"are you ok" Alistair asked him. Ace was beginning to panic. he started hyperventilating and felt light headed. "you afraid im going to kill you or something" Alistair asked jokingly. Ace nodded his head. "who told you that" Alistair asked. "m mommy said Alice wants to kill me and chop off my head and steal my crown" ace said pointing to his crown. "woah" Alistair said felling shocked and slightly sad for the young boy. "i wont do that im nice and so is my mum and sister" Alistair said. " p promise" ace asked as he slowly began to calm down. "i more than promise" Alistair held out one of his pinkys. "i pinky promise" Alistair said before giggling a little.

Ace giggled to and was also slightly confused he spent his whole ten years of life listening to his mother saying Alice and her family were evil who took away her throne and deserved to loose their heads. "you know we have something you might like" Alistair said. "what" ace asked. "follow me" Alistair said walking away. ace began to follow him and the two boys stopped at a pitch where they were other kids their playing croquet badly. "what are they doing" ace asked. "here at school we have a croquet team but we're really bad at it" Alistair said. "why are they bad" ace asked. "i dont know just are i guess"Alistair said.

"HEY GUYS I GOT A NEW RECRUIT" Alistair shouted to the group of kids who began to come over to them."p please dont shout" ace asked as he slowly uncovered his ears. "you dont like loud noises" Alistair asked. ace shook his head. when the kids came over ace felt a little nervous. "guys this is Ace hes the Queen Of Hearts kid" Alistair said. the group went wide eyed. " t the q queen of h hearts" a blonde haired girl said scared. "dont worry Elle hes as harmless as a white rabbit" Alistair said. "can he play Croquet" a dark tanned boy asked. ace pulled out a sleeping shuffle from his bag and a deck of cards. ace waved his hand and the cards made hoops. shuffle curled up into a ball and ace put him on the ground. "i need a flamingo" Ace said. "what is he talking about you dont play croquet with flamingos" she said confused. "you do in wonderland" Alistair said. he went into the shed and pulled out a gold flamingo wearing a red and black crown.

he handed it to ace "thank you" Ace said. he took the flamingo and put it next to shuffle he hit the shuffle and she went three all five hoops and hit the pole. the group of kids were amazed by this. "all in favor of making Ace are new team captain" the red haired girl said. the other two raised their hands. "hi im Adagio daughter of Ariel" the red haired girl said. "im Elle daughter of Cinderella" elle said. "and im Piper son of Pocahontas" the dark tanned boy said. ace waved to them. Ace waved his hand and the card hoops went back into a deck and fit backed into his bag. shuffle followed to licking him before going into his bag.  "Ace where are you" a voice said. ace went wide eyed and turned and saw Mal. ace whimpered. mal saw him and came over. "there you are" mal said. "who are you" Piper asked. "are you his big sister" elle asked. "look at me" mal motioned to herself. "do i look like a queen of hearts kid to you" mal said. they all shook his head. "right answer im Mal daughter of Maleficent" mal said. once she said that they all went wide eyed in fear and hid behind Alistair. "i got to take Ace to his next class" Mal said.

"E Evie said she would take me" "she thought you and i need to bond more now lets go" mal said taking his hand. "see ya Ace practice is first thing tomorrow then after that its our big game" Adagio said waving to him as he and mal walked away. "practice for what might i ask" Mal said. "croquet im the team captain" Ace said. Mal went wide eyed. "what" she asked shocked. "im the team captain for the Auradon Prep Croquet team" Ace said. "there not really good im the best player are you Evie Carlos and jay coming to our game" Ace asked. "i dont know depends" mal said. "on what" ace asked. "if i can get out of bed" Mal said. "why wont you be able to get out of bed" Ace asked. mal sighed one of the reasons mal doesn't like hanging around ace for long is because he doesn't get sarcasm or when she says stuff like this. "because i might be tired and not want to get out of bed" Mal said. "oh ok" Ace said.

Mal breathed a sigh of relief to see they finally arrived at Aces class. "ok here we are have fun" mal said. before she left she felt something around her waist. she went wide eyed when she saw it was Ace with his arms wrapped around her waist. "what are you doing" she masked. ace quickly let go of mal. " s sorry but when ever Evie or Carlos take me to class i hug them to thank them" Ace explained. "um ok Mal said as she slowly walked off she saw ace enter the class and wave at her. she waved a little back at him. "why did i do that" she thought . she thought nothing of this and left and went to her next class
