Lori Loud was in the college library reading through a novel that her teacher wanted her to make an essay on. She knew that Leni would hear any moment so she can help her with her studies.

"Lori! Sorry I was late." A voice said. Lori sighed and turned around to see your younger sister. Don't get her wrong, she loved her...however, she was still ditzy and clumsy. Luckily, she had plenty of friends to help her though.

"Shh...this is a library, Leni. You have to be a little quieter." Lori said. Leni nodded and quickly sat down next to her sister. As she took out an assignment that she packed into her bag, Leni couldn't help herself from thinking about her little brother. He was fifteen and having a great time with his soulmate, Ronnie Anne.

Though....knowing how protective she is, Leni doubted that she will be silent about their actions for long. She may even do something that she may regret. Now she can look past anything, but could the others do the same? No. They may do something crazy and like always...she may be forced to help.

"Leni! Are you listening to me?" Lori said next to her.

"Sorry...I was thinking about Chad." Leni said. It wasn't exactly a lie, but it wasn't the full truth either. Lori seemed to have bought it as she quickly went back to telling her how to solve the current problem. She had to be more careful...one wrong move and things may go downhill.

At the same time, Luna was rocking out with her soulmate, Sam and the rest of her band. They had a little gig coming up and they had to get ready. Sure, they had to juggle classes and assignments, but you can never be too prepared for something that really mattered to you.

"Luna, this sounds awesome." Sam said.

"I know. Lincoln helped me with it." Luna said. Sam almost frowned when she heard that, but quickly masked it with a smile. Luna has always had Lincoln help her, but has she ever thanked him for what he's done? No. Leni told her when she talked with her about their little brother. She even admitted that she was guilty of the same thing and has always regretted it.

"That's great. I'm glad that he's always helping." Sam said after a couple of seconds. She just had to act normal. If they knew something was wrong then...who know's what would happen to her. So she just pretended that it was fine so Luna wouldn't know that she knew.

Things were always like this and it will stay the same. No matter what happens. Sam said without the slightest clue of things to come. The same could be said for everyone near the Loud family who could shatter the foundations of the family...forever.

Hope you enjoyed the chapter...Bye 👋
