Lianna arrived back at Vermilion City and got her new team consisting of Wartortle, Ivysaur, Onix, Geodude, Tyrogue and Eevee. Eevee looked ready to go. Lianna sent out her Pokémon, which all of them, excluding Onix popped out. "Excuse me Nurse Joy, where is Lavender Town?" Lianna asked the mermaid Nurse Joy. "Lavender Town is East or Cerulean City or just east of here and head north." The Nurse Joy mermaid explained. "Okay! See you later!" Lianna called out, heading outside with her other pals. 

Her pals followed her outside. Lianna then sent out her Onix. Onix came out, long and tall. Lianna scanned Onix as well as Geodude. Onix was Male and knew the moves Tackle, Harden, Rock Throw and Slam. While Geodude was female and knew Tackle, Harden, Rock Throw and Rollout. Lianna smiled as the Rock Type Pokémon looked at Lianna. Lianna returned all of her pals except for Eevee and Onix. "Can I ride on you, Onix?" Lianna asked. Onix fortunately didn't seem to mind. Lianna climbed onto Onix's head with Eevee. Eevee climbed up as well. "Onward Onix!" Lianna called out. Onix moved forward. 

Lianna then noticed a ghost girl, the ninth daughter of Lord Lavender. "Hello there ghost girl!" Lianna called out.  The ghost girl didn't hear her the first time. "EXCUSE ME!" Lianna called out, speaking up louder. The ghost girl vanished and reappeared behind her. "What do you want?" She asked. "You look distressed... is something wrong?" Lianna asked. "I'm not distracted. What makes you think that?" She asked. "I said distressed, like in trouble.. you look like something is going on wrong..." Lianna said. "Nothing's wrong, I'm fine." She said. "Oh. I'm on my way to Lavender Town." Lianna said. "Why are you going there?" The ghost girl asked. "To see about catching Pokémon." Lianna said. "Just ghost types?" She asked her. "Mostly, maybe some Psychic or Dark Types too." Lianna said. "It's Ghost Types only." The 9th daughter replied. "Oh. Well, I am going to see about ghost types. Fun fact: Ghost types are my favorite type." Lianna said. She giggled. "I used to own a lot of ghost types. Well, I still do now that I'm dead." She explained. "I don't know... Ghost types always have fascinated me..." Lianna replied. "Well whatever floats your boat." She said. "I should mention that I have stopped a pair of ninjas from stealing a family of Clefable and their young." Lianna said. "Yeah I saw. I recommend you stay away from those two for now on." The ghost girl replied. "Okay. Whatever happened to those two.." Lianna said. "That's not for you to know." She replied. "Okay. Onward to Lavender Town! See you later!" Lianna called out. "Goodbye." She said. 

Lianna and Eevee continued to ride on Onix. "Wheeeeee!" Lianna called out happily. Onix was moving along smoothly, then suddenly went a little more rough. A scared and fast Pikachu ran in front of Onix and headed towards Lavender Town. "Huh? A Pikachu?" Lianna asked. Pikachu ran down a path. "After him, Onix!" Lianna called out. Onix went after Pikachu, but Pikachu was too fast. "Maybe it's going to Lavender Town..." Lianna said. "Onix?" Onix asked. "To Lavender Town!" Lianna called out. "Onix!" Onix called out. Soon they arrived in Lavender Town. 

The town was dull and quiet. "Lavender Town... I hope I don't die here..." Lianna said. Eevee got an unnerving chill. "Eevee?" Lianna asked Eevee. "Vee..." Eevee said nervously. "Are you scared?" Lianna asked Eevee. "Eevee...." Eevee said, shaking her head. "Don't be afraid, I got you." Lianna said to Eevee. Eevee looked around, getting a funny feeling about something. "Eevee?" Lianna asked. Eevee then started to calm down. "Come on, to Pokémon Tower!" Lianna called out. "Vee." Eevee replied. Lianna entered into Pokémon Tower. It was quiet inside the reception. Lianna started to head upward. The stairs were right ahead, so Lianna started to climb. At the top on the next floor, was a graveyard. "Any ghost types?" Lianna asked. A few ghost types could be seen. "Wow!" Lianna called out. "What brings you here, child?" A voice asked. "I wanted to catch some ghost types." Lianna said. "I see. How many do you intend to capture?" The voice asked. "Hmm... not too much, but I'll see what I find..." Lianna said. "Understood." The voice said. "Why do you ask?" Lianna asked, but they figure vanished. 

"Eevee. Let's look around..." Lianna said cautiously. "Vee." Eevee said, raising her paw. Lianna gave her a high five, who she gave a high five back to. "Let's do this." Lianna said, searching around for ghost types. Eevee spotted one. A wild Shuppet appeared.

"A Shuppet!" Lianna called out. "Shuppet." Shuppet said. "Eevee, use Iron Tail!" Lianna called out. Eevee used it and hit Shuppet. Shuppet used Spite and caused Eevee to lose some of her PP. "Shoot! Try it again!" Lianna called out. Eevee did so, but Shuppet avoided the attack and used Will-o-Wisp. "Dodge it!" Lianna called out. Eevee jumped into the air but Shuppet fired a Will-o-Wisp and burnt her. Eevee got hurt by the burn. Lianna used a Burn Heal. "Iron Tail!" She commanded and Eevee did so, causing Shuppet to take damage. "Yes!" Lianna called out. "Vee!" Eevee called out. Shuppet used Will-o-Wisp again. "Dodge and counter with Will-o-Wisp!" Lianna called out, but Eevee got confused. She didn't know Will-o-Wisp and got burnt. Lianna sighed. "Use Iron Tail!" She called out. Eevee did so, but Shuppet dodged and used Spite again. Eevee lost more PP. "Iron Tail again!" Lianna called out, but it didn't work. There was no more PP for Iron Tail. "Eevee! Come back!" She called to her. Eevee ran back to Lianna.

Lianna sent out Wartortle. She came out of the ball. "Scald!" She called out and Wartortle used it. Wartortle hit Shuppet and Shuppet used Night Shade back at her. "Scald!" Lianna called out and Shuppet avoided the attack again and used Will-o-Wisp. "Be careful!" Lianna called out. Wartortle was unfortunately burnt then was hit twice as hard with Hex. "Gah!" Lianna cried out. Wartortle was hurt and fell to one knee. Lianna used a Full Restore and healed up Wartortle. "Scald!" Lianna called out and she hit Shuppet again. Lianna finally used a Dusk Ball and caught Shuppet. "Yes!" Lianna called out. "Wartortle." Wartortle said. "Maybe we can find a Dusk Stone or two..." Lianna said. "Tortle." Wartortle said. "Vee." Eevee said.

"It can be for Misdreavus." Lianna said. "Vee." Eevee said and nodded. Lianna looked around, Eevee looked around too. Music could be heard. "Music?" Lianna asked. Ghost type Pokémon could be seen dancing to the music. "Wow!" Lianna called out in awe. "Vee." Eevee said and smiled at the music. "So soothing..." Lianna said. Eevee got attracted to the music and slowly walked to it. Lianna followed her.

A ghost child could be seen playing with a Mismagius. "A Mismagius?" Lianna asked. Two ghost children were playing with a ball, but the ghost boy threw the ball too high that it hit a chandelier. "Huh?!" Lianna asked in fear. The chandelier started to rock, Eevee looked up and stared at it. "Eevee! Be careful!" Lianna cried out. The chandelier falls down, aiming at Lianna and Eevee. "EEVEE!" Eevee screamed, too afraid to move. "No! Eevee!" Lianna cried out and dived down to grab her. The chandelier fell down and hit both Lianna and Eevee, crushing them to death.

Lianna and Eevee were dead.

Two of Lord Lavender's daughters looked at the corpses. "What shall we do?" The third daughter asked. "Let fate decide, then we'll see." The fourth one said. The two of them leave the bodies be. Lianna then floated out of her body with Eevee, in the form of a ghost. "Huh? Eevee? Did we just... die?" She questioned her Eevee. "Eevee?" Eevee asked and looked at their bodies and pointed at them in shock. "OH MY ARCEUS! WE ARE DEAD!!! WE FREAKING DIED!!" Lianna screamed in shock. Eevee started to cry. "D-don't cry Eevee... Maybe being a ghost wouldn't be all that bad..." Lianna comforted Eevee. "Vee?" Eevee asked and stopped crying. "Let's go explore." Lianna said. "Eevee." Eevee said.

They floated around the tower together. "So many ghost children here..." Lianna said. "Eevee." Eevee said. They happened to all be playing. "Excuse me... but who are you children?" Lianna asked some of the ghost children. They spotted her and ran off, or floated off. The 10th daughter noticed her. "Big sister, we got another one!" She said. "There is an awful lot of ghost children here.." Lianna said. "Well, we are a big family." The eldest spoke from behind. "Yeah... so how many siblings do you have? For brothers and sisters?" Lianna asked. "There are 15 brothers and 15 sisters, but not 16 sisters." She said, giving her hand to Lianna. "Right sister?" She asked curiously. 

"Uh... I guess so, sister...." Lianna said and took her hand. "Now then, I'll show you your new life and family." The eldest daughter said and took her to see some of the ghost children."Hello?" Lianna asked. "They can't hear you." The eldest said. Eevee floated down to them, which the ghost children started to hug her when they spotted her. "They like my Eevee." Lianna said with a smile. "Yes, they like all Pokémon, I bet your Eevee will bright a lot of joy to this tower." The eldest daughter spoke. "I hope I can be able to live again..." Lianna thought to herself. "Something wrong?" The eldest daughter asked. "Nothing... it's just.... that I wished I was alive again... I mean, I don't mind being a ghost... but I didn't wish that I didn't die at 17 years of age..." Lianna said sadly. "Oh. Well, there's a problem with that..." She said. "Can I see the various ghost types you have floating around?" Lianna asked. "Sure, but all you have to do is look around and see what this tower has in ghost types." She said to Lianna. "Okay! Would I be able to catch them?" Lianna asked. "I'm afraid not, as your mortal body is dead and you won't be able to battle them without a Pokémon to call." The first daughter said to Lianna. 

"Oh..." Lianna said sadly, she floated towards the ghost type Pokémon, wondering about a shiny ghost type. A shiny ghost type Pokémon could be seen, but it was too far away. "Ooh! What could it be? A Shiny Frillish? Shiny Drifloon? Shiny Honedge? Shiny Phantump?" Lianna asked and approached it. It was none other than a Shiny Phantump. "A Phantump! If only I could catch you..." Lianna said sadly. "You can, if you return to your body with Eevee." The eldest daughter told Lianna. "Oh! I can return to my body?" Lianna asked curiously. "Yes, only if you can convince those two little ghost girls to give back Eevee." The eldest daughter explained. 

"O-okay..." Lianna said nervously. Lianna floated back to them. "E-excuse me, but can I have my Eevee back?" Lianna asked nervously. "Why? She was just playing with us." The eighth daughter said. "I think we are going to be alive again." Lianna said. "Y-you don't like being dead?" The eighth daughter asked. "Why would you want to live again?" The third daughter asked. "I mean, being dead is okay... but I have a life to live! Dreams to accomplish! Friends to make! An island league to maybe win!" Lianna explained to them. "But that's your dream, what about Eevee?" The eighth daughter asked Lianna. "My Eevee loves me and she wants to be beside me at all costs. Eevee, come to me please!" Lianna called out and held her arms out. 

Eevee floated back to her. The eighth daughter looked down in sadness. Lianna then felt bad for making her feel sad. "Hmmm... I need to find you something to give..." Lianna said. She thought for a moment then got an idea. She started to sew up 30 plush Eevee dolls and 30 plush Substitute dolls. "What is it?" The eighth daughter asked. Lianna handed her an Eevee doll and Substitute doll. "An Eevee and Kangaskan Doll?" The eighth daughter asked. "Substitute doll. But still. These are for you, and for all of your other sisters and brothers." Lianna said to her. "Thank you miss. Did my sister tell you about coming back to life?" She asked Lianna. "Yes she did." Lianna said. "Oh, so you're going to leave us?" The eighth daughter asked. "As much as I would enjoy staying with you... I would like to bid farewell..." Lianna said. "Okay then, but next time you end up like this, can you stay forever? When you die naturally?" She asked Lianna. "Uh... Yeah. Sure." Lianna said to her. 

"Don't listen to her, she's just messing with you. Now let's get you back into your body." The eldest daughter said to Lianna. "Okay." Lianna said and floated over to her body. "Are you ready?" She asked Lianna and Eevee. "Yes. Ready Eevee?" Lianna asked her. "Vee! Eevee!" Eevee said. "Good, in that case..." She said, then kicked them into their bodies. "Get in your bodies!" She said. 

Lianna then woke up, no longer crushed by the fallen chandelier. She was alive again, in her own body once more. "Eevee! We're alive!" Lianna called out in joy. "Vee!" Eevee called out, smiling and jumping for joy. Lianna smiled wide and hugged Eevee. Eevee felt very happy. Lianna smiled sweetly. Eevee then smelt something. "Eevee?" Lianna asked Eevee. Eevee ran up a flight of stairs and found the Shiny Phantump from before. "Oh my goodness! A Shiny Phantump!" Lianna called out. 

Lianna was determined to catch this Shiny Phantump,
