Third Point of View

It is a cloudless night. The moon above the sky shines bright as the stars shimmers. It's light shines down through a small window of a room. The room wasn't that too big nor too small. It is enough to fit one bunk bed, one large drawer, and two desk. The room also have two doors and one of them leads to the small bathroom. The other leads to the hallway of the house. A young girl with brown shoulder-lenght hair turns to her right were she can see the whole room quietly from the lower bunk. She can't sleep no matter how hard she tries. There's one person lingering her head and she can't help but to be irritable about it. After a lot of toss and turns, she decides to sit up, grab her glasses, and take her phone from a desk. She opens her notepad and starts to type whatever she was thinking. She hopes it will ease her mind.

I cannot believe it is been 2 years since our dad went missing...although I find his promise to be uncanny...it was like he knows he will not return...the last person who have seen him is my twin sister, Madiel. I went and asked her what was the last thing she remembers about what happened to our dad but...she shrug it off like it was nothing. Like she did not care at all. I tried using my powers to the best I can but it didn't work.

My powers cannot be used to read deeper thoughts of a person just yet. It did rose some suspicion around her. Madiel and him were close. Though me and him do bond at some point, she was his favorite. She always have the chance to go with him in his job while I stay at the house helping out with mom. If something did happened to our dad, she would react as the most affected person in this household but whenever mom is not around, she pretends like our dad was nothing at all. Whatever, I will find him and my twin won't stop me. I..I'm not sure what he meant about his promise but if I find him, I'm sure I'll get more answers and these

The sleepless girl stops at typing on her phone when she heard the bed creak. She quickly hid her phone underneath her own pillow and pretends to sleep, forgetting to remove her own glasses. The bed creaks again but this time, it is louder than before. Looking at the top bunk, we could see a newly awaken girl with the same features as the girl at the lower bunk except this one doesn't have glasses. She slowly sits and stretches her arms in the air. After that, she climbs down a ladder at the end of her bed yawning. The sleepless girl tries to open her eyes a bit for her to see what is happening. On the other hand, the newly awaken girl walks to the light switch near the door to the hallway. She turns on the lights of their room making the other girl's eyes shut tightly. The girl next to the door looks at her sister expecting she is already asleep but seeing her eyes shut tightly and glasses on...eh not really. She walks to her look a like and removes her glasses.

"Marian, why are you still awake?"

She asked quietly. Marian didn't move at all for a couple of minutes before opening up her eyes in defeat and looks up to see her sister. She didn't answer her question nor said anything at all. That's when Marian's sister, Madiel, thinks she figured out the problem. "Nightmares?" She asked. Her twin sister sighs in relief before nodding her head up and down. Although guilt feels her heart, Marian shrugs of the guilt she feels because she lied. She's been itching for answers about their dad that's why she cannot rest and the thought of opening up about this to her about it won't help her in any way. She tried it once, she shrugs it off too.

The person infront of her grabs the blanket and pulls it over her sister until it reach her shoulders. "If you ever have nightmares again, just call me. I'll gladly be sleeping beside you." Marian looks away as her sister lays down with her. Her sister's hand snakes to her chest and cuddles her happily. On the other hand, Marian is a bit annoyed. She doesn't like being hugged to sleep. Especially her. The fact that she can't move that much because it is really tight makes her uncomfortable and annoyed. She struggle to push her sister away as she speaks with annoyance.

"I change my mind. Please get off of me. I'm fine by my own."

Her sister easily stops her from pushing her off the bed by hugging her even more. "Awe come on. We don't hug nor cuddle that often. Let your sister hug you~" she said in a playful tone. "Because you spend too much with your friends. Also, what you are doing to me is not a hug nor cuddle. Is more like squeezing me to death!" She continues to struggle from her tight grip as Madiel hides a smile filled with guilt and regret from her sister. "Alright." She loosen her hug and is about to sit up when she suddenly halts due to the hand trap at something. It is Marian's hand who's trying to grip her sister's hand. Madiel looks at her confused but didn't move her hand or do any kind of movements. "We still have our last day at school tomorrow. I don't want to be late." She said with a cold monotone voice but her actions says otherwise. Madiel smiles and lays down on the bed again. She then hugs her sister and to her sister's suprise, it wasn't as tight as before.

"I love you." She said as her sister hums in agreement. "Just...don't get used to this" Madiel chuckles and proceeds to hug her until they fall asleep, forgetting the lights are on and her phone is underneath the pillow.
