Mason's P.O.V.

I was with my friends in mine and Randy's dorm. He was out with Lonnie, so I could be able to plot with my friends on how to get the wand. Evie was doing Chad's homework, Carlos was on the floor with Dude, Harley was lying down on her stomach next to Dude, and I was sitting on my bed, looking through my spellbook.

"Well, Mason, you have a shot at getting information from Bethany." Harley said.

I furrowed my eyebrows and looked at her. "What do you mean?"

"She broke up with that brat today. I saw everything." she explained.

"I might give it a shot, since my plan to get some information from Jane didn't work even though I used a spell to do her hair." I explained.

"Oh, so now your a stylist, huh?" the daughter of Hades asked me sarcastically.

"Oh, shut it, Harl. Those princesses were being annoying, so I had to get the job done." I told her.

Just then, Jay came in with a jersey as he laughed and Carlos whistled.

"Did your plan work with Jane? You going over to to the wand?" he asked me.

"Do you think I would be going through every single spell in this book if I hadn't completely struck out?" I asked him in a frustrated voice.

"Well, someone's in a bad mood." Carlos remarked.

"My mom's counting on me. I can't let her down." I told him, followed by me flicking his head.

"We can do this." Jay said, making all of us look at him. "If we stuck together." he added.

I looked at each and every one of my friends.

'We're villains. Nothing can change that.' I thought to myself.

"And we won't go back until we do. Cause were rotten..." I started. "...to the core." Everyone else finished.

"Oh yeah, I found out that Fairy Godmother blesses Bethany with the wand at coronation and we all get to go." Evie announced, making me look at her. '

Wait, what?' I thought to myself.

"I have nothing to wear of course." she added before there was a knock at the door.

'If we can get to know, maybe we can be in the front where Fairy Godmother will be and I can be able to snatch the wand.'

"What?" she asked as she saw me staring back and forth.

"Hold that thought." I told her as I got up from the bed and walked to the door.

I opened it and it revealed Bethany with her hands clasped together with a nervous look on her face.

"Hey, Mason." she greeted. I sent her a half smile.

"I was just wondering if you had any questions or anything that you needed." she explained.

"Not that I know of." I told her as I looked at the rest, who shook their heads.

"Okay. Alright. Well, uh, if you need anything, just, uh..." she said as she was about to walk away.

"Oh, wait." I said, making Bethany stop and look at me.

"Um, is it true that we all get to go to your coronation?" I asked her.

"Yeah, the whole school goes." she replied.

"Wow. That is beyond exciting." Harley said.

"Do you think that it's a possibility that the six of us could stand in the front row next to the Fairy Godmother just so we could soak up all that goodness?" I asked.

"I wish you could. Up front, it's just me, my folks, and my boyfriend. Well, make that ex-boyfriend now." she explained.

"And a boyfriend?" I asked her.

"Yeah, I'm sorry." she apologized.

"Okay, thanks. Bye." I told her as I closed the door as she said something.

I felt bad, to be honest, but I came up with an idea. I smirked as it entered my mind.

"I think it's time that Bethany got herself a new boyfriend." I told my friends.

They all smirked in response. "And I need a love spell."

I signaled for my spell book, which Carlos tossed and I caught it.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

"Okay. It says that we still need one tear and I never cry." I told my friends as we were in the kitchen, making the love spell in the form of cookies.

"Let's just chop up some onions." Carlos suggested.

"No. It says that we still need one tear of human sadness and this love potion gets the best reviews, so, we have to follow it exactly." I explained.

"A tear's a tear." Jay said.

"That's not true, Jay. They both have antibodies and Enzymes, but an emotional tear has more protein-based hormones than a reflex tear." Evie explained.

I raised an eyebrow as I had half a smirk. "Listen to you." Harley teased.

"Yeah, I knew that." Jay said.

"Did not." Carlos told him.

"Yeah, I did." the son of Jafar retorted.

Just then, the door opened, which made me cover the book with a cloth. I looked up and saw Lonnie there.

"There you are, Mason. I was looking for you. You know, all the girls want you to do their hair." she explained.

We all just chuckled nervously. "Midnight snack, huh? What you guys making?" she asked, trying to peek at the bowl.

"Nothing special. Just cooki-" I stopped talking as she dipped her finger into the bowl.

"No, no, no!" we all exclaimed as she licked the batter and looked at all of us with a slightly confused expression.

"What? I'm not gonna double-dip." she told us.

"Feel anything?" Evie asked her.

"Yeah. Like it might be missing something?" I asked.

She looked thoughtful for a second and Jay being Jay, he walked and stood by the pole. "Hey there." he told her in a flirty voice.

Lonnie looked at him with a "Sorry, but not interested" look.

"Could use some chips." she said as she walked to the fridge.

"Chips?" Jay asked as the rest of us let out sighs of relief.

"And those are?" Harley asked.

"Chocolate chips. Just the most important food group." she explained as she walked over to us with a glass cup of what looked like chocolate chips.

"Wait. Didn't your moms ever make you guys like chocolate chip cookies?" she asked as she put some chips inside the bowl and ate some herself. All of us looked at her.

"Like, when you're feeling sad, and, they're fresh from the oven with a big old glass of milk and she just makes you laugh and puts everything into perspective." she explained.

All of us remained silent as we continued to look at her.

"Why are you all looking at me like that?" she asked.

"Umm, it's just different where we're from." I told her.

"Yeah, I know. It's just. You know, I thought even villains love their kids." she explained.

We all stayed silent as she realized why we had the gloomy looks.

It only took her a few seconds to realize. "Oh." she whispered as she looked at each of us. "How awful."

I felt her place a comforting hand on my shoulder and placed her other one over mine. I looked and saw a tear falling down her cheek, which I scooped up and put in the bowl.

"Yeah, well big bummer, but we gotta get these in to the oven." I said as Harley guided Lonnie back to the door.

"Evil dreams." she told the girl.

"Okay, boys. Cookie sheet. Evie, oven." I ordered them.

"Yes, Sir."
