Hogarth and Deidre laughed, Giant seemed amused.
"After you, my lady." Dean helped Annie off the motor bike. Annie smoothed her hair and jacket.
"Annie, why don't we take a walk around the park. You'd like that."
"Of course. You know me well, Dean. Don't get into trouble, kids. You too, Giant, and you, Rover." Hand in hand, Dean and Annie went on a walk around the park. The kids and Giant watched them as a boy called out,
"Guys! Over here!"They turned to see their friends Harry, Sammy, Bully, Willy, Victor, and Rich nearby.

"Hey, coming over!"Hogarth and Deidre headed over to where the boys were. Rover  and Giant followed behind.
"Hello", he said to the boys.
"Hey, Giant!," the boys greeted back happy to see the robot.
"Hogarth you and Deidre want to play a game of football? It'll be four against four."
"Yeah, of course. You want to play, too, Deidre?" Deidre would usually play with the boys, as she is good at it, but declined.
"No, I'll stay and hang with Giant. I have to work on my Nova comic."
Willy perked up.
"Cool! Can't wait to see it afterwords. Come on, let's play."'  The boys, Hogarth, and Rover went to play while she sat with on Giant's foot, working on her comic book. Giant marveled at the statue of himself and Hogarth, feeling the smooth metal. He wanted to eat it, too, but knew better with Dean or Deidre around.

Deidre started to sing to herself, her voice light, Sweet-sounding, and full of beautiful Melodies. Giant listened to her sing contently. He loved hearing her sing, as it was the most beautiful sound he ever heard and would comfort him at night when he would sing to him. It somehow even felt familiar to him, yet he couldn't explain it, though. Anyways, even Hogarth her singing and smiled, mesmerized at the beautiful voice, so mesmerized that he dropped the ball, with Rover catching it. The boys complained and groaned.
"Aww, come on, Hogarth!", Harry complained, "Can't you not only pay attention your girlfriend all time and focus on the game? I know she's pretty and all, but geez!"

Hogarth blushed and glared slightly at Harry.
"She's not my girlfriend. She's just a close friend, that's all." He looked away.
"Oh, sure," Bully smirked and the other boys laughed, which made Hogarth blushed even harder. He looked up to see Deidre, who had stopped singing. with a beaming smile, her hazel eyes gleaming and radiating warmth. Giant waved at him. Hogarth smiled dreamily at the sight. His friends weren't wrong that he really like her.

After the football game, playing with Giant, and Deidre showing her comics to the boys, Hogarth and Deidre went to find Annie and Dean, while Giant played a game of fetch and seek with Rover. They found them on the bench together, talking and laughing. Hogarth and Deidre went over. Annie looked and smile at the kids.
"Hey, you all had a good time?"
"Yeah, we did." Hogarth glanced at Dean and winked, signaling that he should make his move and propose. Dean got the message and winked back.
"Well, I do have another thing in mind today, but first I want to tell you something, Annie."
"What is it, Dean?" Annie turned towards Dean and listened in.

"Annie, I really love  being your partner. You are the most beautiful, strong minded, and  kind-hearted woman I've ever met. You are a good mother to Hogarth and caring towards Deidre. I enjoy having you in my life, but I want to make sure that it is for the rest of my life."
Annie cocked her head.
"What do you mean, Dean." Hogarth and Deidre looked at each other smiling, Annie noticing.
"What are you two smiling about?"
That's when Dean got onto one knee. He pulled out the ring box. Annie gasped, covering her mouth.
"Dean, what is this?"
Dean opened the ring box, showing the ring.
"Anne Margaret Hughes, will you make me the luckiest man on Earth and marry me?"
Annie was speechless but had tears on her eyes. Smiling she nodded eagerly and cried out,
"Yes! Yes, I'll marry you, Dean."

Grinning ear to ear, Dean slid the ring onto Annie's finger. He swooped her off her feet and kissed her tenderly. Hogarth hollered with joy, fill with happiness. He ran towards Giant, gleefully crying, "Dean's gonna be my dad, Giant! He's gonna be my dad! Whoo hoo!"Deidre laughing smiling because was happy for Dean and Annie, but couldn't have been more happy for Hogarth, now that he gets to have both a mother and a father in his life, what he had always wanted. When Hogarth ran towards her, she leaned in and kissed his cheek.

Hogarth smiled at her and held Deidre hand, coming over to celebrate the engagement. Annie hugged her son then Deidre. Rover even joined in, jumping on Annie, making her laugh.
"Oh, I'm so happy! Dean's going to be your father officially! We'll have a full family again!"
"I know, Mom! I'm just so happy!"
Deidre stood by Giant and watched the family be happy together.
"I'm so happy for Hogarth, Giant. He's going to finally have that full family he always wanted. Aren't you happy, Giant."
"Yes. I'm happy," Giant answered, also very happy for his best friend.
