Vanessa's POV:

"Thanks for dropping me off, I'll see you soon mom", I say as she pulls up in front of the airport.

"If you need anything just call me okay", she says and kisses my forehead.

"I will", I say then get out with my bag.

My plane leaves in ten minutes, the rest of my friends almost reach campus.

I board the plane and put my bag above me, then sit by the window.I still can't get the that image of Linda kissing Jake out my head. I hope I don't have to see her anytime soon.

When I exit the airport I see Archer there waiting, while texting on his phone.

"Hey", I tap his shoulder and he turns around.

"You're finally here", he smiles and takes my bag, then stop a cab.

"Yale university please", Archer says and the driver nods.

"Vanessa!" Lucas shrieks and hug me tightly when I reach campus, as well as Austin, Jay and Harry.

"Don't worry we'll protect you from Jake", Harry says.

Aand also give him hell on the field this week", Austin adds and did a high five with Lucas.

"Thanks guys", I say then go to my dorm.

"You're here, I'll call Riley", Stacy says as soon as I enter.

Carter smiles,"I'll see you tomorrow for class", he says and leaves.

"Riley, Vanessa just arrive we'll meet you at your van in fifteen minutes", Stacy says and hangs up.

I take a quick shower and change into something comfortable.

"This week we're going to focus on finishing our course and revising for mid semester quizzes", Stacy announces.

"Cool", I nod.

"This is delicious", Riley moans, as she bites into her burger.

We are at Big  Belly Burger Place, this is Stacy's choice for us to eat.

"Yeah Carter love to come here to eat when we don't have evening classes and he don't have practice", Stacy says.

I bite into my burger and watch out the window glass.

"You'll be okay Vanessa and if Quinn comes to tell you any bull crap don't be afraid to tell her unpleasant things", Stacy adds and I nod.

"Maybe you should flirt around, show Jake what's her missing", Riley smirks.

"Then have people call me a slut? I rather not", I reply, then check updates on my phone.

Dianne and them almost reach back to their campus.

Jake: Hi are you okay?

I change back his contact to his name.

Me: I'm fine, don't worry

Jake: I'm sorry for everything that happened at the party

Me: You had no idea she was doing that so I don't blame you, what I am sad about is that you actually considered dancing with her

Jake: I know I screwed up

Me: Big time, don't contact me till I'm ready

"I'm so proud of you", Riley hugs me and I smile.

"Yeah now lets drink", I say and drink my soda.

We all went for a walk in the local park, while talking and laughing.

I return back to my dorm with Stacy hours later.

"Good  night, I'm going to take a quick shower before hitting the sack", I say to Stacy.

"Night and don't worry the guys are all going to make sure you don't see Jake for most of this week", she replies and I nod.

"Morning, I'll like two coffees please", I say to the cashier. I am in the cafe, they're servicing coffee early this week.

"What's your name?", she ask.

"Vanessa Thomas."

"$5.00 been added to your bill", she says and I nod.

I got my coffee and make my way to a table, Archer promised he'll walk me to class after he comes back from jogging.

"Morning Vanessa, heard your weekend didn't go good", Quinn smirks as she takes a seat next to me.

"What do you want?" I roll my eyes.

"Oh nothing, but Jake's a jerk I'm sure you can agree after what happened at the party", she smiles.

"I wouldn't say a jerk, I'll say-"

"A player, a two timer, a heart breaker", she cuts me off.

"Just leave me alone", I snap.

"You didn't deny so he's a heart breaker, if you need someone to hang out with this week 'm always available, the sorority house big and blue we're having a gathering tonight", she says and gets up.

"By the way Jake might join a fraternity  house in January, so that means more girls would make moves on him", she adds.

I roll my eyes and see Archer enters with Jackson, I sip my coffee and when he sees me, he walk over.

"Morning vehicle, I bought donuts", he smiles and sits down. I pass him his coffee and he thanks me.

"How's the jerk?" I ask.

"Not so good, he didn't went on his morning jog and slept in", Archer replies.

"He never slept in", I frown.

"Exactly."

"Vanessa for lunch I'm taking you out to go get pizza", Jackson states and leaves.

"How's Michelle?" I ask Archer.

"Fine we talked this morning, its been so long since we talked like that I'm happy things are working out again", he smiles.

"At least your relationship isn't going through hell again."

"Don't worry Jake will get his act together and make it up to you."

"That would be one hell of a make up", I retort.

"Tell him to make you go to Hawaii with your friends for a weekend, that's a good make up."

"Great idea or let me go France for some days all alone."

"They're all great ideas."

When we finish, he walks me to class and I meet Caleb, Riley and Carter.

"Glad you're doing fine", Carter says as we take out seats.

"Yeah, but I can't say the same from Jake", I whisper.

Jake's POV:

I wake up with a slight headache, stress do that to me my grandpa experiences that all the time.

The room is empty, so Archer probably leave earlier than usual.

I check my social media updates, some people are still talking about the party that happened on Saturday and the kiss with Linda and I.

My parents are doing their best to get those post down and media to leave our family alone.

I went up on Linda's Facebook account.

She just post what she's having for breakfast her personal chef made and is eating with her boyfriend.

Yep, she has a boyfriend or hook up or whatever and still kissed me.

What a bitch.

There are a few comments from her friends about how famous she looked.

She also got an offer to do a commercial show for a new skin product and lipstick, yes she tells her personal life on social media.

Well after growing up with cameras on you all the time, you must love attention.

I log out and went to take a shower.

When I finish, I put on a track pants and T shirt.

I think I'll hit the gym after breakfast, then do some football drills with some juniors and take lunch.

I'll give Vanessa all the time she needs to get over what happened, maybe it will take a week or two.

As long as she talks to me again after this I'll be fine.
