I laughed wildly as I raced out of the camp.

As I ran, I pulled my hair up in a ponytail and sheathed my daggers in my corset. The look on their faces, especially Jimmy's, were priceless.

I turned to see Fwhip following me. Did this man have a death wish? I just ran faster. I had kinda broken Scott's rule of, "don't let them see me," but, the dragon was out of the bag now and there was nothing I could do about it.

The border was a few miles away, and I made a break for it. Less than half an hour later, the barricade came into sight.

Thousands of soldiers lined the valley that bordered Rivendale, standing around 100ft from it. But I didn't slow down.

"SHOOT HER!" I heard Fwhip shout from behind me. They aimed their crossbows and bows. I smirked. I loved a challenge.

I weaved through the arrows flying past me and ran straight towards them. The soldiers seemed to panic when I didn't slow down.

One hundred feet, eighty feet, fifty feet, I got closer, my calves starting to burn. The soldiers realized what was going on and unsheathed their swords. "DON'T LET HER INTO RIVENDALE!" Fwhip shouted, his voice fading as he started to fall back.

Thirty feet, twenty feet, ten feet, I hit the ground. I slid right underneath a man's legs and continued my sprint towards the chasm. There was a bridge about a mile down the line, but it was barricaded, and I would never make it this far with all these people on my tail. So instead, I ran straight for the ravine.

The edge was getting closer...so I sped up. Ten feet from the chasm, five feet, one foot... I jumped. I know, that's crazy. The chasm is several hundred feet wide.

Magic exploded from my body and boosted me to the other end. I smashed into it with my back and skidded down a few feet before I managed to find a handhold and hoist myself up onto the other side.

I straightened up and wiped my nose on my sleeve. I looked up at Fwhip who was staring at me in absolute shock.

"See you tomorrow." I smirked and made a rude hand gesture Scott would have approved of before running into the city towards the palace.
