It was a rather normal day for me as I woke up in a hotel room paid for by my Uncle Luciano. I got up, showered and dressed in my school uniform and got a head start of going to the academy to meet with the headmaster.

I walked the entire way to Kuoh Academy and made my way to the headmasters office. Once I got there I sat through an entire school policy and rules lecture. Once it was over, the headmaster called in the student council president and vice president Sona Sitri and Tsubaki. "Hello Daniel, I'm Sona the Student Council President and this is Tsubaki the Student Council Vice President."
"Nice to meet you ladies." I said with a slight smile.
"I have a few things to attend to so Tsubaki will show you around and answer any questions you may have."
"Yes President." Tsubaki said as she bowed. Sona left me and Tsubaki alone and I observed how Tsubaki reacted to being alone with me. She wasn't nervous about it. But I could tell something was bothering her.
"If you want to go do something else I'm sure I can find my way." I smiled. She looked at me in surprise.
"No. I'll be fine. Shall we?" She led me around the school explaining every building and it's history. To a certain extent I felt like I was back home in Rome on a tour of the Coliseum or the Pantheon. I smiled as we got to the tail end of the tour of the school. "Any questions?"
"None to be had here." I approached her gently. "Thank you for showing me around. I do hope we see each other again soon." I gently took her hand in mine and lifted it to my lips and kissed it. And smiled at Tsubaki. She smiled and blushed before I turned and started walking away. I couldn't help shake the thought of what could possibly have been bothering her so much.
I arrived in class and sat in a seat behind a blonde kid who acted like he was hot shit. In fact at the end of class when Tsubaki came to retrieve him for a student council meeting for which he was the clerk. She noticed me and smiled. I went as far as to approach her before she led Saji away.
"My Lady Tsubaki." I smiled.
"Hello Daniel." She blushed. I bowed and kissed her hand gently. Which made her face become a deeper shade of red.
"I do hope your day is going well." She nodded. "Excellent. Well I best not keep you from your business. Shall we get together this Saturday for just a cup of tea or coffee possibly a walk along the river."
"That sounds great. I'll check my schedule and get back to you."
"I await with trembling anticipation." I smiled as I headed to the library to do some homework before heading back to my hotel room. As I sat at the table in the center of the library I could feel someone watching me. I didn't let it bother me though. I got through two classes worth of homework and packed my backpack and slung it over my shoulder and left school and headed to my hotel room.

I was barely a few blocks from the hotel when something attacked me. I sidestepped it and super kicked to the ground and it lay motionless on the ground and I placed my foot onto its throat and asked, "Why are you following me much less attacking me?" When I didn't get a reply I twisted my foot killing it and continued on my way.
"He's very good." Sona smiled.
"That He is. But which peerage will get him?" Rias asked.
"Well it's apparent that he likes Tsubaki. So I think he'd love to be close to her."
"That aside. He doesn't look like the type that enjoys listening to bureaucrats or politics much less. So I think he'd like it more in my peerage. As a rook."
"And I'll make sure Tsubaki gets time to see and be with him." Sona slid her glasses up the bridge of her nose and smiled.
"Then we're in agreement then?"
"Yes we are."
"The only question is how to approach him."

I arrived at my hotel room and before I could slide the keycard into the slot I was approached a beautiful raven haired woman in sexy red dress and she handed me a flier. "Here you go. You may need this." She said. I looked at the flier and back where the girl was standing and she was gone. I pocketed the flier and once the door beeped signaling it was unlocked I walked in. And found a beautiful redhead in my room.
"Hello mother."
"Son. Have a good first day away from your family."
"You mean did I have a relaxing first day away from family drama and all the bullshit vendettas. Yeah I did until you showed up."
"I spoke to your father."
"Of course you did. What did you convince that deadbeat of this time?"
"That's no way to speak of your father."
"And what should I say about you mother. Uncle Luciano was always there unlike you and pop. Your just here because I'm your way in to supposedly end the vendetta with the Gremory's and Sitri's." My eyes told the story of how much my 'parents ' left me on Uncle Luciano's doorsteps and didn't even bother checking up on me. One big reason I was happy to be going to Kuoh Academy. Away from Italy and all the family drama and vendettas that came with it. "I'm going to say this once more mother. I'm not helping you at any capacity. Nor do I want anything to do with you or the rest of the family. So leave me alone. Good to never see you again and don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out." She looked at me and her face became one of despair. But she left me alone all the same. I went straight to bed after finishing my leftover homework. I slept like a baby all night.

The next morning when I woke up I felt a presence and looked to the seat across from the bed. "Daniel." Said the gray haired gentleman.
"Uncle Luciano. What's up?"
"Your mother told me what you said and she was less than pleased to say the least."
"Then maybe she shouldn't have come back around me like the past twelve years never happened. And I swear if you defend her in anyway. I'll hand ya the room key back and find other ways to get some sleep."
"I wasn't going to defend her Daniel. I was just surprised that you did it so bluntly."
"I know that she just wants to use me as an in to end a centuries long forgotten grudge between the Rossi's and the Gremory's and Sitri's. I'm not going to help do that. Period. Now if you'll excuse me I have school to dress and prep for."
Luciano left the room and I got dressed and prepped for school and left for the long walk to it.

Meanwhile at Kuoh Academy...
Sona and Tsubaki were in front of the school as was Rias and Akeno. When I got to school all of them approached me.
"Hi, Daniel. I'm ..."
"Rias Gremory. Next in line head of the House is Gremory and Akeno Himejima. Daughter to Shuri a shrine maiden and Baraqiel a fallen angel. I already know you Sona. Tsubaki, since you're here as well I suppose this means that we're not going out this Saturday. That's okay." I walked by them and Rias was the first to speak up. "Daniel. You got us all wrong."
"Ohh?" I asked.
"Daniel. We came to put forth a proposition to you." Sona said.
"I'm listening."
"Rias has an opening for a rook in her peerage. And we all know that you like Tsubaki here so we were hoping that you would join our ranks and..."
"Go out with me." Tsubaki smiled.
"Just one date or more than one as in boyfriend and girlfriend? Just looking for specifics."
"What do you think Sona?" Rias asked her.
"It's up to Tsubaki." Sona replied. Rias, Akeno and Sona looked to Tsubaki.
"Well, Tsubaki darling. What do you say?" I asked her with a wide smile.
Tsubaki approached me with  a matching smile. "Do you promise to give us time together?" She asked Sona.
"Yes. Every Saturday and Sunday in the afternoon. Even a couple hours every night. Sound fair?"
"Yes it does Sona." Tsubaki smiled.
"We'll renegotiate it at a later date. Like when me and Tsubaki take our relationship to the next level."
"Agreed Daniel." Sona cringed.
Tsubaki leapt into my arms.
