When I finished prepping for the meet up, Rias came up to me since I didn't close the door to my room. "Daniel." She started. "Sona and I came up with a few ideas. And we think you might like them."
"Well, I'll have to hear them another time. Like when I get back."
Rias looked at me with worry plain as day on her face. "Okay. Just be careful Daniel."
"I will." I said as I straigtened up. "Can you do something for me?"
"Sure."
"Watch over Tsubaki for me. And give her this." I handed Rias a small black box. She opened it and found a ring in it. "That's my family's ring. It has our family crest on it. If anything happens. You give her that and tell her to go directly to Uncle Luciano. He'll take it from there."
"You got it." She hugged me and I hugged her back.
"Thank you. For taking me in among other things. But mostly for giving me a new family."
"Your welcome." She let go and I headed out to Kuoh Acandemy.
Akeno and the others walked up to Rias as she was leaving my room. "What are we going to do Rias?" Akeno asked.
"Yeah. We can't let Daniel face his cousin alone."Koneko added.
"And I don't think Tsubaki were to forgive us if anything does happen to him." Kiba said.
"He won't be facing his cousin alone. Sona's already agreed along with me that all of us, her peerage included except Tsubaki are going to attend his meet up with his cousin and show him that he doesn't have to face anything alone. Not anymore." Rias said making everyone smile.
"But why can't Tsubaki come with us?" Xenovia asked.
"Sona's afraid that Daniel will be distracted if she's involved tonight. But I suggested that if his cousin gets away or somehow survives that Tsubaki stays with us. Well with Daniel actually in his room."
"That sounds fair." Asia smiled.
"Okay guys." She looked at a clock above the door. "It's ten fifteen. The meet ups at eleven at the school. Let's go help Daniel."
"Yeah." Everyone smiled as they agreed.

I arrived at the school at ten fifty on the dot and just sat down with my legs crossed and waited for Vinnie to show. When eleven o'clock chimed from the schools clock tower I stood up and looked around. "Well, you actually showed up." Vinnie said as he appeared behind me.
"I said I would."
"Damn. I was really hoping to pay a visit to your girl. She's a hot little number." He smiled as my face remained expressionless and cold. The Tempus Gauntlet appeared on my hand and when I reached my left hand out. The staff of Kronos 'Kinda' appeared in my hand. Instead of the staff. A sword appeared in my left hand.

Rias and the others were already in position and when Rias and Sona saw the sword, 'That's the third piece to the Staff of Kronos.' Sona whispered.
'What's the big deal about the sword?' Issei asked her.
'Nobody has ever successfully summoned the sword. It's always been either the staff nothing else.' Azazel said appearing between Sona and Issei. 'And that sword is said to be so sharp and perfect that anyone or anything cut by it will be frozen if not removed from existence. It depends on what the wielder wants.'
'Shit.' Issei said.

"Those weapons supposed to scare me Danny Boy." Vinnie said as I slowly lifted the gauntlet and clenched a fist causing multiple copies of myself to appear around him. All in different clothes and styles. I or 'we' attacked Vinnie and he dodged each and every swing of the sword. But I quickly got the upper hand on him when I faked him out with a downward slash of the sword and he leapt over me only to feel my foot kick him square in the back of the neck. Sending him flying into the ORC building.
"Scared now Vinnie?" I said temporarily planting the sword into the ground and clapping once making all the copies disappear. I picked the sword back up and he leapt into the air and I side stepped him and hit him with the butt of the sword handle. Kocking him back a few feet. He stared at me angrily and I stowed the sword on my back as a sheath appeared. I held up my right arm and opened the palm towards him and waited. He looked at me and after another second started charging at me. Once I held my left hand an inch away from my right arm and opened extended the pinky and index finger on my left hand. He froze in place. I turned my hand to the left which caused him to age forward. He screamed when the pains he would experience later in life wracked his body. I then barely twitched my right hand to the right. And he was once again frozen in place. Pain still evident on his face. I put both my arms down and he fell to the ground.
"Well. I thought I'd give you a free shot at me. No time tricks and no underhanded ideas." I pulled the sword from it's sheath and tossed it behind me. "I'll even make it easier for you." I exposed my back towards him. And he took the opprotunity and tackled me to the ground. But every time he hit me his fists would crack. He couldn't figure out why until I explained it to him. "The one thing about the Tempus Gauntlet. Is that the wearer as I've instinctively learned can make it so who ever the wearer faces feels ten times the pain inflicted on the wearer of the gauntlet. No matter where the wearer is hit or stabbed or blasted. The attacker feels ten times the pain. Have fun." He got real angry and started wailing on me as he turned me over and started pounding on my chest and stomach. Pretty soon his fists were bleeding, the bones in them almost non existent.
"Alright. You win." He cried as he held his hands close to his chest. "Lift this curse you put on me." He begged. I wobbily stood on my feet. "Even if I wanted to I won't."
"What?"
"You threatened my girlfriend. And that's one thing I just can't let pass." And before I knew it Sona and her peerage, Rias and the others appeared around me and Vinnie. "What are you guys doing here?" I asked them.
"We're here to help you." Sona said. Vinnie looked at all my friends and tried one last thing.
"You are a traitor to your family Daniel." He said.
"The only traitor here is you for coming after one of my servants." Rias said.
"And our friend." Sona added. The united number of peerages surrounded Vinnie and started beating him up and blasting him. I put my hand on Rias' shoulder and they all stopped and cleared a path for me.
"You see, Vinnie. This is what a true family is like. They look out for each other all the time. Not when it's convenient. Somewhere down the line my mom forgot that. As have you." I lifted my left hand and the sword zipped into my hand. "Unfortunately you've left me with no other option, since you threatened my girl." I swung the sword a few times and held it high over his head with the point hanging down. "I really wish it didn't have to come to this much less that I'd be the one to do it." I swiftly and harshly brought the point of the sword down into and through his skull and a split second later he vanished. "But I'll get over it." The sword vanished as did the gauntlet.
I turned to my friends. "You okay?" Issei asked along with Rias.
"Yeah. I should really box the ears of the person who came up with the plan of helping me. But I'm happy you all were here to look out for me." I smiled. I looked at me chest and stomach and barely took one step forward and passed out from massive blood loss. Sona and Rias took me to Issei's home and put me in my room. Asia did what she could to heal my cuts and broken open skin.

It took three weeks to fully heal from the fight with Vinnie and the wounds he inflicted. Asia came in twice a week and used her twilight healling on any remnants of the wounds. Tsubaki found out the next day after I passsed out and was put in bed and stayed by my side cuddling close to me at night and sitting next to my bed during the day.
On the last day of the third week, Rias walked into my room and stood beside Tsubaki. "Hey."
"Hey, Rias."
"Any change?"
"No."
"Well, he'll pull through he is part of the House of Gremory after all." Tsubaki smiled a bit at that. "Listen, Tsubaki. Daniel wanted me to give you this if anything happened to him." Rias handed her the black box.
"What is it?" Tsubaki asked as she took it from Rias.
"Something that I think you'll like." Rias said.
Tsubaki opened it and found my family crest ring. Tsubaki put her left hand to over her mouth and sobbed a bit.
"He also told me to have you got to his Uncle Luciano and that he would know what to do when he saw that ring on your finger."
"Thank you for giving me this Rias as per his instructions." Rias smiled. "But I'm not going anywhere." Rias understood. Because there were times when she did the same exact thing when Issei was injured.
Then Sona came in via transportation circle. "Well, Tsubaki. Everything has been taken care of. Daniel's homework and his sick days have been excused." Sona said.
"Thank you, Mistress." Tsubaki said.
"By the way, since Open house has already passed. I've decided or me and Rias have agreed to have you stay here with Daniel. That way when your responsibilities and work is done. You can come here and spend all the time you want with him." Tsubaki kept looking at me and Sona and Rias just left her alone. Before they left the room my hands and arms started moving gently. Tsubaki smiled as I gently opened my eyes.
"Daniel?" She asked and I opened and blinked my eyes about a few dozen times before looking around and seeing Tsubaki sitting next to the bed.
"You know. This isn't a hospital bed Princess." I said making Sona and Rias instantly turn around in shock.
"Oh, Daniel. I was so worried you wouldn't wake up." Tsubaki slid in next to me.
"Yeah. It was touch and go there for a while." I agreed. "You have no idea what I had to go through to come back to you Princess." I smiled as Tsubaki curled her legs under her. "But it's definitely worth the price." I kissed her forehead and the rest of the house including Saji from Sona's peerage came into my room and surrounded my bed. Even Azazel and my Uncle and Father were there. Everyone said how great it was to have me back but I was more focused on Tsubaki.
"We better leave them alone." My Father said.
"Yeah. Come on, everyone out." Uncle Luciano started herding everyone out even Rias and Sona were rushed out of my room. But they understood and didn't try to fight my father and uncle over who was actually in charge. Once my door closed.
"Tsubaki. I have a very important question to ask you." She lifted her head and looked at me. "Will you marry me?" She grinned and kissed me for five minutes and I wrapped my arms around her.
"Yes. But promise me that when something like this happens again. You make sure you tell me." She said referring to my fight with Vinnie.
"You got it Princess."
"One more thing. Once you get better. I would like for you to propose to me again. This time on one knee."
"Sounds fair." I smiled. She kissed me once more before resting her head on my chest.
