I reached up and kissed Minho realizing that what he just said was absolutely true. It had been too long.
"How are our babies?" I say once the kiss was over. I looked deep into Minho's eyes to find the emotions he genuinely felt,
Newt chuckled a little at my question. "Minho tried to take them into the maze about four times. Sometimes I wonder what's going on in that shuck brain of his." Newt was already standing and almost out of the door to the infirmary before he finished what he was saying.
I looked at Minho, slightly annoyed, but I also started laughing. "You tried to take them into the maze!" I had a huge smile on my face.
Minho blushed "Ya. I did."
"Well at least they're not hurt." Jess said "No harm done." Newt had already left with a chuckle. Minho laid in the bed next to me. I turned on my side to face him.
"Minho." I said with a smile. "You are the keeper of my heart."
"And you are mine." He said pulling me in for a kiss. "I love you so, so much."
"Don't you ever do something like that." I said sternly. "You scared me half to death!"
"I'm sorry, but I think I found a way out." Minho said. "You were right about the greivers way out being our escape. And I found it. Its like a hole off the cliff. I wanna show you but you're in no condition to even stand up."
"No I can get up." I tried to sit up but Minho stopped me.
"Don't. I don't want you getting hurt any more than you are. You took one heck of a beating." Minho said on the verge of tears. "It's the first time I ever hoped for someone to get knocked out. Just so you wouldn't feel it."
I lay back down with a groan. It hurts really bad to move, but I wanted to show Minho that I was strong. That he shouldn't treat me different just because I'm a girl. I know that Minho doesn't think of me that way. To him I'm one of the toughest gladers. But not everyone thinks of me that way. Seeing as how Alby beat me like he did.
As if he had read my thoughts Minho added, "Its not because your a girl. Its because I care about you."
