This became a problem since Shawn even asked for a picture of where Adam was but he couldn't since he was hanging out with his step-sister Erica. Erica didn't allow Adam to use his phone. Shawn got annoyed and started crying over the phone since he thought Adam was with another guy. Then he started to talk to his mom and how Adams mom was very strict and didn't allow him to hang out with Shawn. Then one infamous day Shawn called Adam and said they should break up. Adam agreed and then Shawn hung up. This gave the demon more power and the Angel less. This was the beginning to adams declination into a forever depression. He started to get more jealous and spiteful against every couple. He even began to feel spite towards his mom and her partner. He wanted to see them break up to see how they would feel being apart. And then one day he snapped. He went to work and he had a plan that the demon side gave him. Adam was given the impression that the only way to be happy is through a certain way he wasn't willing to participate in at first but then did anyway. He bought some sleeping pills to help him sleep or so the demon suggested. This seemed innocent enough so the Angel let it slide. What the Angel and Adam didn't know was the true purpose for the sleeping pills. After that day he went home and was going to take some but then Adam realized what the sleeping pills were for and stopped. He then returned them the next day and got his money back and went to buy Burrito beacon with that money.
