3rd Person POV:-

All the lights in the whole dorm turned off. The room was lit by the moonlight. Todoroki used his quirk to further spread light in the room.

" I think the electricity is gone. But it's odd, why is it gone in our dorm only and at such short notice? " Izuku asks.

" Wait, Kaminari are you standing near any electrical outlet? " Ida asks.

" I am near the fridge. But why are you asking? " he replies.

" Did you sneeze? Because whenever you sneeze, you release very high current electricity " Ida speaks.

" No, I did not sneeze" he replies.

" Let me rephrase, Kaminari did you tried to hold your sneeze? " Jiro asks.

He slowly nods his head.

" Damn it Kaminari, that's worse than you sneezing. I had to find it the hard way when you electrocuted my digital synthesizer. You short-circuited the whole dorm electricity supply through that fridge " Jiro scolds him.

" Let me call Aizawa sensei to do something about this " Momo calls him.

" What is he saying? " Ida asks her.

" Listen to this " she puts the call on speaker.

" If you are any member of Class 1 A then I don't want to listen to your complains. If there is any problem then handle it yourself. I need my sleep and I am not getting paid to handle you kids. And besides, it is not my responsibility to fix anything you break. If you are someone else, leave a message after the beep " the voice message answers.

" He is definitely not going to come here tonight. So, what are we going to do? " Ochako asks.

" I know, we can have a sleepover on the dorm terrace " Ashido suggests.

" Isn't sleeping in our own rooms more logical than sleeping outside " Tokoyami states.

" Shut up Tokoyami. Do you want to get roasted in your room or what? " she scolds him.

" That was offensive. But I guess you are right. Without air condition, our rooms are basically oven and the weather outside is good " he replies.

" Okay, so it is decided. We are going to bring our sleeping bag and met at the terrace in 10 minutes " she announces.

" Have anyone seen Kaminari? I want to kill him " Bakugo screams in the background.

" He got dragged by Jiro to her room *ribbit*. Apparently, they had a deal that he had to power her room in case of a blackout " Tsu tells him.

" Leave him for now Bakugo. He is facing his punishment right now. We will see him later " Sero and Kirishima took him to his room.

Later at the terrace:-

The full moon was spreading its glory in the vicinity. The coldness of the breeze was relaxing everyone. Due to the location of UA on a hill, the whole city was in the view of the spectators. Some were gazing the beauty they thought didn't exist in that place, while some had their eyes shut after a long day.

Izuku and Ochako were sitting near the edge, looking at the twinkling lights in the sky and the city.

" Uraraka, can I again ask you some things? I can't remember some things and I want to know about it " he asks her.

" Sure. No problem. Besides the doctor told me that you would have many questions. So I am prepared " she replies.

" Do you remember how we met? I remember that I thanked you for saving my life but I don't remember the previous day events. And how did you save my life? " he asks.

' It's best if he doesn't know about that incident. He had to go through so much. I don't want him to feel that burden again ' she thinks.

" Oh, it was nothing. You dropped your wallet while shopping. I found it and returned it to you. I was surprised when you gave me chocolate the next day to thank me for returning your wallet. You were so silly. That's how we met and became friends " she lies.

" To think I did something like that, it's so embarrassing " he tries to hide his face.

" Hey, don't think like that. You are funny when you are like that " she cheers him.

" What are you two doing? " Hagaruke suddenly asks surprising the two.

" Don't scare us like that. We are just admiring the night beauty " Ochako replies.

" Today is a full moon. Do you know the old saying that while looking at the full moon, you think of the most important thing in your life? " Hagaruke tells them.

" Let me try. Umm, I just feel hollow inside seeing the moon. As if I don't know who I am. I know it sounds weird. But it's like I am not who I think am " Izuku speaks.

" That is weird but quite deep. Anyway, what do you think Ochako? " Hagaruke asks.

" Seeing this full moon makes me think of that night. The best moment of my life that this full moon has witnessed " she says.

" Toru, come here. I found something interesting " Ashido calls her.

" I will leave you two alone " Hagaruke leaves.

" By the way which night are you talking about? " he asks her.

" Do you not remember that night, the dance night? " she asks him, wishing that he remembers that night.

" No. Wait, wasn't that the day when my condition became critical and I was admitted to the hospital " he replies.

" Yes, it was that day. But you don't remember anything that happened that day? " she again asks, her heart slowly getting faster.

" No, all I know that there was a dance party and we had to bring a partner or something like that. Did I go to the party with someone? " he asks.

Ochako's heart was shattered. Her world was flipped upside down. She couldn't control her tears. She hid her face with her hands to not let him know.

" Can you excuse me? I think something went into my eye. I need to wash my face " she excuses herself.

" Sure " he replies.

She heads towards the stairs.

" Hey Midoriya, it's quite late. We got to sleep now if we have to do our training early in the morning. You will need to do extra training after your break " Ida calls him sometime after Ochako left.

" Okay, Ida. Just like you always say, early to bed, wake before dawn or what I prefer, wake before Bakugo starts screaming " he prepares to sleep.

He stares the sky in his sleeping bag waiting for sleep to take over.

' I wonder with whom I went to the party if I did. Probably someone beautiful like Uraraka ' he thinks.

Lost in his thoughts, he shuts his eyes.

Meanwhile:-

Near the stairs:-

Ochako was crying with her legs tucked up to her chest.

" Why did you have to forget those memories only? Why of all memories, just those memories? Why did you forget our promise? Why? " she speaks to herself while crying.

She takes out the locket from her pocket. She opens it to reveal the photo in both the halves. Tears falling on it. She stares at the photo and cries even more.

" Ochako? "

She looks up and sees Asui, who followed her to find out what happened.

" What happened Ochako? " Tsu asks her.

" No-othing " she tries to lie.

" There is something that happened. You can tell me what happened. Maybe I can help you? " Tsu comforts her.

" Can you give me some time? " she asks, wiping her tears.

Tsu nods in response. Ochako takes some deep breath to calm herself. She finally musters the courage to speak up.

" It's about Izuku. He is different now "

" Why are you saying like that? "

" Because he forgot, everything that happened that night. He forgot that he loves me. He forgot me " she again starts to cry.

Tsu hugs her to comfort her. 

" Ochako, I think you should tell him about that night if he forgot that. He will then know how he feels about you. And if you can't tell then I can tell him " Tsu suggests.

" NO! You are not going to tell him. I don't want him to know about that night. What if he doesn't love me now. He might just force himself to think that he loves me. What if he doesn't accept the truth? What if he rejects me now? I have to let him go. I will have to move on " she decides.

" But Ochako " 

" NO. You will not tell him anything. Please. I will just forget him like he did. Maybe this is the best thing for both of us. I will handle it somehow. It could take time but maybe I would forget all of this " she wipes her tears.

" Okay. I will not tell him. But Ochako please think about this again. Will you be able to do this? " she asks her again.

" Yes. I would eventually do it "

And a long time has gone, isn't it?

I suggest you read the edited chapters if you haven't. It's not just minor edits but some plot related changes. If you don't read it then there could be inconsistency with the new chapters. For example, according to the old chapters, Ochako didn't give him the memory herself. But the situation is different now. She did give him all the memories but he doesn't remember that night or that he loves her. So, you can see how this is conflicting with each other. 

And, I have already written this in my post but I don't know how many have read it. I have removed, the cancer part, DNA part and some other things too for some reasons. It was confusing. There were flaws in that explanation. It didn't fit well in a quirk universe. It was thanks to you readers that I found out about it. And my special thanks to Shonaku for persuading me to change all that part and rewrite my story.

I am sorry for doing this but please read the edited chapters. Hope you can spare me. (*Bowing intensifies*)
