"W-wha—", Amatsuki looked at the doll in his hand which started shaking before the electricity suddenly went off. Luz put the lighter on as he walked towards the two.

"Are you guys alright?", Luz asked and Soraru nodded as they both looked at Amatsuki crouching on the floor.

"Begone demon. Begone begone begone begone begone.", Amatsuki said repeatedly as Soraru nodded. "Yeah, we're fine.", Soraru confirmed. "Strange... the blackout should be only above and not here...", Luz said as Soraru looked around. "Where is the doll?".

Soraru asked as he saw Amatsuki lying on the floor and stretching his hand somewhere.

"Sorry, it's here.", Amatsuki said as he grabbed the doll. He just grabbed it and got out of the narrow space again when he noticed a figure standing above him. Confused he looked up to see someone standing there.

He widened his eyes as he almost let the doll fall when he recognized the figure. It was a blonde girl with burned skin standing there.

He quickly scrambled to the others as he hugged Soraru's leg. Soraru flinched and looked down questioning at Amatsuki.

"...And what are you doing right now? Did something happen?", Soraru asked as Amatsuki tried his best to form a whole sentence.

"A-a-a ghost is t-there!", Amatsuki said pointing behind them as Soraru and Luz turned around to see nothing. "There is... no one.", Soraru stated as he walked further away to see if there was someone. "Are you sure you didn't imagine it?", Soraru asked when he still didn't find anyone.

"Yes, I am! There was someone there w-with long blonde hair and black burned skin... j-just like that girl in the classroom!", Amatsuki said as he described her. Luz widened his eyes as he put his hands on Amatsuki's shoulder.

"Amatsuki. Could you describe that more?", Luz asked as he gave Amatsuki a pen and paper and he nodded and started to draw the girl he saw just a while ago. "Just like I thought... she looks like the girl that I once saw... but that girl...", Luz trailed off as Amatsuki looked at Luz worriedly.

"Luz-san?", Amatsuki called out as Soraru took the paper and inspected it. "She somehow reminds me of... Senra's sister.", Soraru said as Amatsuki widened his eyes.

"His sister? I didn't even know he had one. I am a bit worried about Senra.

Shouldn't we see if he's resting well?", Amatsuki asked as Soraru opened his mouth to answer but was interrupted by Luz.

"Senra? You mean the little brother of Reika?",  Luz asked as Soraru nodded. "So you know Senra?", Soraru asked as Luz nodded. "He was a member of another district.", Luz said.

"The recent earthquake was the cause of that?", a blonde male asked as a scientist nodded. "Yes. It was stopped for now but we don't know how much longer this place will last until it will be flooded.", the scientist said as he pushed his glasses back up. "Looks like we're in some trouble then... right, Darky-kun?", a light-haired male asked the other blonde. "I think so.

There is also that monster fish lurking around so it's only a matter of time until this place is underwater. Also... could you please stop calling me that?", the younger male asked as the other just smiled innocently. "Why?

You don't want to tell me your real name and your code name sounds too gloomy so either you tell me your name or I'll continue calling you that.", the older male asked as the other blonde fell silent making the older male smile knowing he won the argument. "Oh, look!

Isn't that blonde guy over there, Senra, the test subject which was promoted to being a researcher?", the older male asked as the younger male looked into the direction the other was pointing. "Oh, you're right... it's the first time I actually see him. He is so young.", he noted as one of the researchers just sweat-dropped.

You are just as young as him though... the researcher thought before deciding to mind his own business. The blonde boy named Senra walked to an older female looking just like him.

"Ah, he is walking to his sister... don't you think they have some kind of strange aura around them? Weird...", the light-haired male said.

"You are the one who's weird...", the other male said looking away as the older blonde gasped on fake hurt but laughed it off before calling the blonde female.

"Reika!", he called as the girl turned her attention from her little brother to him and gave a polite smile. "Luz! Thanks for offering your help for the test tomorrow~", she thanked him as he just smiled and shook his head.

"It's fine~ Anyway, wanna introduce us to your brother?", Luz asked as he looked at Senra who looked at them emotionless.

"Oh, right! This is Senra. He is about your age so I hope you'll get along.", she said as Luz extended his hand to Senra and smiled at him as Senra still looked at him blankly.

"What are you doing?", the blonde asked as Luz tilted his head. "I wanna shake hands! We're going to work together and all and I hope we can become friends.", Luz said smiling as Senra didn't take his hand and simply looked away.

"...There is no reason why you would want to be friends with me. Please just focus on work.", the blonde said as he walked away towards the other researchers. Luz stood there baffled as Reika apologized to him.

"I'm sorry... Senra has a slight distrust towards people here in the labor. I hope you can forgive him.", she said as Luz merely smiled shaking his head. "It's fine~ I'm just not used to it...", Luz said as he looked at Senra who was talking to one of the head scientists about something.

He looked lifeless. As if he didn't have a soul. As if he wasn't human but just a test subject. There was a strange aura surrounding him and Luz couldn't help but feel weird being around him.

"Luz, you alright?", Soraru asked snapping Luz out of his thoughts. Luz put on his usual smile as he nodded. "Yeah, I am~ Thanks for worrying~", Luz thanked as Soraru didn't believe him but just nodded instead.

"I just wanted to tell you that I am going upstairs for a bit to see if Senra's doing ok.", Soraru said as Luz tilted his head.

"But wouldn't Senra feel bothered? He distrusts strangers pretty quickly and he is even more cold than you.", Luz informed trying to joke and Soraru who raised his eyebrow questioning.

"That... doesn't really sound like Senra. Also it'll be fine. It's not like we're strangers.

We're friends so it'll be fine.", Soraru told Luz who widened his eyes. "His friends? Ah, so he finally opened up to people...

I wonder who was the cause of that...", Luz muttered the last part to himself and Soraru stood up and brushed his pants.

"Like I said I wanted to see if he's fine so could I leave you here with Amatsuki for a while?", Soraru asked as he looked at Amatsuki who was sitting on the floor hugging his knees looking at the doll and then at Luz.

"Of course. Leave it to me.", Luz said.

Kradness was sitting there nervously as he held the cup of bubble tea that Neko gave him. "...Don't you want to take that mask off?", Kradness asked as Neko shook her head.

"It's cute~ So I want to wear it~", Neko said as she sipped on her bubble tea humming in delight from the taste.

Hah... I really want to go... I hope Hashiyan-san and Eve-san are sitting there still like I told them to... "Why are you so nervous, Dark-chan?", Neko asked as Kradness flinched.

"N-nervous?", Kradness repeated as he tried to distract himself by trying her bubble tea which indeed tasted great.

(God, I love bubble tea www) "I was wondering if you decided to get out off here... because of that one woman who is like a mother to you and your friend was it? You never really told me about them.", Neko said as she played with the straw as Kradness stayed quiet waiting for Neko go keep talking instead of having to answer.

"This island will die if there no humans living here. And so will Mother when there are no humans here anymore. And the experiments and research of the doctor will be in vain.

"Kradness, sure takes his time...", Hashiyan said as he started to yawn from boredom. "He is... I hope he didn't get into trouble.", Eve hoped as he heard some shuffling besides him.

"Hashiyan-san?", Eve called out as he heard some quiet cheering as response. "Yeah, I opened them!", Hashiyan exclaimed cheerfully as he threw the handcuffs on the seat next to him.

"Eh? Hashiyan-san? What are you doing?", Eve asked as he slightly started to panicked when he realized what Hashiyan was about to do.

He heard some clicking but he couldn't see that Hashiyan took of his mask and opened the car door. "Don't worry, I'm just going to look around for a bit~", Hashiyan assured Eve as he stepped out of the car winking at Eve even though he couldn't see it. Eve gaped as he turned towards the door where Hashiyan stepped out.

"Eh? Hashiyan-san!", Eve called him but Hashiyan simply ignored him as he closed the door whistled and walked away leaving Eve alone in the car. Eve simply sighed as he took of his mask and looked at his handcuffs.

He inspected them realizing he wouldn't be able to open them. "I only studied medicine.... not how to escape from being kidnapped! Hah... what should I do now? Hashiyan-san, you idiot!"
