With the moon light flashing in her eyes, Wisteria crashed through the forest, struggling to push the branches aside in time so they may not strike her in the face.

But she had not watched the path that lay in front of her, and did not see the gorge that waited passionately ahead of her, waiting.

She tripped on the root of a dying uprooted tree, and tumbled;

Down.

Down.

Down.

She hit her head on a bolder, and let out a cry of pain, feeling the branches all around her tearing at her dress.

Everything around her began to grow blurry.

She felt a coldness was over her.

Her world went black.

Wisteria awoke to the sounds of birds chirping, echoing through the wood. Her world was blinding, but not the sun, for a white cloud had settled around her.

She sat up, and realized that the coldness that had over taken her body as she succumbed to her shaken skull was only a mere flowing runnel she had landed in.

In the misty morning around her, the dampness of her clothes chilled her to the bone.

She slipped on the rocks as she struggled to get to her feet.

Desperate of warmth, Wisteria peeled off her sticking gloves and rubbed her hands and hugged her body.

Her teeth began to chatter, and her body began to quake.

Wisteria began to pull the roots all around her, struggling to escape the gorge that wishes to keep her as prisoner for eternity.

With whimpers of pain from her goose egged head, she clawed the rocks that clanged to the top.

She placed her footing on a branch, and began to wiggle herself onto the muddy grass.

But when she turned her head up, her heart stopped.

A charming man, dressed in lavishing white silk, and green velvet, was bent on one knee. A green pendent glistened around his neck, and a warm smile. He was holding out a white and gold hand for the princess.

In shock, surprise, and excitement, Wisteria slipped on the branch that supported her, and fell back into the gorge.

She hit her head again on the bolder.
