"Now Oddish, we should catch ourselves a Ground Type. They would be major help against Lt.Surge." Lianna explained. "Oddish. Oddish." Oddish replied. Lianna lead her into the tall grass, rustling in the grass had appeared. Lianna approached it and a wild Spearow appeared, not the same one with the broken wing though. "A Spearow! Ready, Oddish?" She asked. "Oddish!" She shouted and jumped into action.

"Use Stun Spore!" Lianna commanded. Oddish used it, but Spearow blew back the spores with its wings. "Dodge! Quick!" Lianna warned. Oddish tried to but was hit with the stun spore. However, she was uninfected. "It doesn't harm you?" Lianna asked. Oddish shook it off. Spearow used Peck. "Dodge it!" Lianna cried out. Oddish jumped and rolled out of the way. "Stun Spore again!" Lianna commanded. Oddish used Stun Spore and Spearow was paralyzed. Lianna used a Pokéball and it worked.

"Yes!" Lianna called out. Oddish jumped for joy. Lianna sent out Spearow and scanned it. It knew Peck, Growl and Leer and was male. Lianna smiled at him. Spearow was confused. Lianna petted him and he felt happy. Lianna returned Spearow and sent him home. Eevee looked down, thinking back to the previous Spearow with the broken wing. "Eevee, this Spearow isn't the same Spearow... But at least this one can be a good friend to us." Lianna said. "Eevee? Vee." Eevee said, then smiled. "Oddish, you ready to catch some more Pokémon?" She asked her. "Oddish." Oddish replied. "Okay!" Lianna said, leading her. Oddish followed after her. Lianna was inspecting the grass and a rustle formed into the grass. Lianna lead Oddish into the grass.

A Nidoran Male version appeared! "A Nidoran Male version! Ready, Oddish?" She asked her. Oddish jumped into action. "You seem pumped up! Stun Spore!" She commanded. Oddish used it and Nidoran was paralyzed. Lianna used a Moon Ball, but it bounced right off. Nidoran tried to move and Oddish was confused. "Nidoran?" Lianna asked. Filia then was spotted. "Nidoran!" She called out, running up to him. "There you are." She picked him up and used a Full Heal. "Who did that to you?" She asked him. "O-oh! I thought that was a wild Nidoran!" She called out. "A wild one? But I caught this one yesterday! Isn't it the best Nidoran you've ever seen?" She asked.

"He does look cute. I have a Nidorina." Lianna explained. "A Nidorina? Really? Do you have it now? I'd like to battle it!" She said. "Be right back!" Lianna called and went to get her Nidorina. "Oh? Okay?" She asked. Lianna arrived back and scanned her. She knew Poison Jab, Dig, Crunch and Superpower. "You ready?" Lianna asked Filia. "Yeah, it been a while since we last battled." Filia said. "Nidorina, Dig!" Lianna commanded. Nidorina dug into the ground, out of sight. "Nidoran, Focus Energy!" Filia commanded. Lianna watched as her Nidorina jumped out and attacked Nidoran. "Oh no, Nidoran! Quick, use Double Kick!" Filia commanded. Nidoran ran up to Nidorina and kicked her. Nidorina took damage. "Careful, girl! Use Dig again!" Lianna commanded. Nidorina dug underground. "Nidoran, go after it!" Filia commanded. Nidoran jumped into the hole. "Use Peck!" Filia ordered. "Counter with Crunch!" Lianna commanded. Nidoran hit Nidorina with Peck but then Nidorina used Crunch onto Nidoran. "Nidoran! No!" Filia cried out.

"Great job!" Lianna called out. "Nidorina." She replied. Nidoran flew into Filia's arms. Filia caught him. "You okay?" She asked him. Nidoran looked at Filia with a weak smile. Lianna watched them happily. "Your Nidorina is strong." Filia said to Lianna. "Thank you." Lianna replied. Filia smiled. "Are you going to evolve her soon?" She asked. "When I get a Moon Stone." Lianna said. "I know where you can get one if it helps." Filia said. "Oh! Thanks!" Lianna said. "You can now buy them at Celadon City." Filia explained. "Okay." Lianna replied. "But I suggest saving up, since they are not cheap." Filia said. "Alright..." Lianna said. Filia and Lianna smiled at one another. "Ran." Nidoran said. "Hmm... What's up, Nidoran?" Filia asked. Nidoran curled up to Filia. "Oh I see." Filia said, then hugged him.

"How many other Pokémon do you have?" Lianna asked. "Only five so far." Filia said. "Can I see them?" Lianna asked her. "Okay." Filia said, putting Nidoran down and throwing two Pokéballs. "Come on out everyone!" She called out. Mankey and Squirtle come out of their balls, Riolu appeared behind Filia and Pichu jumps out of Filia's bag. Lianna sent out Togepi and already has Nidorina, Oddish and Eevee with the two other eggs. "Nice Pokémon. Is Togepi from one of the eggs you won?" Filia asked. "Yep." Lianna replied. "Amazing." Filia said happily. "I have two eggs." Lianna said. "Nice. What are you hoping they will hatch into?" Filia asked. "I don't know..." Lianna said. "Okay then. I bet they will hatch someday." Filia said. "Or really soon!" Lianna explained. "Oh true, they can." Filia said. Lianna inspected the eggs, and they are both staying still.

"Not yet..." Lianna said. "Oh but soon though. Mind if I place my hand on one?" Filia asked. "Sure." Lianna said. "Thank you." Filia said. She slowly placed her hand on one of the eggs and her hand starts to glow. "Huh? Your hand?" Lianna asked. "Hmm? Something wrong?" Filia asked. "It's... glowing?" Lianna asked. "Hmm.." Filia looked at her hand. "Oh yes, my hands can do that, they always have." Filia said. "Do they help incubate eggs?" Lianna asked. "I don't know, all kinds of things happen, but I don't know about incubating eggs..." Filia said. "Oh.." Lianna said. An egg starts to move. "Huh?" Filia asked. "An egg!" Lianna called out. "It's moving." Filia said. The egg moved around. Lianna held the egg in her arms. Filia went over to Lianna and placed her hand on the egg again. The egg starts to hatch from the warmth of her hand. "I guess it helps hatch eggs." Lianna said.

"But that can be right. That's never happened before..." Filia said. The egg hatches into an Elekid. "An Elekid!" Lianna explained. "Kid. Kid. Ele." Elekid said happily. Lianna scanned Elekid. He was male and he knew Thundershock, Quick Attack, Cross Chop and Thunder Wave. Lianna smiled at him. Filia looked at her hands and thought to herself. "Did I do this? Why did this happen? Who am I?" Filia said in her mind. "Now we have only one more egg left." Lianna said. "Oh just one more?" Filia asked. "Yep." Lianna said. "Nice." Filia replied. "I also have a Tyrogue." Lianna explained. "Oh a Tyrogue? That's great." Filia said. "But he's going to be under the care of a Nurse Joy... He needs help walking." Lianna explained. "Oh right, because he's a newborn fighting type." Filia said. "Yeah..." Lianna said. "Oh well. In that case, just leave him to it. You can't just get a newborn fighting type to stand up after birth." Filia said. "Alright." Lianna said. "Okay." Filia replied.

"Can you try to hatch the other egg?" Lianna asked. "Really? Uh, okay." Filia said, holding the egg. "But I'm not sure it will happen again." Filia said. "Okay..." Lianna said. Filia's body starts to blow as she hugs the egg and soon it hatched into a baby Happiny. The Happiny slept in her arms. "Aww... a Happiny!" Lianna said in happiness. Filia kept glowing and hugging her. Happiny is asleep. "She's sleepy." Lianna said. "It's one of the things I have with my gift. It helps small Pokémon rest at times." Filia said. "Okay." Lianna said. "Here you are, your Happiny." Filia said, passing the Happiny to her trainer. "She's still a bit warm." She said. Lianna held Happiny. "Such a sweetie." Lianna said. Happiny started to move. "I know, right?" Filia asked. Lianna was petting her. Happiny felt happy. Lianna petted her more and Happiny smiled. Lianna smiled sweetly. "You think she's cute?" Filia asked. "Yes she is." Lianna replied. Lianna and Filia smiled at each other.

"So uh, how do you think your Tyrogue is?" Filia asked. "Probably fine." Lianna said. "Oh. Okay." Filia said. "Oddish! You want to train some more?" Lianna asked her Oddish. "Oddish." Oddish replied. "Okay!" Lianna said, taking her into the tall grass. "Uh, Lianna?" Filia asked. "Huh?" Lianna asked. "Oh, it's just your Happiny.... Should you be holding her like that while training?" Filia asked. "Yeah, I'll hold her." Lianna said. "Okay, just be careful with it. She's a newborn." Filia warned. Lianna held onto Happiny tight enough but not too tight. Happiny wiggled around in her arms. Lianna smiled and then Filia vanished. "Huh?" Lianna asked.

Lianna would then decide to move onto catching Pokémon.
