SORA [P.O.V.]

Donald, Goofy and I were flying to another world. After the Monstro incident, I wondered what happened to Y/N and Riku. Since Y/N knows how to handle worlds than me I wished that she was here and safe. I also hoped she found Riku or Kairi. The gummi ship was approaching a world.

Donald: "Okay, guys. Prepare for landing."

"Land where? In the sea? We'll drown!"

Donald: "Not with my magic, we won't. Just leave it to me."

AUTHOR [P.O.V.]

In the ocean world, there was a big clam in a cave. 3 bright lights were shown in the water and, Sora, Donald and Goofy, appeared but in different forms. Sora was a mermaid, Donald was an octopus and Goofy was a turtle.

Sora: "Woah! This is so cool! I wish Y/N would see this. I bet she would love this."

Then a mermaid, a fish and a crab were swimming their way.

???: "Come on, Sebastian!"

Sebastian: "Ariel, wait! Slow down! Don't leave me behind!"

The red crab named Sebastian was swinging his arms or crab arms trying to catch up. Then stops in front of an angry Donald, who was hanging upside down. Sebastian screams and quickly swims back to the red-haired mermaid named, Ariel.

Ariel [giggles]: "Relax, Sebastian. They don't look like one of them. Right, Flounder?"

Ariel turns to her fish friend, Flounder who was hiding behind her.

Flounder: "I don't know. There's something weird about them."

Sora chuckles nervously as he raises an eyebrow.

Sora: "What do you mean?"

Ariel swims around Sora, inspecting him.

Ariel: "They do seem... a little different. Where are you from?"

Sora: "Uh... We're from kind of far away. And we're not really used to these waters."

Goofy and Flounder were staring at each other and Sora chuckles nervously, very nervously.

Ariel: "Oh, I see. In that case... Sebastian can show you how we swim around here."

Sebastian and Donald were staring down at each other until Ariel mentioned his name.

Sebastian: "Ariel, King Triton will not like this!"

Sebastian complains when Ariel hears her father's name, as she groans and rolls her eyes.

Ariel: "Oh, don't worry."

Sebastian: "Easy for you to say... Okay, it's time you learn how to swim properly."

Sora: "Okay!"

Sebastian: "Practice swimming with Flounder. Try to tag him. All right. Begin."

Sebastian taught Sora, Donald and Goofy how to swim in the water. Sora was following Flounder around and he was doing great.

Sebastian: "Good job. Now let's move onto self-defense."

Ariel: "Sebastian!"

Ariel calls out to Sebastian with a worried and scared tone. Sebastian turns to Ariel as she was pointing to a group of Heartless swimming their way. Ariel and Flounder started to swim away.

Sebastian: "Class is over. Good luck!"

Sebastian slowly follows them. Ariel swims through a hole as Sebastian and Flounder hide inside the giant clam. The Heartless arrives. Sora takes out his Keyblade and starts to attack the Heartless, the trio quickly destroys them. After they were gone, Ariel came out of the cave. The group hear Sebastian and Flounder banging clam trying to get out. Sora hits it with his Keyblade and they were able to get out.

Ariel: "Those creatures chased us here."

Sebastian: "Oh, no! Those monsters might be heading for the palace, too!"

Ariel: "We'd better head back right away!"

Flounder: "But, wh-what if we run into more on our way back?"

Ariel turns to Sora and the others.

Ariel: "I'm sorry, but we need your help. Please come to the palace with us. The trident markers on the walls point the way there. We won't get lost as long as we follow them."

Sora: "Sure!"

Ariel: "Okay, let's get going."

Sora, Donald, and Goofy defeat the Heartless that appear. However, they worry there may be more headed to the palace. Together with Ariel and her friends, they head to the palace to make sure everyone's all right. They entered the palace and were being chased by Heartless until they were struck by lighting.

???: "That was too close."

Ariel turns to the merman, who saved them. Ariel swam to the throne.

???: "As long as I have my trident, I will not tolerate those creatures inside this palace."

Ariel: "Daddy!"

???: "Oh, Ariel! When will you listen? It's dangerous out there!"

Ariel groans as her father lecture her.

???: "Strange creatures lurk outside."

Sora and Donald let out a shocked expressions.

Sebastian: "Behold. You swim before the ruler of the seas: His Majesty, King Triton."

Triton: "And who are they?"

Ariel: "They helped us fight off those creatures."

Triton: "They don't look familiar."

Sora: "We're from an ocean very far away."

Goofy: "Yup. We came to find the Keyhole."

Triton lets out a shocked expression when Goofy said the 'Keyhole'.

Triton: "The what?"

Goofy swims around Ariel as she had her hand behind her back.

Ariel: "What's that?"

Goofy: "A-hyuck! Well, it's a—"

Then Triton let out an outburst.

Triton: "There's no such thing! Certainly not here!"

Ariel: "But, Daddy..."

As Ariel tries to reason with her dad, but he lets out an angry expression, as Sebastian covers his mouth.

Triton: "Ariel, not another word! You are not to leave the palace. Is that clear?"

Then Ariel swims away, upset with the trio following behind. Triton shakes his head and rests his head on his hand.

Triton: "Perhaps I'm being too strict..."

Sebastian swims in front of him.

Triton: "I'm just concerned for her safety."

Triton watched Ariel and the trio swim away from a distance.

Sebastian: "Of course, Your Majesty. But I must admit, now I'm quite curious about this Keyhole."

Triton places his hand over Sebastian.

Triton: "That need not concern you, Sebastian. Have you anything to report?"

Sebastian: "Just as you suspected, Your Majesty, they seem to be coming from Ursula's grotto."

Triton: "I knew it. That sea witch is up to no good again. I see exile from the palace has taught her nothing."

Sebastian: "Yes, she poses serious danger."

Triton: "And I told you to keep Ariel away from such danger, did I not?"

Sebastian: "Your Majesty, please, I, uh..."

Sebastian lost his words.

~WITH ARIEL, FLOUNDER, SORA, DONALD & GOOFY~

Ariel didn't listen to her father and went out of the palace and led the trio somewhere.

Ariel: "Come to my grotto. I want to show you something. There it is. See?"

Ariel points to a boulder blocking something. Ariel and Sora move the boulder away and they all went in to see, Ariel's collection from the modern surface.

Ariel: "Look at all the wonderful things Flounder and I've collected. I think it's all from the outside world. Someday, I'm going to see what's out there. I want to see other worlds. Does that sound strange?"

Sora: "No. Not at all. I used to feel the same way."

Ariel: "Used to?"

Sora: "I mean... I still do."

Ariel: "Hey, why don't we try looking for that Keyhole you were talking about?"

Sora: "But your father said—"

Ariel: "Oh, he treats me like a little girl. He never wants to let me do anything. He just... He just doesn't understand."

As they talked they didn't notice a certain red crab listening in on their conversation. Sora, Donald, Goofy, Ariel and Flounder left the Grotto not knowing they were being spied on by two sneaky eels and were being monitored. A lady with purple skin and had tentacles.

??? [laughs]: "Those impudent fools will never find the Keyhole. But the girl could prove useful. And I've got the Heartless on my side. Triton, my old friend... Your day is coming. [laughs]"

~WITH SORA, DONALD, GOOFY, ARIEL AND FLOUNDER~

Sora and the others went to a sunken ship where Ariel visited to find for her collection in the Grotto. As they entered inside they didn't see a large shadow swimming by. As they were looking around a shark smashed through the already broken windows from the sunken ship and nearly ate Sora, Donald, Goofy, Ariel and Flounder. Luckily none of them got hurt as the shark swam away. Sora then saw a chest lying on the floor, he opened it and saw a Crystal Trident. Ariel looked closely at the item.

Ariel: "Hm. Its shape reminds me of something..."

They took the Crystal Trident and as they got out they ran into the shark that tried to eat them earlier. They quickly defeated it as it swam away. They went back to the Grotto and they placed the Crystal Trident and placed on the rock that shaped exactly like it as they placed it and waited for something to happen they then heard King Triton's angry tone with Sebastion behind him.

Triton: "Ariel, you've disobeyed me again! I told you not to leave the palace!"

He then saw the Crystal Trident. He raised his Trident with his powers ready to destroy it.

Ariel: "Daddy, no!"

As Ariel tried to stop him it was too late. The lightning struck the Crystal Trident shattered into pieces as Ariel looked hurt.

Ariel: "How could you..."

She then swam away with an upset look. King Triton watched her swim away with his expression unchanged. He then turned to Sora.

Triton: "Young man, you're not from another ocean. You're from another world. Aren't you?"

Sora: "Huh?"

Sora, Donald and Goofy looked at the King surprised.

Triton: "Then you must be the key bearer."

Not knowing what to do in this situation Sora came clean.

Sora: "How did you know?"

Triton: "You may fool Ariel, but you can't fool me. You don't know your dorsal fin from your tail."

Sora: "Aw..."

Triton: "As the key bearer, you must already know... One must not meddle in the affairs of other worlds."

Sora: "Of course I know that, but..."

As Sora tried to argue he lost his words.

Triton: "You have violated this principle. The key bearer shatters peace and brings ruin."

Goofy: "Aw, Sora's not like that. Not even Y/N, if she was he."

King Triton turned around ready to leave the Grotto.

Triton: "I thank you for saving my daughter. But there is no room in my ocean for you or your key."

He then swam away with Sebastian following behind. Sora summoned his Keyblade and looked at it. As for Ariel, she was crying somewhere in the ocean in a rocky area. Then two sneaky, eavesdropping eels came back and saw Ariel.

Flotsam: "My, my, the poor child suffers such deep sorrow."

They then circled around Ariel.

Jetsam: "What a pity. If only there were something we could do..."

Flotsam: "Wait. Maybe she can be of some help."

Jetsam: "Yes. Maybe she can be of some help to you."

They both stopped in front of Ariel who looked at them confused.

Ariel: "Who're you talking about?"

Flotsam: "Oh, she would surely help you."

Jetsam: "She'd make all your dreams come true."

Then they both swam up and entangled themselves together and disappeared in a cloud of black smoke.

Flotsam & Jetsam: "Ursula can help..."

Replacing the eels a purple octopus lady showed up.

Ursula: "You called, my dear?"

Ariel: "You're Ursula? I was just wondering if—"

Ursula: "It's all right. Helping others is what I live for. Let me guess. You wish to see other worlds. That shouldn't be too hard. After all, your new friends came from another world."

Ariel looked at Ursula in surprise.

Ariel: "What?"

Ursula: "But they had special help— that mysterious key."

Ariel then looked down as Ursula 'comforted' Ariel.

Ursula: "Now, now. Cheer up, sweetie. You have something special, too."

Ariel: "Huh?"

Ursula: "Now listen carefully."

Ariel leaned in closer to Ursula as she whispered something into Ariel's ear.

Ursula: "I think the Keyhole they seek is somewhere in the palace. Now, my dear, if you can take me there without your daddy knowing... I can help you get to these other worlds you long for."

Ariel swam inside the throne room. Her father wasn't there only the trident. Ariel looked back at Ursula as the witch was hiding behind the pillars. Moments later, as Ariel handed over the trident to Ursula, King Triton was too weak to fight against her without his trident as he was sitting on his throne looking weak, with Ariel by his side.

Ursula [laughs]: "The trident is mine at last! And I couldn't have done it without your help, my dear."

Ariel: "Ursula, no! I didn't want this!"

Ursula: "Why not? Aren't you tired of following your dear daddy's orders? Oh, yes. We had a deal, didn't we? Time for a little journey— to the dark world of the Heartless!"

Flotsam: "We cannot find the Keyhole."

Jetsam: "The Keyhole is not here."

Ursula: "What?"

Ursula shrieks, she then hears somebody coming, to see Sora, Donald and Goofy.

Ursula: "Why, we have company. I'm afraid you're a little late, handsome!"

Ursula then disappears in a cloud of smoke along with her eels. Ariel looks over at her father worriedly.

Ariel: "Daddy!"

Triton: "The trident... We must get it back."

Sora: "Come on, let's go!"

Sora, Donald and Goofy was about to leave until Ariel stopped in front of them

Ariel: "Wait, I'm going with you! My father is hurt and it's all my fault. I have to stop Ursula!"

Sora nods allowing Ariel to come with them.

Sebastian: "That's right. I'm right behind you, Ariel."

King Triton then tells them on how to defeat Ursula.

Triton: "Ursula draws power from her cauldron. To defeat Ursula, you must strike her cauldron with magic. Ursula seems to come from the direction of the sunken ship. I've heard there's a contraption on the wall behind the shipwreck. Ursula draws power from her cauldron. To defeat Ursula, you must strike her cauldron with magic."

Everyone swam back to the sunken ship as Flounder said he spotted something in the rocky area. As they went there they spotted the stone that was a different colour from the other rocks. Sebastion pushed it and it opened an entrance to the Den of Tides where Ursula's lair was. They swam further in until they see a dragon skeleton. They entered inside and saw things underneath them looking weak and... creepy.

Sora: 'Y/N would NOT like this.'

As they entered inside where Ursula was hiding.

Donald: "Come out! You can't run!"

Sebastian: "Your time has come!"

Sebastian and Donald yelled out to Ursula to come out of her shell. As soon as she jumped out of her shell with a scary look on her face causing Donald and Sebastian to scream. Ursula threw some kind of potion into her cauldron as they had a fight with Ursula at the same time destroying the cauldron. After the fight, Ursula's eel was turned into smoke as she gasped.

Ursula: "You'll pay for this!"

She then went back inside her shell disappearing.

Ariel: "Let's go. We must get the trident back."

They tried to go follow Ursula through the shell she went in but it was clogged off so they had to take a long way. They got out of Ursula's lair and swam throughout the ocean looking for the trident and Ursula. Eventually, they found her.

Ursula: "You pathetic fools! I rule the seas now! The sea and all its spoils bow to my power!"

The group watched Ursula doing dark magic as a cloud of smoke appeared underneath them. Ursula then reappeared but this time she was a lot bigger. Sora, Donald and Goofy now had to deal with a giant Ursula. They were able to defeat her as Ursula had lighting sparks flowing around her and she had found it hard to breathe now. Ursula disappeared from the black cloud of smoke and the trident appeared. They grabbed the trident and went back to the palace and returned it to the king.

Ariel: "Daddy, I'm so sorry."

Sora: "Please don't be angry with her."

Triton: "It's my fault. You followed Ursula because... I wouldn't let you follow your heart. And when you found that crystal, I lost my temper and destroyed it."

Goofy: "Oh, yeah, the crystal! Why did you destroy it?"

Triton: "The crystal held the power to reveal the Keyhole. The Keyhole is dangerous. I had to keep you away from it at any cost."

Ariel: "Daddy..."

Triton: "Key bearer, I have one more request: Seal the Keyhole. My trident also holds the power to reveal the Keyhole. Will you do it?"

Sora: "Of course. That's what we had in mind from the start."

Ariel: "Where is the Keyhole, Daddy?"

Triton: "You should know better than anyone. It's in your grotto."

Goofy: "Really... Sora, let's go."

Once, Ariel apologizes for the trident getting stolen, but King Triton blames himself; he should've let her follow her heart. King Triton explains he had to destroy the crystal because it held the power to reveal the Keyhole, a danger from which he wanted to shield her. He requests Sora to seal it with his Keyblade. They went back to the Grotto and Ariel used the trident to reveal the keyhole. As it did its job Sora used his Keyblade and locked the keyhole.

Ariel: "Tell me, Sora. Your world, what's it like?"

Sora: "Oh, about that... Sorry for lying to you."

Ariel [giggles]: "It's okay. Besides, if you can travel to other worlds, maybe I can, too. So many places I want to see... I know I'll get there someday. I'll find a way somehow. I'm sure of it."

Ariel swims up towards the small light above her Grotto.

Sebastian: "Well, if you find it, do me a favor and leave me out of it."

Their mission in Atlantica was over and had to go to another world.

~BACK IN NEVERLAND~

Y/N [P.O.V.]

After I got Pinocchio and Jiminy to safety, I was suddenly ambushed by a swarm of Heartless I was still pretty tired from my fight with Riku. I don't know where he is though. I'm worried about him. I then fell into consciousness again and when I woke up but this time I wasn't in Monstro I was in some kind of ship. And I figured I must have arrived in another world. And on the ship I found Kairi lying on a couch in the office that I was in. She was alright but she wasn't waking up. I figured something was wrong with her heart. But while I was asleep I saw someone in a place that was filled with darkness.

~FLASHBACK~

I was walking through this strange place. It was filled with darkness.

"What is this... Strange place?"

I then found myself at some kind of beach. It was beautiful, yet it was filled with darkness. I saw someone sitting on the sand staring out in the distance. She had long brown hair, the end of her was tied up into a small trail, she had a top and had sleeves that covered her arms, she was wearing a skirt that reached her ankles. I walked up to her. I saw her immediately turn her head around as she heard my footsteps.

"Um... Hello. Did I disturb you?"

???: "Oh, no. I didn't expect someone else like you to be here. I expected someone else. But... What I'd like to know is how did you get here. Why don't you sit down with me."

I did as I was told and sat next to her and we both stared off into the distance.

"Um. Well, I was taking my friends out of danger and out of nowhere Heartless appeared."

???: "Hmm. Dwellers of Darkness... I've about it from a friend of mine."

"Dwellers of Darkness? That's what they're called instead?"

I turned to her when she called the Heartless the Dwellers of Darkness.

??? [chuckles]: "No. It's what my friend and I call them before we got separated. She and I got by different ways. She saved our best friend when they were both falling into darkness. And she kept wandering around here."

"I... See. What about you? How did you get here?"

She stayed quiet for a moment before she opened her mouth again.

???: "I... I was struck by someone's Keyblade. My friend, who came here, was about to be struck and I took action by getting in the way and took the hit. My heart made its into the sky. And the aftermath was that I ended up here. I was walking around looking for an exit or to see if I can find my friends. Eventually, I did. We continued our journey yet something happened which we didn't expect to come. And once again... We were alone."

She then frowned at that.

"I'm sorry about that. It must be hard for you and your friends."

???: "Yeah... But."

The woman took out a star-shaped charm. A Wayfinder. It looked like mine but had glass petals.

???: "She gave us this, reminding us that we'll always be together."

"Funny, I have the same one like you but it was made out of thalassa shells."

I took mine out and showed it to her.

???: "I see. Well, your friend must be as good as my friend."

"Yeah."

We were giggling at that until it died down.

"By the way, what's your name? I'm Y/N."

The woman smiled at me.

???: "I'm Synthia. I'm a Master Keyblader."

"Really? Me too."

Synthia looked at me with wide eyes.

Synthia: "You?! A Keyblade Master?! But... You're so young!"

I let out a hearty laugh.

"I know."

Synthia just let out a chuckle.

Synthia: "You're an interesting and mysterious one."

"Heh. Hey, can I see your Keyblade?"

Synthia nodded and stood up as I followed. Seh stretched her hand out and her Keyblade appeared.

"Wow. It's nothing like mine."

Synthia: "Oh, yours is beautiful."

"Thanks."

We both started chatting up and for hours. Until Synthia said something unexpected.

Synthia: "I don't know if this is selfish of me to ask but... May I rest my heart in your heart?"

"Huh? How?"

Synthia: "Stick your hand out."

I did as she said and she grabbed my hand and a glow shined on our bodies and Synthia's body started to disappear.

"Synthia?!"

I was getting worried. But she gave me warm smile.

Synthia: "Don't worry, my heart will only rest inside yours. I can rest inside you and maybe we'll run into my friends. You and I are the same. We both have a strong heart that has light in us."

"But... Can I at least get the name of your friends?"

Synthia smiled.

Synthia: "My friends are... Aqua, Ven and Terra."

Her form disappeared and I felt something warm in my heart. Synthia. I smiled as I placed both of my hands over my heart.

"Don't worry, Synthia. I will find your friends. And we'll do it together."

~END OF FLASHBACK~

I was sitting on the couch Kairi was laying on. I sat next to her and placed her head on my lap for her to lay properly. I heard the door open and couldn't believe who I saw.

"...Riku...?"

Riku's eyes widen as he saw me awake from my unconscious state he then walked over.

Riku: "Y/N! I'm glad you're awake!"

He didn't seem afraid about our situation.

"Uh... Yeah."

There was a moment of silence until I heard a voice that sounded almost vile.

???: "Ah. I see your princess is awake."

I looked up to see Maleficent. I gently placed Kairi's head on the couch and got my Keyblade and went into my fighting stance.

"You!"

I snarled at the sorceress.

Riku: "Y/N! Calm down!"

I didn't listen to Riku, but... The current me wasn't acting myself. I was thinking it was my heart, Synthia. But I pushed that away. Whatever Synthia's big deal was with Maleficent. It definitely wasn't good.

"What have you done to Kairi?!"

Maleficent: "Why I simply did nothing. Your prince here, I am simply helping him in getting your best friends' heart back. He is doing this for both you and the girl."

I tightened my hands on my Keyblade. But I closed my eyes and remembered my lessons back at Disney Castle. I calmed myself and I stood straight back up and my Keyblade disappeared.

"I would like to be alone with Riku, Maleficent."

Maleficent: "Of course."

Maleficent disappeared and I turned my attention to Riku. I placed a hand on my forehead as I placed my other hand on my hip.

"Why, Riku?"

Riku didn't say anything.

"Maleficent is evil, Riku! You joined the wrong side!"

Riku: "No! You have! If you were me you would have Maleficent's help to get Kairi's heart back!"

"Yeah! But, not like this! I wouldn't use the darkness to just get Kairi's heart back! There are other ways to get her heart back."

Riku: "How would you know?"

"Did you forget, Riku? I'm a Keyblade Mater. The first young Keyblader master there is. I could get her heart back. But it will take a while. And need to go to other worlds to find it. But... I doubt you will let me go if I went to search for Kairi's heart."

I turned my back to Riku and stared at Kair's sleeping form. I heard Riku sigh, I could feel his eyes on me but I ignore them. I heard his footsteps walking away and hear a door close. I sighed.

'Where are you, Sora, Donald, Goofy, Jiminy?'
