Everyone looked through the Alola region lab window to look at the three starter Poke'mon. Everyone just starred at Popplio, and laughed. "He looks like a clown" a girl said. She had long blond hair and wore a blue dress."He looks like he was made for a circus act" said an older trainer boy. He wore a blue tank top and blue shorts. In the Alola region it was hot and very sunny like it was summer every day."Yeah! He looks like a seal with a clown nose" said the girl. "Yeah! Exactly!" the boy agreed. They walked away laughing.

Popplio looked down to the ground sadly, tears flowing down his dark blue cheeks and went inside it's ruffle collar made out of water. "I do look like a circus act" he thought looking at his ruffle collar, it reminded him of what clowns wear around their necks and the big pink nose reminded him of the red nose clowns wear on their noses.  Litten and Rowlet looked at Popplio sadly. "We should help" Litten said. "Yes! we should!" Rowlet said. They grabbed a blank banner on the ground and grabbed some crayons left from a trainer who came into the lab the other day. They began to decorate it.

When the two little Poke'mon were done they raised the banner up where Popplio could see it. Rowlet held the left pole with it's left wing and Litten held the right with it's tail. They stood in the middle and smiled at Popplio. It looked up and saw the sign that said: 

                                                              We ❤ Popplio!

Popplio looked very happy and wiped it's tear and ran towards it's friends and hugged them. Rowlet hugged him with his right wing still holding on to the banner and Litten hugged him with his two front paws still holding on to the banner that he wrapped his long black tail around.

Popplio was happy again. He knew his friends didn't care what he looked like. He loved his friends very much, well they were his only friends, other than Professor Kukui and his mysterious assistant, Lillie.
