Work in the Docks was great, Pulling trucks and shunting wagons into their proper sidings, Ships were also coming and going sometimes sporting names like lady Charlton, humbling dockertin and you get the idea. Many things were being exported such as steel and Livestock such as Cattle Nelly was also a familer site on the line she was the one taking goods to and from the Docks. Shes truly a credit to our railway, An job we usually do is help the ship's around when the tide might go down. Strong Cable's are fastened to our fronts as we pull with all our might and we are uncoupled once we are about to pull the ship past the docks waters we are unfastened. Whenever this job needed doing Nelly was there to help me.

I had this yard in order, and even had to admit the salty air grew on me i was resting in a siding since i had to wait for a next ship to arrive before loading. Just then Nelly Chuffed into the docks train trailing behind her she looked out of puff, her face as red as a tomato "W-Where do you want the-these trucks?" She panted "I'll take care of it you go rest" i said moving from my siding

A while later we both sat on a siding nelly was telling me about pinebrook's locomotives "well rory is our express engine, Tammytarn and Saint Polly are our mainline Suburban engines, and me and nigel are frieght engines." I looked at her

"Who's Nigel?, If he is a freight engine I never seen him around"

"Well he's helping construct a new branchline I belive dorhall is it's name, I'm all one for pulling my own weight But we need another engine if i continue like this i might brakedown" she explained "sometimes i can't tell if I'm driving on my wheel's or my cab"

I Just luaghed "thats work on a railway plenty of Hustle and bustle"

For the rest of the day i was pondering, It would be nice to have extra engine's, Nelly was resting in a siding she was watching boats coming and going just then an workmen came running over "we need you two to pull the ship out of the Harbor" Nelly shot forwards "right!" She called but then a loud snap followed by an yelp from the London South western 395. I had quickly rushed over to her "what's wrong?, are you hurt?"

"My safty valve has burst!" she said "I can't move" I frowned i knew what this had ment "I can't possibly do this by my own she just gave me a stern look "We don't have time to get another engine, By time another engine come's the ship will already go aground. I glanced over at the ship it looked down on me it felt intimidating. I had moved to the outer track closest to the sea, a cable was fasened to my front i gulped. "Tug!" Cried my driver, wheelturn by wheelturn I slowey reversed, The sound of wheels grinding against the tracks followed by wheelslip by wheelslip "I C-Can't do it!" I cried coming to a stop panting. I had managed to move the ship a little but not enough it didn't even pass the port.

"You can't give up" cried nelly "that ship is exporting steel which is needed for the mainland and livestock for food if that ship goes aground we lose this shipping contract and lose economical income!." I gulped, she was right the docks were the only way of importing and exporting items for the pinebrook railway. Slowely i started again "I think I can, I think I can, I think I can" I chanted to my self i kept pulling and tugging "I will do it, I will do it!, I will do it!" I said to my self louder, "thats the way!" Cried my driver "keep pulling" it sure was tedious and my axles ached but i kept pulling and pulling and then the ship was pulled out of the docks and the chain was uncoupled. "Way to go!" Smiled nelly I couldn't help but feel triumph, Triumph but tired.

End of story

I looked over at Maximus and no. 525 both surprised "You Managed to pull that off by your self?" Asked Maximus I couldn't help but to smile "n-not to b-brag but yeah." No. 525 inquired "you might have told us how you saved the ship from going aground but why did you change your name to Mathew?" I looked over at him "well m-my dear engine T-thats simple, t-the name of the ship was the M-Mathew Ioana and i took my name from that" the Raidal tank and the brakevan both smiled "Well were very proud of you now lets get some rest we have work to do in an hour times" said No.525 closing his eyes. As i sat in my berth i had this feeling of uneasiness, talk around the docks were that Britain was going to war with germany and i couldn't help but worry.
