Papyrus was currently taking a stroll through Snowdin, as part of his own strict "training" of becoming a Royal Guard. Soon, however, he was approached by a familiar face.

Papyrus: AH, HELLO FRISK! WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM THE GRRREAT PAPYRUS?

Frisk seemed to scoff at the question that Papyrus asked and only seemed to point their weapon of choice, a knife, at the tall skeleton.

Frisk(?): For you to stop moving altogether, bonehead.

Papyrus: HUH? WHAT DO YOU-

Before Papyrus could finish his sentence or even react, he was sliced by the blade of a knife and instantly collapsed to his knees in pain. The last thing poor Papyrus sees is the snow-covered ground before the knife slashes down at him again.

You had finally woken up from your peaceful slumber and groggily got off the couch. You looked around and noticed the house was eerily quiet and empty, which should be impossible since Papyrus lives here after all. Assuming the skeletons (and Frisk) to be outside, you immediately headed out in hopes of finding them.

When you went outside, it was unusually quiet, just like it was in the house. There's nobody outside, which you thought was strange. There was always at least SOMEBODY outside.

Along your walk, you keep finding dust in the snow which you could've sworn was not there earlier. Eventually, you came across something that made you stop cold in your tracks: Papyrus's scarf. You quickly ran up to it and inspected it and discovered it was covered in the same dust you saw earlier in the snow.

Sans: so, i see you found my bro...or at the least the remains of him...

You were startled by the sudden sound of Sans's voice. Looking up from the scarf, you see Sans standing there.

Sans: she's here, kiddo...and she's already taken victims.

You: Who? Chara?

Sans: bingo.

For some unknown reason, you get goosebumps when Sans confirms your question.

You: Well, where is she then?

Sans: she's at waterfall as we speak.

You: W-Well, shouldn't we go try to stop her then?

Sans: i have a feeling undyne's doing something about it right now.

You: I'm going to go check on Undyne, just to make sure she's alright.

Sans: you sure, kiddo?

You: Yes.

Sans: well, alright. i won't stop you. just...be careful kiddo, ok? cause somebody really cares about ya.

You: Sure thing, Sans.

With that, Sans teleports away and you make your way toward Waterfall.

Soon, you finally arrive at Undyne's house. Walking up to it, you knock on the door. After a couple of seconds, Undyne opens the door with her spear in hand, seemingly ready to attack.

Undyne: AHA! I KNEW YOU'D- Oh, it's the other human punk. What is it?

You: I came to check up on you since...

Undyne: Yeah yeah, I've already know what's going on. Come on in.

You step inside Undyne's house as she closes the door behind you.

Undyne: I don't know WHAT happened but the other human, Frisk, suddenly arrived in Waterfall and started to kill monsters left and right! Something's not right... I want to blame her but for some reason, I kinda don't? Like this is someone else's doing... NGAAAAH! IT'S ALL SO CONFUSING!

You were currently debating whenever or not you should tell Undyne about Chara when Undyne spoke up again.

Undyne: Well, it doesn't matter now! I'm about to go out and put a stop to this! I'm going to confront her... AND THEN MOP THE FLOOR WITH HER! And I'll, uh, even let you watch me do that. You get to have a front row seat to my fight! Isn't that exciting?!

You: That's...nice? ᴵ ᵍᵘᵉˢˢ...ˀ

But unbeknownst to you and Undyne, a figure with a knife was seen approaching Undyne's house with a small maniacal grin on their face.
