* Sorry for the long wait *

The group of royals were only one step closer to the temple of light to see King Garmadon and Queen Misako. Though this journey was long and difficult, the five royals were going to miss the fun adventures they had. 

The five royals were at the front gates of the light temple, but there was no guard in sight and to be the most populated kingdom of Ninjago it's quite unusual. "It's quiet. To quiet" Lloyd said with concern. 

"Maybe the guards are on a lunch break I mean it's noon so" Jay responded, but wasn't as confidant as he should've been. 

Lloyd was leading the four royals to the door to then be opened to them, but like before they did not open for the prince of Ninjago City. Kai got in front of Lloyd and pushed the big long doors open to see an empty throne room. "Did someone just rampage this place or something?" Nya asked as the walked into the throne room. 

Then all of a sudden there was a sudden bang, everyone turned around to see the temple's doors closer with some guards right in front of it. "It's a trap!" Zane yelled as we were about to make a run for it, but a certain prince came in front of them. 

"Now, now. We don't have to fight all we need is the Smith siblings and I'll be on my way" The prince of Jamanakai Village reasoned. 

"Like we'll be going anywhere with you Brookstone" Kai hissed at Cole. 

"Hey I thought that we were a team. A pity that you would say that to your future brother in law" Cole said with a smirk. 

Jay quickly grabbed Nya's hand gently and pulled her behind him, "She is not going to be coming anywhere near you, Son of a murderer" Jay hissed at Cole. 

Cole looked at Jay with sudden realization that he was the thief and he knows his family's secret, "I thought that you were suppose to be dead? Oh wait now I know you decided that after you kidnaped Nya that you should also kidnap Kai as well. Well I also need for you to come with me as well" He said. 

Nya got her bow and an arrow and aimed it at Cole, "Remembered what happened last time. Don't make me want to do that again" Nya hissed back at him, but as she backed away from Cole she bumped into a figure that she knew all too well. 

"Nya Smith I think you need to come home with us" The familiar sound of the King Ray said.

Nya turned around to see her father right in front of her, "You" She hissed. 

"Guards take the thief away and bring these princes home" The king demanded, but before any of the guards had a chance to touch the royals, Nya shot her arrows to the knights shoulders making them fall to the ground. 

"They are no longer those kids you once knew" Zane said as he got his shuriken's out. 

"We are not coming back home after what you try to do to Nya" Kai said as he looked right into Ray's eyes.

"You told them everything didn't you?" The king asked his son, Kai simply nodded, "Your a disgrace to this family." Kai was in deep shock and filled with rage as his sister was when she found out about the marriage. Out of no where, knight came from behind all the royals and brought them down to there knees with all weapons restricted from them. 

"Now if you would listen to me I would like to get this over with as soon as possible" The king said signaling Cole to do his job. He grabbed Jay from the ground and started to punch him. Cole kicked, punched, hit, and so many other things to make Jay start bleeding from his nose and mouth. 

"Cole STOP!" Nya screamed in horror as her father commanded to hurt Jay more and more. Jay tried to fight back, but from Cole's strong grip he couldn't go anywhere.

"Father stop!" Kai yelled as he was trying to get to Jay, but the knights held him back. Everyone else started to scream in horror for Jay, but no luck. Then all stopped when Jay was motionless on the floor coughing up blood, but what he didn't know was the Cole had an axe in his hand ready to drop on Jay's head. 

"FATHER STOP IT PLEASE!" Nya screamed even louder then she did before. 

"And why should I do that sweet child?" Ray asked with no heart what so ever. 

"Because I love him!" She yelled making Cole stop his actions and looked directly at Nya then back at the king.

"You love him?" The king laughed, "I have never heard such a foolish thing in my life." 

Nya's face was covered in hot, wet, tears and the kept coming down every time she would speak, "Father, I do love this man with all my heart and a lot more than Cole. And may I just add that Jay is not a thief or a murderer" Nya stated. 

"Then what is he Nya!?! What is this man!?!" The king yelled at his daughter with confusion. 

"The prince of Zelda" Zane stated to the king, "Jayson Gordon." 

The king looked at Jay in disbelief, "The prince died along with his parents a long time ago." 

"He never did. The king of Jamanakai Village killed the king and queen to get more control of Ninjago. Jay was saved by one of the knights and was only one when it happened" Lloyd said.

"Impossible! My father was on the dark island when the protest happened, besides this man murdered the king and queen!" Cole yelled scaring the young royals. 

"I bloody saw him stab my mother in the heart!" Jay yelled as he kicked Cole from under his feet making him fall to the ground. Nya realized the guards had guns and was able to break free of the grasp of the knight and ran over to the beaten up Jay. 

"Jay are you alright?" Nya whispered to Jay, yet he only nodded unable to speak from the blood clogged in his throat. 

"If you truly love him then you will leave him to die" Ray said heartless. 

Tears still streaming down Nya's face, "I'm not letting him die" the princess whispered to herself. 

"Father, just let Jay be free and me and Nya will come home" Kai started to bargained. 

"If that's what you wish then I will let that happen, but Nya will still be getting married as planed" Ray said. Kai nodded in response knowing that his sister was going to kill him when he got home. Nya kissed Jay's forehead one last time before a guard forcefully grabbed her by the arms and pulled her to the rest of the royals. 

"Shall we leave your highness?" Cole asked giving his axe back to the knight. 

The king nodded and they all left except Lloyd and Jay for this was Lloyd's home. The guards let Lloyd be and he ran over to Jay to see if he was breathing. "Jay, buddy you okay?" The soon to be king asked. Jay raised his hand up to make a thumbs up and laughed a little, but went back to serious as Lloyd helped him get up. 

"They.....Have......Nya" Jay tried to say. 

"I know I know. Kai made that choice to save you from death, but that did come to the option of the royal wedding" Lloyd said, " But as the royals of the capital we are always invited to a party. And since you need to recover, you can stay with me for now until then."

Jay looked back at the doors to the last place he saw Nya before she was forced out of the door.
