"Sweetheart" Veer mumbled in sleep. Bani rushed to him and patted him, making him sleep again. She wanted him to take full rest.

After around two hours when veer woke up, bani greeted him with a smile. Veer smiled faintly and indicated her to come closer. She did. Veer hugged bani gently.

"I scared you. Right? " Veer asked. Bani nodded yes.

"I... I didn't mean to... But "

"Sssh.... Veer.... Why are you saying like this... Veer go and freshen up.. We need to talk... Okay? " Bani said. Veer sensed the urgency in her voice. He went to washroom and looked at the mirror. His neck had marks of strangling. He sighed, ... Involuntarily his thoughts went back to the horrible incident.

He was sleeping beside bani. He heard a sound and woke up. Bani was sleeping with a calm face and even breath so he thought not to wake her up. He slowly got up from the bed without disturbing her. He went towards the door and he was caught by something or to say someone. He couldn't see anything. The next moment he felt something around his neck and before he could understand he was getting strangled.

"Baby.... Do you need any help" Bani asked from outside.

"No... Sweetheart I will be there in five minutes. Can you plzz make a latte for me " Veer asked.

"Sure, " Bani said and left from there.

"Whats wrong now sweetheart? Did she harm you... You are fine. Right? " Veer asked.

"Ssh... Baby relax... I am fine. It's not about me. It's about Pandit ji. He is missing from last night. " Bani said and veer's eyes widened.

"I would love to know why only I am able to see you " Bani said. Kalindi laughed.

"You surely are different. Not like me. I was not this brave. Do you even care that I am a soul and I can do anything. Remember what I did to your husband yesterday. Haha... And yeah you heard about Pandit. Right? ... " Kalindi asked.

"What do you want actually.... You killed the person who killed you, who betrayed you and the whole village with his innocent face... Why are you wandering on earth... Why are you behind us? " Bani asked.

"Something ties me here, restricting my journey to after life... " Kalindi said.

"What's it? "  Bani asked.

"My hate... Hahaha.... I will not go from here... This is my haweli... You did a sin by coming here... " Kalindi said. Bani was enraged.

"Kalindi.... Listen to me carefully... For once. Will you?.... All men are not same... Your father was a man. Was he bad? Just because your so called husband to be turned out to be a bastard that doesn't mean every men on earth is same. He killed you and you killed him. Isn't it even... Your revenge is over. Veer was looking at bani not knowing what's happening. He can only hear bani's words and so he was eager to know what kalindi said.
