" I think we should probably leave" I say looking at the little fire animals running towards us.

" There just made I fire, its not like they can hurt us." Blazefire says looking back at the village.

" Well not all of us are fire proof Blazefire" Skyress snaps.

" Ok, then you can not come. Or I could just make the fire things go around you because that is my specialty." Blazefire starts walk towards the burning Village. " well come on guys"

I exchange a glance with Skyress and Start walking after my brother. Most Vikings are in the hold with their dragons but a few of them where running around trying to put the fire out. I push Skyress away as I little fire animal runs between us.

" Blazefire watch and make sure your doing what you said you'd do" I say.

" I can't control them"

" Huh?"

" I can't control any of this, at all. Only some of the flames on the buildings." there is clear panic in his voice. Ive never seen him panic before. " Skyress come here, "

Skyress runs over to Blazefire who opens his wing To her to protect her from the fire.

" Owe! Those things can bite!" Twilight jumps up whacking one of the animals away from his tail.

" Lets go" Blazefire starts to lead us to the beach but before we could get near  a loud shout makes us all stop.

" Put it out! Put the fire out! Bolt, Twilight! now!"

Bolt and Twilight snap out of there shock and start running after Darkfang who flew to the beach ahead of us.

A few seconds later large tidal wave starts coming toward us. The air goes completely still with the work from Twilight.

Get everyone I to the air. Find any villagers you can and try to get them away from the water. Bolt doesn't think he can control that many individual air pockets without Nightstar's help, and he's not here.

Ok got it. I say back through her thoughts.

" Guys, grab as many people as you can and get into the air" I watch as my three other siblings dash off into different directions.

I turn and look for the largest crowd of people. Most of the Viking where all heading for high ground with their animals. I look at the first heard of animals and lift them and their owners into the air with my powers.

I keep repeating until I don't have enough strength to pull anymore things up Into the air. I have to use my wings to keep myself up. It looks like everyone is out of the village.

I look over at Blazefire, Skyress, Twilight ( joined in after gaining control over the wind) and Sapphire with people on their backs and being held in their paws.

The wave stops collecting water and getting bigger. It starts to rush off the beach and onto the island. The water starts rushing into the village. Bolt has enough control to make sure none of the buildings are swept away or are damaged. They almost seem to stay dry.

The water is now almost the the center of the village rising fast. I watch the water rushing and put the fires out. The little animals are put out and disappear under the waves.

" Hewlp!" A young child's yell pierces the air.

I snap my head in the direction looking for the source of the sound. I find it. Its a young two year old toddler running away from the waters that are about the reach the edge of the village. In is arms he clutches a small black and white kitten. His little legs can't carry him nearly fast enough to get out of the reach of the wave. I dive down towards the toddler racing the wave to the child.

I reach just behind him and I can hear his crying as the water reaches the heels of the boy. I push with my wings harder and grab the boy a The water swept his legs out from under him.

But as I pull up the little kitten in his arms falls into the waves. I can't go reach it or ill drop the boy and everyone else In The air. I hear Skyress's horrified thoughts as she flys above me not able to do anything either.

The boys crying turns I screams as the yells out for the kitten. " Beorn! Beorn! " (A/N Norweigen name for bear) he screams kicking his feet. I fly upwards to the rest if my family.

I go up above the others to where Skyress is at. " I'm sorry I couldn't do it,"

" I couldn't do anything" she says still staring at the water.

I put the crying toddler on my back. His wailing burnt my ears as he crys out for his kitten.

" Hey, how long is it going to take for you to notice me?"

If was on the ground I would have jumped. I turn around to see Darkfang.

" Gods you don't have to snea-" I stop and look at what she has in her paws.

" Mew?" the kitten in her paws is as dry as a dessert. She reaches out and and hands it to the boy.

" How did you? "

" we'll when you saw it disappear under the waves, or I assume that's what it looked like. It was just me catching it. You know with the whole Speed of lightning thing. and I was on my way by killing the little freaky animal things anyway."

I look up at the child on my back now happily hugging his kitten.

" You can tell Bolt on stop mow. I mean now. They are all gone" Darkfang says once again all serious.

I do just that.

💭Twilight💭

I land on the ground tempted to lay there on the soggy dirt. I have no idea how dad can stand to have to carry someone on his back all the time. It gets supper heavy. Except well I guess he doesn't have to carry four or five people once. And Hiccup isn't exactly the most muscular Viking around.

When every one is off my back, I slump down to the ground just siting there. I watch as Darkfang walks up to on of the dead flame animals. They no longer are covered in flames. They look like slugs the size of my claws with these huge beaver teeth. Explains why when it bit me it hurt the a bugger.

" Well those look, odd and disturbing" We all swivel our heads and see Fang Poking at one of the little animal bodys.

Nightstar lands on the ground next to me. One of his wings hit my head and I glare at him.

" Sorry about that"

I nod in response. " hey so where where you? we really could have used your help you know,"

" Was Darkfang not enough?"

" No she was fine but it would of helped if we had you controlling the water on this end to keep air pockets for us open under that water. it would have been easier for us. "

"Oh, here, just a minute"

He walks over to Darkfang. they exchange words that I can't hear. I instead try to hear their thoughts but they surprisingly both shielded.

I wonder what they were doing.

(A/N wow that chapter made me more depressed than I already am. I didn't realize at the time in was writing it but what of that actually happened sometime in the past when a tsunami hit someplace and a little toddler was going through that. Only there wasn't a Night Fury To save them. I hate myself now, and I'm sure you do too after putting that picture in your mind...)
